It is an mmorpg. Does anyone know about it or have an account/multiple accounts on it? Some of my friends introduced me to it and I got so addicted to it. >.< Then I got my cousins addicted to it, too. Does anyone have comments about this game? It isn't 3D, but it is more anime style. I also think that it is challenging.

How many Maple Story topics are we going to have? >_>
I played it for a few days. Probably one of the worst "mmorpgs" I've played. I guess if you find hitting snails repeatedly with one key, collecting loot, and walking around aimlessly challenging, you'd find this game amusing. |

I'm not really against this game, but what Zan said is kinda true. The game isn't that in-depth in it's customization and stuff like other MMORPGs.
Heck, I've ran into 3 clones of my character when I first played the game. And the community in Maple is very crap. Everyone there ONLY cares for themselves and will not help others unless they expect something back. (Same goes for Tibia and Runescape) The only thing I actually really like about MS is the chibi characters. And that the game reminds me of Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. Now, if the people of Ragnarok made a MMORPG like that, I bet there'd be a LOT of users playing it.
Speaking of Ragnarok and Maple Story, does MS let you get married? Heck, are there ANY real kinds of social interaction needed in it. 'Cause all the people I ever met there are either
1. ULTRA low levels chasing me around asking me for stuff and money.
2. ULTRA high levels who like to boast about their "Super Ultra Frisbee +434" and stuff.
3. 30 year old men acting as girls running around the place with the ^o^ emote face.
All in all, Maple Story is not the kind of MMORPG you wanna play, unless you're just trying to waste time and/or don't have anything else to do.
Even Runescape and Tibia are better than it, at least the people there aren't TOO selfish. (Well.... Rune's aren't. Tibia.... they are just looking for newcomers to kill off for fun.) |
