Pokemon Diamond and Pearl (will have spoilers)

I'm pretty sure there's a few people here besides me looking forwards to these games, so I decided to make a topic about it, and the news/pokemon updates about it.

If you're going to post something about how there shouldn't have been any pokemon games past the first ones, Pokemon is dead, there's too many pokemon, you only liked the first 150, etc... please don't bother.
I'd rather have this topic stay about these two games themselves and I get enough of that on random occasions and 75% of the time I mention the subject Razz

Doesn't mean I don't want any negativity though. If you don't like one of the new designs, or some sort of information revealed later about the game, feel free to say that (don't just pointlessly bash though).

So far, I like the look of the new pokemon.
I like the designs for both of the ones shown so far, and although I'm not as fond of a couple of the silouettes, I'm still interested in seeing how they turn out. Hopefully more will be shown soon.

Also, I noticed the art style seems to have charged slightly again... not too surprised though, since that happened with each game so far.

I'm very interested in seeing what that Sudowoodo shaped Pokemon is...if it's a baby version I'll love it. XD

Rukario looks awesome, I want to touch him.

Even though I found Pokemon games to be boring, I'd be interested to be see what it'll be like for the DS. :O

After Fire Red/LeafGreen...I kinda lost it all...DeOxys was cool, but I thought they overdid it. but after seeing this...I may actually consider getting it. =P Oh lord, another 500 pokemon to catch.

I don't think I read the manga that much. i had two little issues of Hey You Pikachu, and one book. I think Number three. Where...

Ash goes with brock, meets Misty and her sisters, and replaces this girl in the Pokemon Race thing, using her Ponyta, which evolves into a Rapidash. :D

Do they ever plan on stopping Pokemon even though the games are getting monotonus and the Pokemon are getting worse?

I don't think so.Pokemon is a cash cow for Game Freak and Nintedo.

Starone, Please read what I said at the beginning of the topic.

Please don't post if you're just posting to say how Pokemon is dead, should end, has been going on too long, etc.

Plus, it's entirely a matter of opinion, don't be stating it as a fact Razz

I for one have been long awaiting these games, and they will be the reason I will buy a DS, since no other game I've seen for it has been worth it <.< Rukario isn't ...the BEST loooking "Legendary", perhaps..but still pretty damned cool. :O

Most people at my school hate Pokemon, but me I still like it. The fact that Game Freak has made so many characters and is thinking of more. It is cool!

I feel that Rukario isn't all that great looking...those black things on his head look out of place. I'm sure I'll grow to like him over time though. > Surprised

I just hope that they will take advantage of the DS capabilities. Can't use the link, so I don't know what they've officially said (local network security keeps me from viewing the link). I had and idea of moving in 3D on the bottom screen using the control pad, then poking the grass with the stylus to try and scare out wild Pokemon. Seems the simplest way to take advantage of the DS. Top screen should be an overhead map to keep you from getting lost.
