|
|
I'm thinking about buying 4.5, but since I only own a DS (my GBA I'm suspecting was stolen since it's been gone for a year now) I'm having second thoughts about it since I'm not sure if the Battle Chip Gate will work on a DS or just plain fit on it.
Thank you to anybody who answers my question and I'm very sorry if this has been asked before. |

No. The DS doesn't have a GBA comm port, so you can't use it. |

You cannot use any Gameboy Advance items (Battlechip Gate...Wireless Adaptor...etc.) on the DS. _________________

They will probly make a new one to fit the DS somehow. anybody know wut that port is thats next to the headphone jack? its recatngular shaped, or maybe they're going to make it a wireless feature. I think it would be great & worth it to have a bttlechip gate thats compatible with the DS |

They probably may make a new BCG for the next generation of EXE for the DS. For not if you want to slot-in your chips, get $79.99(+tax) for a SP or get an orginal GBA.
As for that retangular thing, I think it might have to do with headsets or something. It should be in the DS manual (sorry if I spelt that wrong). |

I thought the BCG didn't work with the SP...hm...cuz all they show are the BCG on the original GBA. I never wanted an SP anyway...A waste of $100 (when it WAS $100) for just a backlit screen....I think the DS is a waste of money...but I stil got one. lolz. _________________ Tsk tsk tsk

The SP was also fold-up-able, and as a result, my compact and portable. But yeah, the backlight wasn't really even real, but a little light crammed between the screen and the plastic cover.
Anyway, I don't see why they couldn't MAKE a Battle Chip Gate for the DS that would use the GBA port. But as far as I know, the DS is NOT intended to be another GBA, so probably not for the current one, as other people are saying. _________________ I think it's time to say goodbye. |
