| Does anyone know how to get Element Dark in EXE/BN 4? its the only evil chip i dont have and its the one i can't for the life of me find. ive read through a few FAQ's and they either never say where it is or how to get it or you get it by S-ranking the elemperorEX, but that doesn't work. if anyone knows where it is and/or how to get it, i'd love to know how. |

You have to S-rank an Elemperor5(not EX), and even then, if there's other viruses, it doesn't always give you the Elemperor5's chip(ElementDark).

If you have Red Sun, simply find the requisite viruses, and use WindSoul + DreamSword. That is a guaranteed S-rank. Then, it is up to chance whether you receive the chip or not.

I have Blue Moon..., but i guess i could use a FanBox. that might work... oh, and do you have to be in dark form? |

All evil chips require some sort of Dark Soul in Rockman.

A tip (I found this very effective in getting me 5 ElementDark chips once)
Find a virus pattern like this
[X][X][X][O][O][W]
[X][R][X][O][E][O]
[X][X][X][E][O][O]
E=Elemperor
W=Walrus Virus (TwinFang)
M=Rockman/Megaman
You have to be in FullSynchro and have an AirHoc3 chip.
Once you start the battle, use the AirHoc chip with fullsynchro. The combined power should hit all of them a lot of times resulting in major damage. You should be able to get the ElementDark chips after a while. (Use Enemy Lock here) This is a very effective method that I would strongly recommend.

Well...given Blue Moon, that would possibly be a viable strategy. The problem is--one must draw, in addition to the Sword, a bonus chip--the Windbox. Generally, it's harder in BM since all one has to do in RS is to draw a single Wind-aligned chip to unison for WindSoul, while BM players must draw that one specific chip. Either way, it's up to you.
The Airhockey trick is also useful, but you must be careful that the puck causes a double delete at least. Since the viruses have differing amounts of HP, the puck may not deliver the coup de grace to the viruses simultaneously, and you could be left with a 9 rank and no chip. Best way to guarantee that is with an FS, or perhaps a PA itself.

Hmm, AirHockey3?? i've never thought of using that one before, thanks a bunch... i've tried a bunch of other stuff, but nothing seems to work. i've S-ranked them a few times with a couple Program advances and Bass Anamoly, but i still havent got Element Dark yet... maybe that might work.
Edit: I've FINALLY got that chip now... so this topic can be locked at anytime now, i have no further use for it.... thanks to everyone for the tips. |
