Stream 41 - Top Secret Orders C.F. (SPOILERS)

I dunno if you have to have a special authority to write episode summaries or anything, but I've noticed there still isn't one for 41, so... I'm gonna take a stab at it. (I have nothing else to do at work anyway.) Keep in mind that I don't know Japanese, so rely on other people replying in this thread for crucial story details...

I will clear up now that I only watched the episode once last night, and being at work right now, it's currently not available... but I should know it well enough to get the important stuff in the summary down. If I notice anything really off, I'll add it in when I get home later today.

So, the episode begins with Charlie flying around in his helicopter. He's holding Tesla's ring that she dropped waaay back in episode 20... he's looking at Duo's comet through it. Suddenly, a Net Savior helicopter has him land, and two mafia-esque men come out to take him somewhere.

Later, we see Dingo throwing his tomahawk up to decide where to go. It lands on a car door as it's opening and completely knocks it off the hinges... it's the Net Savior car, and the two same mafia-like men walk out to take Dingo with them. The same happens with Jasmine, who is at the zoo, watching over Inukai's lion in a cage. Then, once more to get Nenji, who is setting off some fireworks.

Netto is at the Maha Dash Ichiban, talking to Mahajarama. Meiru walks in with her pet cat (back from Axess 45), who she had just taken to the vetenarian. They talk about... stuff... and then Dekao shows up. They, uhm... talk some more, and Dekao starts to laugh about something and starts slapping the bag that Meiru's cat is sitting in. It gets pissed and bites his finger... >_>

Then Dekao says something to Netto (I'm assuming concerning the Net Saviors picking up Charlie and the others). We got to Net City, where Swallowman attacks a soccer game. Then Cloudman and Cosmoman also appear to attack everything. Netto plugs-in Rockman to go fight against the three, and of course gets hit pretty hard... Netto then uses Gyro Soul to fight back, but it's pretty short lived. Meiru and Dekao send in Roll and Gutsman to help Rockman fight... Mahajarama even sends in Magicman, who shows off some neat tricks to help against the Darkloids. Rockman also uses Search Soul (with full henshin from Axess) to defeat the Darkloids.

That is... until dimensional converters appear and a D-Area forms around the real Densan City. Immediately, a void opens in the sky and comets start raining down on the city, completely shocking Netto. He Cross Fuses (with henshin, not sped up) and uses Zeta Cannon (I believe... HiCannon x3) to destroy the void. Then he runs into Cosmoman, who swiftly hits Netto in the chest and causes him to lose his fusion. Then... Cosmoman leaves and the D-Area vanishes. (?)

Netto gets up and notices that the strike from Cosmoman broke his Synchro Chip. (gasp) Uhm... not quite sure what happens now, but for one reason or another, Netto is sent to Sharo... probably because everyone else (Dingo, etc. etc.) is there, including Yuuichirou, who will probably need to repair his chip.

On the way, there's a bunch of trucks passing over a bridge, and the cables begin to break. Netto notices this and gets out, but much to his dismay, can't Cross Fuse to save the truck. Suddenly, a D-Area forms and someone flies by! It's R Gyroman! He swoops down and catches the driver in the truck, returning him to safety as the bridge breaks. The D-Area fades and the person reveals himself as Charlie!

Netto is taken to where everyone else is at, including Meijin and Laika. I'm assuming Yuuichirou is talking about trying Cross Fusion with all of the crested people, as it then shows Pride in one of those experimental suits. (She doesn't actually Cross Fuse, but it's obvious she will.) And... uh, Charlie hits on Pride or something.

Anyway, the Darkloids attack again. There's a bunch of big machinary and such that they use D-Areas to take control of and start to get away with (not completely sure... why... or what they are). Strangely, the ending scenes of this episode (from here on) were presented in letter box (the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen)... and there's no real explanation why.

Anyway, so Charlie and Netto fly out there on helicopter, and Netto tries to plug in from the sky... but a big crane almost hits them, and he doesn't succeed. (Funny... if he wouldn't have started reciting his "plug-in" catch phrase, he would have plugged-in just fine.)

Anyway, Laika is also following on a motorcycle. Yuuichirou activates a D-Area to trap the machinery in, and the Darkloids materialize (all three of them again). Laika, Charlie, and Netto land... and Laika and Charlie Cross Fuse (both with full henshin sequences, though we've already seen Laika's). The two prepare to fight as the Darkloids chuckle arrogantly (and... it's pretty annoying). Netto just stares on, angry that he can't help fight with a broken Synchro Chip...

And the episode ends there. Uber cliff-hanger.

Next week, we get more random letter boxes and the exact same art director! Anyway, next week doesn't look that much more interesting... Charlie and Laika apparently get their butts kicked a bit, and some other things that really didn't stand out. Miyabi and Yuriko were there, though, so I'm assuming we'll see some Cross Fusion action with those two.

This episode wasn't bad... it just wasn't exactly good either. It, more or less, just set the stage for things. R Gyroman was really anti-climactic, though (there wasn't any bgm at all when he first appeared... it was really dull). I'm just glad he ended up getting a henshin (which looks really nice, I might add).

One thing I will note, though... it doesn't seem like Meiru is included with the fusion rangers after all, regardless that she can see Duo's comet now. Then again, Enzan, Yuriko, Tesla, and Barrel were absent as well (though they all have much more justifiable reasons, like existing in a different time or being kidnapped and stuff).

Anyway, feel free to correct anything I may be inaccurate or wrong about.

Aww...you beat me to it. XD I got to the Search Soul part.

You left out Magicman's new ability to make copies of himself...I don't know what it's called, but I call it Magic No Ninjitsu. \o

I liked R-Gyroman regardless of his lackluster intro, his henshin sequence is nice though.

The one thing I found off though...his Navi mark broke, the last time that happened, his PET broke, this time, it was his Synchro Chip. .-.

Hmm... I recalled Magicman using a similar attack in his first appearance on EXE, except he hid himself in a bunch of mirrors instead of simply making clones. His new technique was uber cool, though... and as Heat mentioned, Magicman has been getting a lot of new tricks lately. Maybe he'll be in EXE6?

Anyway, maybe it depends on where the crest is struck. The PET is apparently compressed into the crest as the navi's heart... and maybe Cosmoman hit it just the right way to break the synchro chip? Or maybe the PET III model is stronger, but the inferior synchro chip isn't anymore powerful than it was in Axess?

I dunno... but I do wonder where you have to hit R Gyroman to end his fusion. He has two crests, and they're both on his shoulders...

So I'm assuming there may be a possibility of R-Meddy, R-Napalmman, R-Knightman, and R-Tomahawk...hoorayz.

Enzan, Yuriko, and Tesla were probably absent because they can already cross fuse and Tesla is captive anyways. And they can't really bring Barrel either I guess.

Hence why I say they have slightly more justifiable reasons for being absent. =P

It's almost inevitable, at this point, that Jasmine, Dingo, Pride, and Nenji are going to Cross Fuse as well... probably Miyabi too. But I do think I figured out why Higure and Kero have been completely ignored all series, regardless that they're important characters in EXE5...

I mean, can you actually picture R Numberman and R Toadman?

Well...Kero hasn't been ignored really...she's done news stuff. She's been ignored as an important character though. XD

I wonder if the fact that Napalmman is an Asteroid Navi will have any problems with the Cross Fusion process at all...

I wish Toadman would make SOME kind of brief appearance... just so his cameo in the first credits sequence would make sense. Really, if Kero and Higure (together, or not) could have just ONE episode in Stream dedicated to them, filler or not, I'll be happy...

Toadman is so cute :3 What's up with Aqua navis being ALL so cute though? I mean... Iceman, Aquaman, Bubbleman, Toadman...

Heh, R-Numberman would be HILARIOUS XD I SO want to see a henshin sequence with Higsby, that'd bring in unlimited comical value. For one, how is his hair going to fit into a helmet? And Higsby and Numberman are both SO skinny, man, I bet they'd look perfectly alike.

Sharkman's pretty ugly, and Freezeman is more cool than cute. Though... Coldman and Blizzardman have that... Classic series kind of "cute."

'Problem with Higure is that... he's a really lame net battler, and there's no way I could see him with enough courage to actually fight something himself. If Higure is ever given the right to Cross Fuse, then there'd be no hope left for the series...

When you see R gyroman Cross Fuse is it a all new prosses or an old one. (like R roll is the same as R blues)

Looks like a well written episode though. Netto can't Cross Fuse, I find that funny...but now everyone else gets to. Barh. Overused it is.
