Stream 43 Summary - "Worker Miyabi" - Spoilers

[Ryouko]

We come upon a stark naked Dark Miyabi meditating underneath a waterfall. Wily disturbs his peace by approaching, and begins to burn on him for failing to take out Rockman and Hikari Netto, thanks to interferance by Yuriko and Needleman. Dr. Wily recollects that Netto is a holder of the Crest of Duo, much now like Miyabi himself. Miyabi disappears, and reappears at the top of a cliff, contemplating Wily's words. "A partnership with Hikari Netto....impossible!"

"Shigoto nin' Miyabi!" "Worker Miyabi!"

At a 'Bank', 'Meganet Bank', and 'Giganet Bank', Asteroid Swordman appears in the cyberworld and deletes all of the security navis. He then materializes in the real world, and destroyes the gates on the vaults, revealing all the cash behind them. THe overlarge navi grabs all the bags of loot, then takes off into the night.

The cops arrive, far too late by now to do anything. "The criminal was an Asteroid?!", Netto asks surprised. Manabe shows him a blurred photo at the scene, which Netto recognizes right away as Swordman. Manabe explains how he got past their firewalls in the cyberworld, then took off with all the money. Netto asks who the operator is, but he can't seem to be found. Manabe leaves that task to Netto.

Up above on the rooftops, Miyabi is silently glaring at Netto's PET. Miyabi prepares to launch a kunai at the PET, but a leaf blowing by distracts him, allowing the boy to safely walk away out of sight. Miyabi grunts, and looks the other way, only to see another familiar face.

The criminal gives a rat like laugh, having succeeded in his cash hijack. From behind, Miyabi's voice calls out, and he appears from the shadows, asking what his old friend is up to. "Ah, it's just you, Miyabi taishou..." Miyabi only listens as the criminal (who's name I can't decipher) heralds his new project as a great enjoyment. He pats the fellow ninja on the shoulder, then dissappears into the shadows. Miyabi grunts again. His night doesn't seem to be going very well.

The next morning, Netto flees his home and joins up with his friends on their way to school. Meiru, Tohru and Chisao all greet him a good morning. The boy is overfilled with an unusual amount of cheer and energy as he darts ahead of them all.

Disguised cleverly on the wall beside them, Miyabi pulls out his pointy kunai weapon once again. As he prepares to attack, a crow comes out of absolutely nowhere and attacks Miyabi instead! The leet ninja gets rid of the bird just in time to see the children run around the corner, far out of his range.

"What do I dooooo..." whines Netto, now in class. Seems he forgot his homework. Outside the window, Miyabi is hanging upside down from a treelimb like a bat. He draws out his weapon ...... and a catapillar drops down in his line of sight. Miyabi simply moves his head aside .... and the curtains are now drawn. Curses! Foiled again. Miyabi grunts.

Recess! Netto's playing a fun game of soccer with all his friends. He makes a devastating kick towards the goal, only to have the ball rebound ferociously and smack him square in the head. The ball falls back the other way, and rolls right into the goal, much to the goalie's dismay. "Netto, nice goal!" cheers Meiru, as Netto lays passed out on the ground.

As you guessed it, Miyabi is watching from above, and prepares to attack the poor helpless boy. However, before he can fling of the kunai, something stops him. "Th...This is....?!" It seems he can't bring himself to do it. Shadowman hails him from his PET, telling Miyabi that this is his perfect chance to finish the job. A stiff argument between navi and operator breaks out, but is interrupted by an unsuspected attack - by Yuriko!

Miyabi's not happy to see her, but according to Yuriko he needs to get it through his head that Netto's not the one he should be fighting, he's a partner. It's Duo they all need to defeat. Miyabi still resists the idea, saying he'll decide for himself. Since he refuses to believe, Yuriko swears she'll stop any further attacks against Netto herself.

Yuriko dashes in full speed, swinging kicks and punches at Miyabi. He blocks the last attempt, and throws a smoke bomb to the ground, covering his escape. He leaps from roof top to roof top, with Yuriko tailing him from the street below. She becomes surprised when he fits himself to a giant kite, hovering in the air. Miyabi rants about his triumph, but Yuriko simply snaps the ribbon controlling the kite - sending the ninja hurling into the distance. Unfortunately he drops some important belongings along the way.

Later! At Maha Ichiban, an exhausted Dark Miyabi sets himself down in a chair, and asks for a water. Dingo notices the man looks a little worse for wear - with all the stray hairs and muffled expression. Miyabi complains he has no energy left. An annoying munching from his side distracts his attention - revealing none other than his prey, Netto Hikari.

Miyabi: hmmn....?
Netto: ....eh?
Miyabi: ...............
Netto: .................
Miyabi: UUOO!
Netto: DARK MIYABI!
Miyabi: Hikari Netto! What are you doing here?!

Netto explains that he's there for the curry of course, but asks in return "and why are YOU here?!". About that time Miyabi notices Netto's PET laying on the counter, and immediatly pulls out his kunai. Vowing his wrath, Netto suddenly pipes up that Rockman is currently at Higureya. Rats, foiled again!

Miyabi grunts and sits himself back into his chair. Chisao and Dingo are interested in how Netto knows Miyabi so familiarly. Netto doesn't know quite how to put it...but describes Miyabi as a past enemy. Miyabi doesn't seem to want to explain things any clearer for the group, much to their annoyance.

Moving on, Netto points out how much he likes the curry. He praises Dekao's cooking, as does Dingo, who has been watching him diligently. Netto goes into a speech, which ends in the mentioning of "partners", catching Miyabi's attention once again. "You're a partner of the crest too, right?" asks Netto. Miyabi looks bitter, but then much to his embarassment, his stomach growls.

Dekao realizes that he is in fact hungry, and asks if he wants to buy a plate of curry. Miyabi's obviously interested, but it seems he lost his entire wallet when he got flung off with the kite. Miyabi stares at the floor, until Netto cheerfully offers him a coupon for a free plate. Asking him to please take it, Miyabi only frowns and stands to leave. Netto calls after him as Miyabi silently leaves the resturaunt.

Miyabi turns into an alleyway, mumbling about curry and partners. He re-determines himself to complete the job he was given, much to Shadowman's delight. He then fades away into the sunset.

Later that night, Miyabi is finally reunited with his lost wallet, which he finds laying in the middle of the street. He suddenly becomes aware of a bright blue light from nearby, and is astonished to see Asteroid Swordman form in the real world.

An oncoming car approaches Swordman, and the navi slices it into two clean halves. It seems the vehicle was carrying his favourite thing - money. Swordman's weasle of an operator comes out of nowhere and starts scooping up the cash. Miyabi doesn't seem very happy with his fellow ninja, but keeps himself hidden.

Meanwhile, Rockman is ushering Netto to hurry to latest site of disturbance. Just as Netto flashes by on his skates, Miyabi attempts to attack again from behind a tree, only to be distracted by a noise behind him. It seems Dr. Wily got a little clumsy and tipped over his cart of cans.

Miyabi quickly hides the kunai behind his back, as if ashamed. Miyabi asks fairly quickly just why Hikari Netto and Yuriko seem to be so important. [at this point Wily is rather difficult to decipher. If anyone wants to aid in this, feel free.]

It would seem that even Maha Ichiban is still open at these late hours. Dingo's found himself lost on yet another delivery, much to Tomahawkman's dismay. Dingo notices a window, and decides to get a better look at his surroundings. What he sees whatever, is not what he expected. Right there on the street below, is the criminal and his van full of cash.

The guy is conversing with Slur, explaining what a success he's been since he got ahold of Asteroid Swordman. "Why are you so interested in money?", she asks. "To use it for myself", he replies. It seems he rather enjoys causing unrest for others.

Dingo rather freaks out at the situation, and contacts Netto immediatly. Rockman says he'll tell Manabe what's going on, and they should head to join Dingo right away.

Dr. Wily holds out a giant wad of cash towards Miyabi, extending a new offer. However, this only enrages Miyabi, and he destroys the cash with his kunai! "You're awfully strange...", retorts Miyabi. "I don't do my job for money anymore. I am a ninja!" It seems he's rather tired of being used by everyone else, it's his turn to make the decisions for his own life. Wily wonders if he can truly live free, but Miyabi just turns to leave. "Where are you going?", Wily asks. "To defeat Rockman." It seems he still has a score to settle.

The criminal finishes packing away all his cash in the van, and closes the trunk. Suddenly, an order to hault yells out, it's Netto and Dingo! The criminal is surprised at first, but shrugs it off, and pulls out his PET. "Dimensional Chip, Slot In!"

Asteroid Swordman attacks, narrowly missing the two boys. Up above, Dark Miyabi and Dr. Wily are watching the scene unfold. Netto quickly asks for a Dimensional Area, allowing he and Dingo to perform Cross Fusion. "Lets go, Swordman!" yells R Rockman.

R Rock slots in the Custom Sword chip, and swordswips the larger navi. R Tomahawk slings off his tomahawk twice, blistering Swordman back into a wall rather roughly. Swordman retaliates with his Sword Press attack, which the two boys quickly dodge. However, the resulting damage causes the ground to collapse, dropping everyone into a basement from below.

R Tomahawk darts off to the left, and suddenly triggers a trip wire, setting off a large explosion! Unfortunately, R Rock does the dang exact thing as he goes off to the right, ending in a double blast. The criminal drives up in his van next to the boys, boasting about his precious traps. "Actually, you know I'm a ninja too...", he says.

Wasting no time, Swordman leaps in for an attack, forcing R Rock to dodge again. As he lands, he triggers another explosion! The flames and smoke inside the building can be seen from the area around the Dimensional walls, just as Manabe and the police arrive. Meanwhile, Miyabi and Dr. Wily are still watching the aftermath. "What will you do, Miyabi?", Wily asks. Miyabi holds an everlasting grudge against Netto...but as he clentches his fists, the Duo mark begins to shine.

R Rock is flung back by the blast, leaving R Tomahawk to himself. Swordman notices this, and uses his Spiral Sword attack to dredge him on. R Tomahawk shields himself with his weapon, but can't fight back. As he fights for his life, he's slowly being pushed back towards another trip wire.

R Rock yells out Dingo's name, which makes one of the blades home in a new target. R Rock has only moments to activate a sword on his arm, to deflect against the spinning blade now trying to eat him alive as well. Both boys begin to panic as they're both slowly forced towards a set of wires, waiting to explode.

Miyabi is straining himself as he watches the scene below him, unsure of what to do. Dr. Wily digs into his jacket, and pulls out a synchro chip. He then holds it up to Miyabi. "This is my Synchro Chip." [another portion of Wily I can't understand, the man talks too wierd and unclear.] Wily finaly demonstrates to Miyabi the importance of Netto and what they are fighting for. Or at least, Miyabi finds reason enough to grab the chip from Wily and take off immediatly.

Swordman prepares to finish off both R Rock and R Tomahawk...that is until Miyabi leaps down from midair, and slots in the Synchro Chip! R Shadowman flies down, ready to battle!

R Shadowman uses his "Kage no Bushin!" attack to create multiple copies of himself, each one taking care of the spinning blades that were hailing the other two Cross Fusion members. The last copy attacks Swordman deftly from behind! R Shadowman lands in front of R Rock, the multiple forms gathering back into one. "Are you okay, Hikari Netto?!", Miyabi asks the first time with real feeling.

"Miyabi....you.....!" R Rock seems more than a little stunned by this turn of events. However, the battle has not stopped, and R Shadowman finds himself blasted from behind by his old ninja comrade! R Rock becomes absolutely infuriated, and uses the Wind Racket chip to blast the man unconcious.

Also enraged, Swordman uses his "Great Sword!" attack to launch a series of sword swipes. R Shadowman hastily pushes R Rock out of harms way, and endures the full brunt of Swordman's attack, yelling in pain as rips tear across his armor. The tornado of blades around him dissappates, and R Shadowman remains on his feet. In fact, everything went according to plan.

R Shadowman activates the one and only Muramasa sword onto his arm, taking into account his drained HP to power his blade. Swordman is unable to hide his disbelief as R Shadowman swings in for attack, and slices the Asteroid navi cleanly in two, resulting in his own self detonation. Meanwhile, R Rock and R Tomahawk realize just how powerful Miyabi and Shadowman really are.

The Dimensional Area fades, and the criminal is being hailed off to jail by Manabe. Netto gives his sincere thanks to Miyabi, who decided to actually stick around for once. Miyabi replies rather strangely, then steps forward to snipe the free curry coupon out of Netto's vest! It seems it's payment for sparing Rockman. ^_^;

"Don't forget Miyabi! From now on we're partners!", Netto yells.
"Not partners....I am my own man now.", Miyabi thinks rather happily.

Back at Maha Ichiban, Netto is badgering the hell out of Chisao to let him eat some of his food. Chisao's being a runt in not wanting to share, so Netto clamps down on his chopsticks, inhaling whatever food they held. "How mean-chu!" wails little Chisao. "Netto you idiot!"

Meanwhile, Miyabi is sitting a booth, eating his free plate of curry. Course, the loud voices of the bickering boys are irritating the crap out of him. As the scene ends, Miyabi vows his everlasting vengeance against Hikari Netto and Rockman. XD

Uwua, such a fun episode! I was surprised they let Miyabi have such interesting and amusing scenes, but they fit really well. I apologize for the cloudy description in the Miyabi and Wily scenes, perhaps someone else can explain them better than I can. They both talk funny, thus when they're together, my brain kind of implodes.

Also enraged, Swordman uses his "Great Sword!" attack to launch a series of sword swipes. R Shadowman hastily pushes R Rock out of harms way, and endures the full brunt of Swordman's attack, yelling in pain as rips tear across his armor. The tornado of blades around him dissappates, and R Shadowman remains on his feet. In fact, everything went according to plan.

R Shadowman activates the one and only Muramasa sword onto his arm, taking into account his drained HP to power his blade. Swordman is unable to hide his disbelief as R Shadowman swings in for attack, and slices the Asteroid navi cleanly in two, resulting in his own self detonation. Meanwhile, R Rock and R Tomahawk realize just how powerful Miyabi and Shadowman really are.

The Dimensional Area fades, and the criminal is being hailed off to jail by Manabe. Netto gives his sincere thanks to Miyabi, who decided to actually stick around for once. Miyabi replies rather strangely, then steps forward to snipe the free curry coupon out of Netto's vest! It seems it's payment for sparing Rockman. ^_^;

"Don't forget Miyabi! From now on we're partners!", Netto yells.
"Not partners....I am my own man now.", Miyabi thinks rather happily.

Back at Maha Ichiban, Netto is badgering the hell out of Chisao to let him eat some of his food. Chisao's being a runt in not wanting to share, so Netto clamps down on his chopsticks, inhaling whatever food they held. "How mean-chu!" wails little Chisao. "Netto you idiot!"

Meanwhile, Miyabi is sitting a booth, eating his free plate of curry. Course, the loud voices of the bickering boys are irritating the crap out of him. As the scene ends, Miyabi vows his everlasting vengeance against Hikari Netto and Rockman. XD

Uwua, such a fun episode! I was surprised they let Miyabi have such interesting and amusing scenes, but they fit really well. I apologize for the cloudy description in the Miyabi and Wily scenes, perhaps someone else can explain them better than I can. They both talk funny, thus when they're together, my brain kind of implodes.

Sounds like an excellent episode. Miyabi is easily distracted :O ^_^;. I'm still trying to picture what R-Shadowman would look like. Everytime I try he looks very...puffy. Anyway the only team members left are Kero and Higsby. I'd like to see Kero....not Higsby though -_-; .

This episode is already sounding like it'll be a favorite of mine. I'm surprised to see that Miyabi is being semi-treated like a comical character, at least in this one. Cross Fusion Shadowman looks badassical, very 83

I now offcially declare this the best designed cross fusion ever. The white makes it look very cool. The additions under the eyes make him look much more ninjaesque. Has anyone else noticed that most Cross fusions are just plain re-copies of their Navis? Like R Tomohawkman and R Shadowman seem to be copies...same with R Medi. R Rockman and R Blues have some variant of their Navi, same as R Roll. Ah well. ><;

This episode seems rather enjoyable :D. Poor Miyabi having to work with Netto zomg :O. Yuriko! Yay! Its the Matrix VS Ninjas in a climatic battle to the cury!! ^^;

Miyabi sounds like a fun character. o_O He seems like the quiet type, but has some sort of a funny side to him that he doesn't show often. At least that's what I think. He's in denial that he's supposed to be partners with Netto. o__O
