this is game for the DS (i guess everyone knows this now)

this is a game that everyone must get i read i uses the DS download play *aaah so wonderful*hugs his DS* nevermind the trailer and the pics say everything

but i'm saaad >_< cuz rock_lee is a support character T_T

and..oh yeah nintendo received over 300,000 pre-orders for this game

so i recommend that buying it :]

Ordered it 2 days ago along with EXE DS. Can't wait to play as the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure characters when it arrives. :)

Not really excited about any other characters other than them (Jotaro Kujo, Dio Brando, Gyro, Polnareff, Abdul and someone else I forgot), but it'll be nice to play with over 100 characters in an SSBM-styled game for a handheld system.

Edit: This game was also the killer-app/system-seller for the DS in Japan. The sales recently surpassed the PSP's totals in Japan.

I'm looking forwards to this quite a bit.
At this point, nearly every one of the manga I follow and/or like in Shounen Jump are included (hoping for Beet the Vandel Buster still, but I'm really happy with what's there) and there's still a few more to go.
Probably gonna use Allen and Gon mostly...

Yeah, I think there's still 4 more series that they're going to add stuff from.

Don't particularily care which ones they are as long as at least one of them is either Beet the Vandel Buster, Muhyo to Rosie or Neuro... those are the main series I want to see in this that haven't been added.
I hope the game comes out here... although I kinda doubt it, since it has a lot of their series that haven't ever been here yet.

I think the only playable characters on Jojo's are Jotaro and Dio, but there could be others. Everyone else is a Support.

The DBZ list doesn't look too bad, actually. I'm not a big fan of it, but I like playing as their characters in games. Keshin is okay. Hiei is, too. L from Death Note...

that's all I really recognize and look forward to. I've never read/watched any other series from that list.

Where'd you get that character list, by the way?

These guys are making a BIG mistake, How can they add that girl from One Piece as a playable, but not Hiei??!....Though I am surprized he's in it at all, since the shows over 10 years old in Japan.

Oookay, now I'm REALLY looking forwards to this game XD
Particularily Reborn and Sawada... considering how they "fight" in the manga they're in, it should be really interesting to see here.
Gintoki will be fun as well, if they keep his randomness intact in his fighting style. Razz

Again with the guys I want... thinking about it more, I'd like Neuro to appear the most out of them. He doesn't have any particular fighting style at all, but he does have abilities that could translate in to special attacks... and they'd probably look really cool as attacks. (or really WTFish)

Well, they appear to only be support... but I'd definately say so.
Light's the protagonist of the series, and is quite a bit different from most protagonists as he falls under the category of a villian who thinks he's fighting for justice but is twisted by power and he's one of the best characters of that type that I've seen.
L's kinda hard to describe... he's weird, for lack of better terms. But the weirdness is makes his character great.

Edit: Speaking of Death Note characters... Although I don't think they will, I wouldn't mind seeing Mello and Near as support characters too.

Well... Not much can be said right now, after all, The promotional pics for Mario 64 DS were bogus. They had all four characters fighting bowser and flying wingcaps at the same time. So maybe some things will be different here too.

Those preliminary shots of "64x4" were released months before the DS came out. JSS is rather recent.

Battle
A mode in which you can fight a computer opponent in any stage you like.
