Band of Darkness *Final Chapter added omg*

Alright, another one of my fics. This one takes place after my Lockdown one, just to let you know. First chapter is just a flashback(sort of), so I'll release chapters 1 and 2 right now.

Genre:AA/HU(humor, in case that's the wrong initials)
contains some swearing, gore, fan characters made by myself and Cyclone.EXE, and yes, I did ask her.

Chapter 01:The ultimate battles' end.

10 years ago from the present day...

Two navis stood in a battlefield, both worn out. They had been fighting for days.

One was Ahura Mazda, the all-powerful navi of light and wisdom.

The other was his older brother, Angra Mainyu, the almighty prince of darkness navi.

Ahura Mazda was a navi in a black jumpsuit with a human face. Over his jumpsuit, he had ice blue boots, ice blue gloves, ice blue chest armor, and an ice blue horned helmet. His face had a huge, fresh, scar running down his right eye. His right arm had warped into his ultimate weapon, a huge cannon called "Final Impact."

Angra Mainu was a navi with a black jumpsuit with green lines running down it. His elbows, shoulders, and kneecaps had black spiked fins coming out of them. His helmet was a black skull, but the mouth was opened wide enough to show his face through it. He had red eyes. His skull helmet had three spikes coming out of it. His arms were huge, gigantic talon-like claws. He had yet to use his ultimate weapon.

"So, I guess this next move is the last of our battle." Ahura said.

Angra replied "Yep. Looks like this will all be over soon."

Ahura laughed. "Guess this is our last moment ever, huh, brother?" He said, drawing out the emphasis on the last word.

Angra smirked evily and rushed towards his brother with his humongous claws drawn.

"Reaper Talons!" He shouted, and his claws started bleeding, and becoming sharper. He swung them down on Ahura, grasping him and slicing into him.

Ahura struggled in Angra's grip. He opened his palm and launched a small energy blast into Angra's chest. It surprised him and he released his grip on Ahura.

Ahura aimed his Final Impact at Angra, and shouted "Twisted Flow!!" A huge, glowing beam that slithered like a snake towards Angra. It moved fast and Angra couldn't dodged it, and the beam hit him, severely wounding him.

Angra lay on the ground, grunting. He looked up to see his younger brother aiming Final Impact at him.

"Good bye, onii-chan." Ahura said sarcastically. Then he chanted an ancient spell, and launched a energy wave over Angra.

It formed into an ancient seal, and Angra was behind it. Ahura looked at the seal, smiling.

"Hah...it's over." He said, relieved. His Final Impact warped back into his right arm. He walked away from the battlezone and the seal, smirking.

"Maybe the Net-and the world-can live in peace now that my brother is gone." He said.

Ahura created an even larger seal over the area.

"Good bye forever, Angra." Ahura said.

Chapter 02:Current Era, Untouchable Navi

Rockman, Blues, Roll, Cyclone, Glyde, Gutsman, Trill, and Iceman all guarded Yumlands' King.

He was the next target on the list of murders, as the assasin had indicated from his letter sent to the King. All of them had signed up for the job, as well as their respective operators.

"He should be here in 10 seconds, de gutsu." Gutsman said.

10 seconds passed.

Then 5 more before they heard someone say "Well, I wasn't expecting to find guards."

The owner of the voice stepped in. He was wearing white clothing, and had purple hair that went down and extended like a fan when it reached the bottom of his neck. Part of it covered his right eye, only his left eye showing. The pupil was red. If it weren't for the navis' voice, he could've been confused as a female.

"I am Lumine.EXE, a new-generation navi." He said, smiling evilly.

"And if you expect me to give up because I'm outnumbered, then you're dead wrong."

"Than we have no choice!" Rockman said and blasted at Lumine.

Lumine barely moved and yet he dodged the blast easily. Faster than the naked eye could see, Lumine moved up to Glyde.

He glowed green and shouted "Youdantotsu!!!" And launched a barrage of punches into Glyde, logging him out.

He turned and glowed amber, than placed his hands to the ground.

Lumine shouted "Full Wave!!!" And several purple crystal structures appeared on the ceiling, on the ground, even in midair, and started flying towards everyone, and they kept coming.

Everyone kept dodging them, not being able to stop and attack. Iceman got slammed into a wall really hard by one and was logged out.

After awhile, they stopped coming. Lumine laughed.

"I expected more of a challenge." He said, and glowed black.

He held up one arm and a blackish-purple aura appeared around it. He swung his arm in a slicing motion, and as he did, the aura became a gigantic scythe-like blade.

He wiped out Gutsman, Roll, Trill, and Cyclone. Gutsman, Cyclone, Roll, and Trill couldn't log out.

"Roll! Cyclone!!" Rockman said, and Blues shouted "Trill!" Both of the navis ran to their female friends, while Gutsman rushed at Lumine.

Lumine gripped Gutsmans' arm.

"You really think you can defeat me?" Lumine said, and twisted Gutsmans' arm. Gutsman shouted out in pain.

"Gutsman!!!" Everyone shouted.

Lumine tossed Gutsman away and started to charge up. He extended his arm out towards our heroes. "Death awaits you." Lumine said.

"Lumine, stop!" A voice said.

"Why?!?" Lumine asked.

"Our prime focus is Yumlands' King. Don't waste time on the others!!!" The voice said.

Lumine nodded. "Understood." He said, and aimed his palm to Yumlands' King.

"Please...don't delete me!" He said.

Lumine rushed towards the King, but a hail of bullets stopped him short.

"Blast! Who the hell dares..." He said, looking in the direction of his attacker.

The navi who attacked him was wearing white spandex with blueish-black boots, gauntlets, chest armor, shoulderpads, and chest armor with a blue crystal in it. His helmet was blueish-black, red, white, with another blue crystal in it as well. His brown, spiked hair stuck out from the back. He had green eyes, and two handguns that showed were capable of rapid fire. He was hovering due to jets in his boots.

"You're so determined to create that new-age of yours, aren't you, Lumine?" The navi said, grinning.

"Grr...Axl, you bastard." Lumine said.

"Is there a problem?" The voice asked.

"We need to retreat. I know this navi. He's powerful." Lumine said.

"Alright." The voice said, and Lumine logged out.

"Yeah, you better run, homo!" Axl said.

He turned to our heroes. "Everything okay over here?" He asked. He was still smiling.

Rock nodded.

"Damaged, yes, but okay." He said.

Axl walked over to them. "You guys need healing. You should log out right away." He said.

Everyone nodded and logged out except for Rock and Blues.

"Um, one question. Why did you save us?" Netto asked.

"I've fought Lumine before. He's trying to eliminate all old-style navis-along with his netop-and weak humans." Axl replied.

"Plus, you remind me of a friend of mine. His name was X." He added to Rockman.

"I'll make sure the King remains safe. You guys take care of yourselves." Axl said.

Blues and Rockman nodded, and logged out.

"Lumine, who is Axl?" Fuyuki asked. He was perplexed about this mysterious navi.

"He's a prototype of new-generation navis. I've fought with him and his companions before. They're insanely strong." Lumine said.

Fuyuki looked up. "I see. With him in the way, we'll never reach the new age. Lumine, can you scan the area for new-generation navis?" He said.

Lumine appeared in the real world.

"There's one in this area." Lumine said.

"Alright. We must force him to join us." Fuyuki said.

"Why do that when we can have him cooperate?" Lumine replied.

Fuyuki turned around and saw him holding a dark chip.

"Of course. Why waste valuable energy?" Fuyuki said, grinning evily.

Chapter 03:Sigma invades a hangout

The new-generation navi in question was bald, wearing awkward clothing, had pupiless eyes, and had a gem in the middle of his forehead. At the moment, he was destroying several viruses.

"Don't you get tired of fighting weak creatures?" A voice asked. The navi turned to see Lumine.

"Who are you?" The navi asked suspiciously.

"My name is Lumine. And you are Sigma, I presume?" Lumine replied.

"Yes. Why should it matter to you?" Sigma replied.

Lumine extended his hand, a darkchip resting in it.

"I can grant you ultimate power, at the cost of you joining me and my netop in bringing about the age of new-generation navis." Lumine said, the darkchip slowly floating out of his hands towards Sigma.

It stopped in front of Sigma. Sigma grabbed it out of curiosity, and then it slowly spread into him. He screamed and glowed black, his body shifting. When the light vanished, Sigmas' body was now black and blocky, with several green parts that weren't armored by the black sticking out. His head was shaped slightly like Duos' but blacker. He now had a large sword made of the same data as his armor, but with a huge glowing green blade. Sigma smirked viciously.

"Yes. I suppose I could use all of this power." He said.

Lumine smiled. "Perfect."

"Geez, those were some incredible navis." Netto said.

"Yeah. We would've been finished if it weren't for Axl." Rockman said.

"I wonder what he meant by new-generation navi?" Netto said.

"You slept through that lesson in school as well, didn't you?" Rockman said.

"We had a lesson about that?" Netto asked. Rockman sighed.

"Yes, Netto. SciLab has just developed new types of navis that can copy other types of DNA from viruses, generic navis, and programs, and use that DNA to transform into a copy. They could also appear in the real world without a dimensional area. They're still making navis without that function, so we aren't going to be replaced." Rockman said.

Netto shook his head in frustration. "Dammit! Why do I fall asleep in all of the cool lessons?" He said.

"Because you have the attention span of a dead person?" Rockman asked.

"Very funny Rock." Netto said.

"You know what we need to do now?"

"What, Netto-kun?"

"Train hard so we become stronger than Axl or Lumine!!!" Netto grabbed Rockmans' PET and ran out the door.

He was just about to leave for SciLab when he heard someone shout "Netto!!!"

He turned to see Katya running up to him.

"Oh, hi Katya." He said. Katya stopped in front of him, panted and waved hi.

"So, what's going on?" Netto asked.

Katya got up, straightened her skirt, and said "There's a club that they opened up this really cool club for strong people only. I figured why don't we try going? Everyone else is already there"

Netto smiled. "Strong people, huh?"

The two friends arrived on Beach Street, where Katya pulled Netto to the club entrance. It was a small dome.

"Doesn't look like much." Netto said.

"I think this is just the entrance." She said.

Netto shrugged, knocked on the door, and waited. A panel slid open and two eyes poked out very old-school like.

"This is for strong netbattlers only." A voice said.

"We're strong!" Netto said.

"Yeah! I could probably wipe the floor with you in a netbattle!" Katya said.

"Prove it." The eyes said, and looked towards a plug in port.

The two friends plugged in. Cyclone and Rock appeared in a small battlegrid. A limber navi jumped down. His face was masked, only his eyes visible. He had a tall frame, but had muscles as well. His cybersuit looked spanish. One arm had a claw.

"If you can defeat Vega.EXE, you can come in." The voice said.

Rock and Cyclone looked at eachother and burst out laughing. For a normal navi, this might've been hard, but for them, too easy.

Vega jumped up and did a dive claw attack. Cyclone and Rockman aimed their buster at Vega and unleashed a charge shot. It wiped the navi out easily.

The door opened, and the bouncer inside said "You are now allowed to enter."

Katya and Netto plugged their navis out and ran down the stairs. When they reached the downstairs, they gasped.

The place was huge. They couldn't even see the other side of the huge room. It was like a huge nightclub. Then both of them saw their friends their as well. Even Enzan was there.

They walked over to their friends.

"Hi guys!" Netto said.

"You actually showed up." Enzan said.

"True, you guys are always the last ones to any gatherings we have." Tohru said.

Katya and Netto's heads drooped, while Cyclone and Rockman laughed silently.

Both of them sat down, and the friends started talking about random things, overall enjoying themselves.

It was then that Netto noticed the kareoke and the fact that anyone could get up and sing.

"Hey, Enzan. Why don't you go up and sing?" Netto said.

"What?!?" Enzan replied shocked.

"Yeah, we've never heard you try to before!" Meiru said.

"I don't sing." Enzan said.

"You should see him try to dance." Blues whispered to Trill. Trill burst out laughing.

"C'mon, go up!" Lauren said.

Netto shoved Enzan up to the kareoke. Enzan started to protest, but he gave up. Looking through the kareoke songs, he found one he wanted.

"This song is dedicated to my friend, Kamoka Lauren." He said, and pressed play.

Lauren blushed. The music started up, and Enzan sang very loudly into the mic:

She's a very special giiirl...
The kind you don't take home to mother...
She will never let your spirits down...
Once you get her off the streets...

Lauren stared slack-jawed as Enzan started to sing 'Super Freak." Everyone else started laughing, not only due to the fact that Enzan was singing the song about Lauren, but the fact that he sounded exactly like Rick James when he sang.

That girl is pretty wild now,
That girl's a super freak!

Everyone kept laughing, except for Lauren. Enzan finished the song, and sat back down.

"That was AWESOME!!!" Netto said, and slapped Enzan high-five.

"Did you know he could do that?" Rockman asked Blues.

Blues shook his head no.

"Oh Enzan..." Lauren said. Enzan turned and his eyes widened, but he couldn't do anything before Lauren smacked him upside the head with her guitar that she brought along.

Netto jumped up on stage. "My turn!" He said and pressed play.

"This one is for Enzan and Lauren." He said.

Everyone smiled, knowing what was coming. Netto sang into the mic:

My friends' got a girlfriend and he hates that bitch,
He tells me everyday...
He says 'Man I really gotta lose my chick,' in the worst, kind of way...
She sits on her ass, he works his hand to the bone,

Netto spun the microphone easily between his fingers, and tossed it back into the slot deftly. He walked back to his seat. Everyone except Lauren and Enzan were laughing.

"Netto...that was...so awesome!!!" Dekao said in between laughs.

"Can't...breath..." Yaito said.

Katya slapped Netto high-five. Lauren grabbed her guitar and kept smacking Netto very hard with it.

"Lemme see that for a moment." Enzan said.

Lauren handed Enzan the guitar, and Enzan proceeded to beat the crap out of Netto. At that moment, an alarm went off. People started to plug-in their navis.

"I'm guessing we're under attack?" Katya said.

Netto rubbed his throbbing head. "Yeah, that's a pretty good estimate."

Everyone plugged in their navis. They all saw Sigma destroying the system. He sensed their presence as well.

"So, someone has to interfere with me, do they?" He said, turning around.

All of the navis gasped. None of them had ever seen such a freaky-looking navi.

He held up his sword and vanished. Everyone looked around.

"Arch Divide!" Someone shouted from above.

Everyone looked up to see Sigma fall down with his sword out. He sliced half of the generic navis up front. Sigma got back up. Then he held out his hand.

"Ready to die?" He asked.

"No way! I won't die!!!" Gutsman replied.

"MegaGuts Fist! Slot-in!!!" Dekao said, inserting the battlechip.

Gutsmans' fist grew large, and he rushed at Sigma.

Sigma grinned and said "Eclipse Ray!" Before shooting out three fast moving glowing rings.

A normal navi could easily get through the rings, but Gutsman, being the largest navi there, got smacked by all the rings.

Sigma kept pelting him with Eclipse Rays, and whenever the other navis tried to help, Sigma would aim at them, shooting 9 rings at a time.

Eventually Gutsman had to log-out. Sigma raised his sword to attack but felt a soft tapping-feeling on his back.

He glanced behind himself to see a normal navi shooting him with normal buster shots.

"Die, evil villain!" The navi shouted.

"You fool! Stop it!!" Blues shouted, but Sigma vanished.

Someone shouted "Phantom Divide!"

This was the same exact attack as Arch Divide, but Sigma split into millions of copies of himself, slicing every navi in the network.

All generic navis were deleted, and the rest of the heroes got hurt. Rockman got up slowly to see Sigma slowly holding up his sword.

"Prepare to be deleted!" Sigma said.

Rockman narrowed his eyes into a slit.

"Just where do you get off, deleting innocent navis?" He asked.

The question confused Sigma for a moment, giving Rockman enough time to get up and go SaitoStyle.

"Netto-kun! Give me a P.A." Rockman said.

Netto nodded and put in 4 chips.

"Salamander! Bolt! Gaiablade! Fountain! Slot-in!" He shouted.

"MasterStyle! Execute!"

Rockman glowed and split into all four of his styles. Each one attacked Sigma with their respective elemental chips, and then they fused back into SaitoStyle. He created a gigantic ChargeShot and launched it at Sigma.

It hit Sigma head on and he fell down.

"Gah...I need to go to a place where you can't go..." He said, and vanished.

Sigma appeared in the real world, in the club.

"Guess who?!?" He said, smirking, and used Arch Divide, destroying several parts of the club.

Nearly all of the people ran away to safety. Only Tohru, Meiru, Katya, Enzan, Lauren, Dekao, Netto, and Meiru remained.

Sigma used Phantom Divide to try to destroy them all. Enzan opened his PET and activated the phone program.

After three dial tones, someone answered "This is Meijin."

"This is Enzan. We need a dimensional area. We're being chased by a crazed navi as I speak." Enzan said.

"What? How could a navi be in the real world without a dimensional area?"

"He's here because he's new-generation, and my arm just got a pretty nasty slash mark from his blade as I was running from him, and it hurts like hell. Seems real enough for me, so put up a dimensional area!!!"

"Hmm...good point. Okay, doing so."

Soon, a glimmering dome appeared over the area. Everyone inserted a synchro chip except for Dekao, who couldn't CrossFuse, so he ran for shelter in one of the buildings.

Sigma seemed surprised. "I didn't know all of you could do that...I may need some assistance. Master!!!" He said.

R.Lumine appeared. "Yes?" He asked.

"Lumine!!!" R.Rockman shouted.

"So, you're the cause of the problem." Lumine said bitterly to R.Rockman.

"How are these weaklings defeating you, Sigma?" He asked Sigma.

"I don't know...They seemed easy, until one of them turned into something called SaitoStyle...and then this dome popped up."

Lumines' eyes widened. "SaitoStyle? I see."

He tossed Sigma a darkchip. Then he floated up to watch the scene. Sigma absorbed the darkchips' powers, and then smashed his arm into the ground.

"GAMMA!!!" He shouted, creating a glistening red dome, that kept expanding.

There was nowhere to run, and it smacked into all of the teens. They went flying into the edges of the dimensional area.

Sigma smashed his arm into the ground again, this time shouting "BETA!!!" A larger, gold glistening dome appeared and hit the teens again, this time critically injuring R.Iceman and R.Trill.

"Crap!!! R.Rockman said.

"Meiru! Take them somewhere safe and start healing them!" R.Rockman said.

R.Roll nodded and took both of her injured friends to a safe spot.

Sigma held out his hand and it glowed red.

"Blazing Line!" He shouted. He shot a red line into the ground, leaving an indent as it moved. The line moved directly under R.Rockman.

"What are you trying to do? Intimidate me?" R.Rockman asked.

The indent from the ground suddenly shot into a gigantic blaze. Then it vanished.

"Netto, you okay?" R.Cyclone asked.

"I feel like steak on a barbecue." R.Rockman replied.

"He can still crack jokes. He's fine." R.Blues said.

R.Lumine landed next to Sigma.

"Allow us to show you our unison attack!" Sigma said.

Both of them held out their hand, and both glowed red.

"Double Blazing Line!" Both shouted, and launched two red lines leaving indents towards the heroes, but the lines formed a circle around them.

The lines caught on fire, and the flames moved closer to the teens.

"Oh, shitty." R.Rockman said.

"Netto, I don't think rapid cursing will help us out." Rockman said.

"I wasn't rapidly cursing." R.Rockman said.

"Knowing you, it would only be a matter of time." R.Cyclone said.

Then she held up her hand.

"Time to test out a new attack I learned!" She said.

A small glowing, slightly green orb appeared in her hands. She threw the orb down, and a huge tornado appeared around the teens. Not only did it get rid of the intense heat, but it blew out the flames as well.

Sigma said "Damn, those kids are annoying."

R.Lumine floated back up. Sigma held up his hand and charged his energy.

"ALPHA!!!" He shouted, and smashed his hands into the ground.

This one created a blue glistening dome. It was just about to hit our heroes, when R.Blues said "DarkAura! Sanctuary! Execute!"

The ground started to shine, and a huge aura surrounded the teens. The dome had just enough energy to destroy the aura. Sigma vanished again.

"Rage Divide!" Came his voice from above. He slashed downwards, like normal, but the second he hit the ground, he vanished, and slashed again. He kept doing so for awhile, tiring out the teens and injuring them on occasion.

He landed and shouted "Doom Buster!''

His arm transformed into a huge gun, and he launched it. They narrowly avoided the blast before they heard him shout "Mirage Claw!"

He split into several different copies, one being real, the others illusions. They all rushed towards the teens with swords extended.

"I'm getting real sick of this guy." R.Blues said. R.Cyclone and R.Rockman nodded in agreement.

R.Rockman suddenly got an idea. He stopped his CrossFusion.

"Netto? What are you doing?!?'' R.Cyclone asked.

Netto replied "Hoping this works."

"Sigma! Stop!" R.Lumine shouted.

Sigma didn't stop, so R.Lumine glowed black and used his blade attack on Sigma. Sigma was deleted.

"What? Why'd he do that?" R.Blues asked.

R.Lumine glowed purple this time.

"Gravity Crush!" He shouted, and several huge cubes started falling on the teens.

However, none of them where anywhere near Netto. R.Blues stopped his CrossFusion as well.

R.Lumine looked surprised, and then glowed yellow.

"Optic Crush!" He shouted, and launched several solar energy beams from above down on R.Cyclone only, nowhere near Netto or Enzan.

R.Cyclone got the idea and stopped CrossFusion. R.Lumine blew up the generators for the dimensional area by mistake.

The dome vanished. R.Lumine vanished, not attacking any of the teens.

"See? What'd I tell you?'' Netto said.

"Wierd..why didn't he attack us?" Enzan asked.

"Maybe he's got a moral code?" Katya suggested.

Odd that he didn't attack the humans...I think...and OMG I was laughing my arse off when Enzan and Netto sang...LOL!

*BTW...for future reference, Katya is three years younger then Netto and the group. Not a big issue...just throwin it out there! n.n keep up the good work.*

Yeah...she's really tall for her age...bout the same height as Meiru. I can see how you would have made the mistake of thinking she's also a teenager!

Two chapters for you!

Chapter 04:History revealed

R.Lumine landed on top of a building and switched off CrossFusion.

"Fuyuki, why didn't you kill them?!? They left themselves open!!!" Lumine asked.

"That was my brother. And my best friend. I may be evil, but I'm not going to attack them. The girl...well, I don't know her, but something told me not to attack her..." Fuyuki replied.

Lumine nodded.

My influence of darkness is weakening... He thought.

Lumine glowed and transformed. Fuyuki looked back at his navi.

He had white armor on, a helmet with side fins, and huge wings.

"We must get our goal quickly then, before they interfere, or the new age won't come." the new Lumine said.

Fuyuki nodded. "Nice look, by the way. Is that your ultimate form?" He asked.

Lumine nodded. ''Not even Axl can defeat me alone like this." He said.

Netto recieved an email. He read it with wide eyes.

It said We finally got Shun to wake up. Come to the hospital. I have even more good news. -Dad.

Netto ran out the door and onto the metroline. When he finally reached the hospital, he saw Yuiichiro waiting for him at the front desk.

After exchanging a few quick hellos, Yuiichiro led Netto to Shuns' room.
Shun was in a bed.

Netto walked over. "Hey, Shun. How's it going?" Netto asked.

Shun replied "Fine, really. I don't even feel the backwound anymore. I just have to stay hospitalized for a few more days and I'm outta here. I still can't believe you thought I was dead."

Netto laughed sheepishly. "Yeah...sorry about that." He said.

"Hey, do you guys have Forte with you?" Shun asked.

Yuiichiro held out Shuns' PET. Forte was in it, blindfolded.

"Can I take off this ridiculous blindfold?" He asked.

"Yeah." Shun said.

Forte took off the blindfold and his eyes widened.

"You're alive?" He asked.

"Thanks for pointing out the obvious." Shun said, laughing.

Both Yuiichiro and Netto left the room to give the two good friends some time alone.

"You really thought I was dead?" Shun asked.

Forte nodded. "Sorry."

"It's fine. Just one question."

"Yeah?"

"Is that Gospel?" Shun pointed to Gospel in the corner of the PETs' network. He was sitting.

"Um...yeah...he sorta followed me around like a pet." Forte said.

Shun laughed. "Cool. Now I have two navis...sort of." He said.

"I'm still the original navi!" Forte said.

"Ooh, someone's competetive"

"So what's the other good news?" Netto asked.

"Take a look." Yuiichiro said.

He held out Fuyukis' PET that Netto found at the Lockdown base a month earlier. Apparently Fuyuki had abandoned it when Starman had gotten deleted. Netto looked into it and his eyes widened.

"Hey, Netto. Long time no see." Starman said casually.

"You brought him back?!?" Netto asked excitedly.

Yuiichiro smiled. "It took a long time, but we managed it." He said.

"Now all we need to do is find Fuyuki." Netto said. "But before that...Dad? I need you to tell me everything you know about new-generation navis."

Yuiichiro sat down in a chair. "Sit down. This is gonna be a long one." He said.

Netto sat down.

"Well, this is how it started." Yuiichiro said.

"Basically, we were working on a new kind of navi when Lockdown attacked. At that time, we only had the prototype finished, a navi named Axl. After Lockdown attacked, we successfully created three new-generation navis:Ahura Mazda, Angra Mainyu, and Lumine. All three were perfect, but one day, a new virus called the Maverick Virus infected Lumine and Angra Mainyu."

"Both of them started to destroy everything. We had Ahura Mazda fight against them. Angra Mainyu was Ahura and Lumines' older brother, so Ahura Mazda had a hard time fighting him. But when the virus had completely infected both of the two, they felt hatred towards Ahura, and he felt hatred towards them. Lumine escaped, and we still don't know where he is."

"I know where he is! He has a netop now, we've fought him twice."

Netto interupted.

Yuiichiro sighed. "That isn't good. Lumine can manipulate the darkness in someones' soul due to the Maverick Virus, and that can make someone evil. Who knows who he did it to?''

"Well, continueing on: Ahura fought Angra in a network called the Crimson network. Nobody knows where the main server is for the the Crimson network, so it's often called the Abyss. Either way, Ahura won the battle and sealed off Angra. We've created several new-generation navis now, and we've built up defenses to the Maverick Virus."

Then, there was a loud rumbling.

Netto and Yuiichiro ran outside and gasped. Right in the center of Japan, there was a huge gigantic palace-like structure. there was lots of dark energy swirling around it. And on top of it, the new seraph-like Lumine could be seen, crossfused.

"Behold the Crimson Palace!!!" R.Lumine shouted.

A navi appeared right next to Yuiichiro. "Lumine...what is he scheming?" The navi asked.

"Ahura?!?" Yuiichiro asked. "Why are you here?"

Ahura replied "To make sure my two brothers don't try anything stupid."

"HE'S Ahura Mazda?" Netto asked in amazement.

R.Lumine focused all of the dark energy and made a dimensional area over the entire universe. Starman and Rockman appeared right next to Netto, and Serenade appeared right next to Yuiichiro.

"Bastard..." Starman said.

He leapt towards the palace. Rockman held Netto and did so as well.

Chapter 05:Lumines' downfall

Rockman and Netto landed at the bottom of the palace with Starman. R.Lumine landed down and prepared to attack, but then his eyes widened.

"Starman?!?" He asked, and CrossFusion wore off.

Netto, Rockman, and Starmans' eyes widened at the sight of Lumines' netop.

"Fuyuki?!?" They asked shocked.

"Starman...you're alive!" Fuyuki said, but then Lumine said "Attack, fool!" And poured dark energy into Fuyuki.

Fuyuki fell to his kness, clutching his head. He started shouting in pain.

"So...you've been controlling Fuyuki?" Starman asked.

"I found him wandering around one day. He was confused, and he had murdered millions, so I thought he might be useful. I released his darkness, and became his navi. We would create an age of only new-generation navis. But there was one thing I couldn't get rid of: his memories. And that held me back." Lumine said.

"For an angel, you sure act like a demon." Netto said.

Starman leaned down next to his netop-and friend.

"Fuyuki...share your pain with me!!" Starman said, and hugged Fuyuki.

The dark enegy started to go through him as well. Eventually, it vanished from both of them altogether. Fuyuki finally looked up.

"Starman?" Then he looked over. "Netto? Rockman? I did some pretty bad things, didn't I?" He asked.

"Yeah..." All three of them said.

Fuyuki got up. "I'm sorry...I'll try to fix things up." Then he turned to Lumine, glaring with hatred. "And I'll start by destroying you." He said.

Lumine laughed. "You? Destroy me? Not likely."

"With help from me he can!" A voice said. The voice belonged to Axl.

"Axl!" Rockman said.

"Hey, X-lookalike. How's it going?" Axl asked.

Then he aimed his handguns at Lumine.

"Okay, why are you putting a dimensional area around the whole universe?" He asked.

"It's the easiest way for old-naivs to appear, so I can swoop down and kill them." Lumine replied.

Axl said "Just as I expected. You're freaking insane."

Fuyuki and Netto inserted Synchro Chips into their PETs. Soon, R.Rockman, R.Starman, and Axl were fighting Lumine.

"Lumine attacks in a pattern. Recognize it, and he's easy to beat." Axl said.

Lumine divebombed towards them. They easily dodged it, and Axl unleashed rapid fire on Lumines' back. Lumine turned around.

"Refrain!" He shouted, and started shooting several blue energy beams at the teens and Axl. They dodged these beams as well, and Starman unleashed several Star Arrows at Lumine.

Lumine dodged them, shouted "Legato!" And created several golden rings with a small portion missing from them.

They all went through the rings, but R.Rockman got hit by one. R.Starman jumped over to him. He grabbed him and helped him up.

"Netto, you okay?" He asked. R.Rockman nodded.

Axl switched his weapon to Spiral Magnum, and shot Lumine with the
powerful bullets.

Lumine shouted "Bel Canto!" And launched several golden spears of light at the heroes. Axl dodged it.

"Do one of you guys have a really powerful attack we can use against this guy?" He asked.

R.Starman nodded. R.Starman put R.Rockman down, focused all of his energy, and created a humongous explosion equal to 1000 atomic bombs. Lumine fell down, hurt.

"What was that?!?" R.Rockman asked.

"I call it UltraNova. You like?" R.Starman said, smiling.

"That's the Fuyuki I remember." R.Rockman said.

"Quit talking like that. It makes us sound like a married couple." R.Starman said.

"Right." R.Rockman replied.

Axl charged up his guns and unleashed 9000 bullets at Lumine.

Lumine got hit by all of them, floated up, and shouted "Grave!" Several blue energy bolts homed in on the heroes.

"My turn to do something cool." R.Rockman said.

"Netto? We haven't even perfected this attack yet!" Rockman said.

"It's worth a try."

R.Rockman jumped up and dashed towards Lumine. He dashed so fast he created a huge fire around himself. The now flaming R.Rockman collided with Lumine. This did incredible damage to him.

"Hey, that attack...is it called Nova Strike?" Axl asked.

"Yeah. How'd you know?" R.Rockman replied.

"My friend X could do it as well." Axl explained. He smiled.

"You guys just keep reminding me of him so much. I swear it's more than coincidence." He said.

Lumine got up. "Unison!" He shouted, and several waves of light energy flew out at them.

Axl created a barrier with a technique he called Magic Bullet.

"I think we're winning!" R.Rockman said.

Lumine flew up and shouted "PARADISE LOST!!!!"

The sky got darker and everything started shaking. R.Starman punched R.Rockman.

"Do you have jinx everything?!?" He asked.

"This is bad...we have 30 seconds to beat him before he unleashes his ultimate power, destroying everything." Axl said.

"Then let's not waste them!" R.Starman said.

The three heroes jumped at Lumine. They all started attacking Lumine as Lumine teleported around. With 10 seconds left, Axl tried to attack, but Lumine struck him hard. Axl landed on the ground.

"Axl!" R.Rockman shouted.

He began to glow, and when the glow vanished, CrossFusion wore off. Netto was sitting on the ground, staring at the new soul Rockman had gotten. He looked like a fusion of Axl and himself.

"Woah. X couldn't do that." Axl said.

Rockman pulled out his twin buster guns and rapid fired Lumine. At the final second, Lumine was deleted. Rockman went back to normal.

"It's finally over..." Rockman said.

"Yeah. Lumines' gone for good." Axl said.

"Uh, not really." R.Starman said, pointing.

Lumine was still there, barely, hal of his body deleted, on his torso, head, and right arm remaining.

"This...isn't...over!!!" He said, and blasted a seal on the crimson palace.

Then he was completely deleted. A navi appeared in the remains of the seal. Ahura Mazda appeared next to the heroes.

"No...I'm too late." He said.

"Who is that?" Netto asked.

"Angra Mainyu..." Ahura said in shock.

"That's right, brother. I'm back!" Angra Mainyu said, laughing evilly.

Rockman aimed his guns at Angra, but then his soul unison wore off.

"Oh, shit." Axl said.

Yay Starman indeed! Well, here's two more chapters. w00t!

Chapter 06:Angra Mainyu:The unforgivable dark prince.

Angra Mainyu extended his huge claws out towards Ahura.

"How I wished to destroy you all those years, locked up...they'll finally be a reality!" He said.

Angra jumped up and dashed downwards at Ahura. Ahura dodged the resulting smash.

Rockman powered up his gun to shoot Angra, but Ahura said "Stay out of this! It's my battle!"

Rockman lowered his gun. Ahura pressed his arm against the ground.

"Quiet Sands." He said, and a huge wave of sand appeared out of nowhere and smashed Angra.

Angra burst out of the sands.

"What the hell was that?" He laughed.

"A distraction." Ahura said from above.

He launched a holy-element beam at Angra.

Angra got hit full power. Part of his skull helmet shattered, and he was hurt.

"Bastard!" he shouted, and pushed his talons together.

"Dark Flow!" He said, and a huge wave of destruction slammed into Ahura.

It knocked him down. Ahura landed on his feet, and winced as his leg hurt badly. His arm turned into a large cyberblade that was shining and looked like a cross. He jumped up and his sword shined even greater. So bright everyone had to shield their eyes.

"Grand Cross!" Ahura screamed, and brought the blade down, creating a huge cross shaped slash in the ground.

It hit Angra head on.

He shouted "What is your problem, brother? Why do you hate the darkness?"

Ahura replied "Anyone who tries to destroy peace in this world is what I hate."

"Geez, this is getting real corny." R.Starman said.

Ahuras' right arm turned into Final Impact. One of the armor parts covering his shoulder opened up.

"Divine Ball!'' He shouted, and several fireballs flew out at Angra. He dodged all of them.

"You're getting sloppy, brother!" Angra said.

Then he noticed that Final Impacts' barrel was right next to his face.

"No. You're just stupid." Ahura said. "DIVINE CANNON!!!"

He unleashed a gigantic beam into his brother. When it vanished, Angra was laying on the ground.

"And thus ends his reign of terror." Ahura said.

"Geez, we need some comedy!" Fuyuki said, cancelling out crossfusion.

Axl pulled out his gun and shocked Fuyuki with the Plasma Gun.

"Does that work?" Axl asked.

"I'll let you know as soon as all the static leaves my body." Fuyuki replied.

Angra got up. "I'm not dead yet." He said.

"Oh, and by the way, when Lumine sacrificed himself to free me, that was proof of friendship. Get my drift?"

Everyone realized what it meant. And it scared them.

"That's right, soul unison!!" Angra said, and he glowed.

Several parts of his body gained Lumines' armor or attributes.

"I am now Angra Mainyu:Lumine Soul!!!" Angra said.

"Then I have only one chance!" Ahura said. A green light surrounded him.

"ULTIMA!!!" He shouted.

The green light formed around him to create a sparkling, crackling green orb of light energy. Nobody could see Ahura inside of it. Angra smirked.

"OMEGA!!!" He shouted.

The same thing happened to him as with Ahuras' Ultima, but his orb was dark purple. Both orbs rose off the ground, and they flew around, flying towards eachother and striking eachother. Everytime the struck, a tremor rocked the Earth.

"At this rate, they'll destroy the planet!" Axl said.

Eventually, the orbs collided one last time, and then they vanished. What could be seen was a horrifying sight. Ahura was impaled on one of Angras' enourmous talons. He tossed Ahuras' body off of his claws. Ahura landed right next to Rockman.

"Ahura! Are you okay?" Rockman asked.

Ahura looked up. His expression ws of pain and of despair.

"I'm afraid...he's just more powerful than me." He said.

"I won't make it. That blow was fatal."

Ahura started to glimmer. "However, I suppose you could use my power to destroy him." He said.

Ahura turned into a small ball of light. The ball floated up and shot into Rockmans' chest. Rockman glowed brightly, and when the glow vanished, he had Ahura Mazdas' armor, his buster gun had now become Final Impact, but his face was still the same.

"So, he gave you AhuraSoul?" Angra asked. "Not that it will help."

Rockman looked up. "And that is where you're wrong!!!" He shouted.

Chapter 07:The Crimson Palace goes KABLOOM.

Suddenly, Rockman vanished and reappeared right behind Angra.

"Surprise." He said. "HAIL BULLET!"

Rockman launched a gigantic spiked blast at Angra. It tore off one of his talons.

"Damn you!" Angra said, and swiped towards Rockman.

However, Rockman was no longer there.

"You can't hit what you can't catch." Rockman said from behind Angra again.

"HOLY SPREAD!"

Rockman shot at least 1000 holy element bullets into Angra. They all hurt him worse than getting his arm lobbed off. A huge cybersword popped out of Final Impact.

"Flying Arrow!" Rockman shouted, and dashed at Angra faster than anyone could see again.

This time he sliced off one of Angras' legs. Angra turned around, and, by luck, caught Rockman in his grasp. He squeezed hard around the navis' neck. He brought the squirming navi close to his face.

"What can you do now, little boy blue?" Angra asked.

Rockman stopped struggling, and said "To my eternal shame, this."

He hugged Angra Mainyu.

"Holy Hug!!" He shouted, and holy energy seethed from his body into Angras' very quickly.

Being the prince of darkness, holy energy inside his body was enough to destroy Angra. He screamed and exploded. Rockman floated down.

"A hug? You killed him with a hug?!?" Netto said in disblief.

"You think I wanted to?" Rockman asked.

"It seemed a little gay." Fuyuki said.

"Eh, at least he didn't hug Lumine." Axl said.

Angras' head fell out of nowhere and made everyone scream like schoolgirls.

"Oh, shut up!" Angra said. They all calmed down.

"Sorry, sorta scared us for a moment there." Axl said.

Angra sighed. "Either way, my followers, the Band of Darkness, just recieved a signal from me, and will be wreaking havoc on the Network at any moment." He said.

Axl stepped on Angras' head and shattered it.

"Let's go stop them." Axl said.

The dimensional area vanished, Rockmans' Soul Unison wore off, and Starman and Rockman went back into their PETs. Axl stayed considering he was a new-generation navi, although a prototype, and could appear in the real world regardless.

"First, we need to find you a netop." Starman said.

"Yeah, right. Who'd want a prototype?" Axl said.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. I'm sure their are millions of people who'd want to have you." Rockman said.

"You think?" Axl asked.

"Yep"

"Thanks, X-lookalike."

"Can you just call me Rockman?"

"Sure."

Everyone thought for a moment.

"What about Chisao?" Netto asked.

"No. Too immature." Fuyuki said.

"Enzans' Dad?" Rockman asked.

"He's dead, remember?" Starman reminded him.

"Mom?'' Fuyuki asked.

Everyone was silent.

"Umm...Axl?" Rockman asked.

"Yeah, Rockman?"

"Do you mind if we give you to our mother as a navi?"

"Well...it's seems awkward, but okay."

"Just one thing left to do." Fuyuki said.

He pointed to the Crimson Palace.

"We need to make that go 'bang.'"

Axl, Fuyuki, and Netto all planted bombs on the castle, while Rockman and Starman planted bombs in the network. Oddly enough, Fuyuki found a black PET in the palace. They all decided this would be Axls' PET. They ended up at the top of the palace.

"Good. Now all we have to do is get off this palace and detonate the bombs." Fuyuki said.

"What detonator?" Netto asked.

"You mean those are time bombs?" Fuyuki said in dismay.

"Guess we didn't really think this out too well." Netto said.

Fuyuki bashed his head against the floor. "Great. This palace is gonna have the shit blown out of it, and we're trapped in it." He said.

"Problem solved." Axl said.

He shot open a window, and grabbed Fuyuki and Netto.

"Hold onto your PETs tightly." He said.

Both of them clipped their PETs onto themselves.

"Or do that."

Axl grabbed them and jumped out the window, and hovered to the ground. Just as they reached it, the palace exploded. The huge shockwave sent everyone flying. Fuyuki hit the ground first, while Netto landed on top of him, in a position where he was sitting on Fuyukis' head, and Axl landed on top of Netto.

It was silent for a moment.

"Get your ass off my face." Fuyuki said to Netto.

"Get your face off my ass!" Netto said.

They all got off of eachother. Axl looked at the smoldering remains of the palace.

"What a lovely shade of bitch." He said.

"That made no sense." Starman said.

Axl went into his PET.

"Wow. This place needs some serious Feng Shui." He said.

Netto grabbed Axls' PET and ran off.

1 week later...

Things seemed to have settled down a bit. Everyone had welcomed Fuyuki, Starman, Shun, and Forte back, as well as Gospel for the first time.

The two teens and the navis told everyone about Angra Mainyus' final words about his Band of Darkness.

Recently, all dimensional area generators broke down beyond repair, so their would be no more crossfusing or navis appearing in the real world.

The only new-generation navi left was Axl, who was now Hikari Harukas' personal navi. Everything was just normal when it happened.

Fuyukis' computer was being attacked. When he plugged Starman in, they saw a strange navi.

He was hunched over, and made completely out of volcanic rock. He was also flaming. His head was a flaming cobra head.

"Woah, that's just wrong." Starman said.

The navi turned to face Starman.

"I am the Druj, one of the loyal followers of Angra Mainyu and a member of the Band of Darkness!" It said in a deep, hissing voice.

"So you're part of the Band of Darkness, huh?" Starman said.

"Hate to tell ya, but Angra Mainyu got wiped out long ago."

"I know. And I am fufilling his dream: Chaos and destruction everywhere." Druj said.

He bowed his head to honor his master, even though he wasn't there.

"Well, I have to destroy you so you don't screw up my friends computer." Starman said.

Druj held out his finger and made a gesture for Starman to come near him.

"Bring it!" Druj hissed.

Starman smirked. "Thought you'd never ask."

*looks at clock* Aw dammit! Well, here's the chapter anyways.

Chapter 08:Law of the Band

Starman rushed at Druj, his Star Arrows out and ready. However, when Starman shot them all, Druj created a wall in front of everything.

The arrows bounced off and the wall vanished. Druj opened his serpent mouth and launched a green laser out at Starman.

Starman dodged it and listened to it sizzle underneath him.

"Damn..." He said.

He landed and had to dodge again because another laser was coming his way. Druj placed his hand on the ground.

"Faust." He hissed, and a huge, skeletal hand rose up underneath Starman and gripped him.

Then Druj nailed Starman with another laser. Starman finally got free from the hand, and destroyed it with a meteor. Then he slashed the air with his star tentacle.

It created a crescent-like blade, which shot out towards Druj, striking him head on. Druj got knocked back.

"Finally." Starman commented.

Druj got up and shot a twisting energy spear out of his hands.

Starman dodged it, but the spiraling winds from it stil caught him and shot him upwards.

"Recov300! Slot-in!" Fuyuki said, putting the chip in.

Starman was instantly healed. Then he landed on his feet.

"Shame." Druj said, and glowed black.

"I know. It's shameful how weak you are." Starman said.

Then a huge black energybolt struck him and shocked him down to critical status. Fuyuki checked his PET.

"1 HP? Damn." He said.

"Okay, I guess it's not that shameful." Starman said.

"Recov300! HolyPanel! Sanctuary! Slot-in!" Fuyuki said.

A window popped up on the PET.

"What happened?" Starman asked, hearing the beeps and dodgind more lasers.

"We just discovered a Program Advance." Fuyuki said.

"Then use it already!"

"Okay, okay! Geez..."

Fuyuki activated the new program advance.

"HolyHealing!" He said.

Starman was healed to full health, recieved a DreamAura, an AntiDamage, and he started glowing green, meaning temporary invincibility.

"I can work with this." Starman said, smirking. "Hey Druj! You're screwed!"

Druj hissed "Quit talking the talk and start walking the walk!"

Starman pretended to double-over in pain. "GAH!! Overused action movie lines! Have mercy!!!" He said.

Druj hissed and dashed at Starman. Starman got up and disappeared. He reappeared behind Druj and wrapped his star tentacle around him. Then he jammed a Star Arrow in Druj's eye.

"Up yours!" Starman said. Druj hissed.

"Black Night!" He shouted.

Soon, everything became pitch black. Starman couldn't see anything in the PC, and neither could Fuyuki.

"Starman? What's going on in there?" Fuyuki asked.

"That slippery bastard got free from my grip." Starman replied.

"Look for flames. He shouldn't be hard to find." Fuyuki said.

"I can't even see the flames! What did he do to me?" Starman said.

They both heard Druj hiss out the words "Ebon Blade!" Then lots of slashing, and Starman screaming out in pain.

"Starman!" Fuyuki shouted, but nothing happened.

Then, Druj hissed "Shadow Serpent!"

This was the one thing Fuyuki saw. A black, but slightly lighter than the darkness in the PC, appeared. It had four, glaring red eyes, and it had six large pincers.

The serpent flew into the darkness and wrapped around something, probably Starman.

This theory became correct, when Fuyuki heard Starman shout "Ah! What's this thing wrapped around me!"

Fuyuki then got an idea.

"Starman! Use UltraNova!"

Fuyuki heard the sound of energy charging, followed by a huge explosion and lots of light. Not only did the shadow serpent get deleted, but the darkness vanished. Starman saw Druj over in a corner.

"Got ya!" Starman said and ran Druj through with a cybersword, shot him with at least 8 Star Arrows, smashed him with a meteor, and shot another crescent-shaped blade out.

Druj fell to the ground. Starman walked over to him. He bent down so he was face to face with Druj.

"Go scurry back to the Band of Darkness, and tell them that we aren't screwing around, okay?" He said.

Druj replied "Not possible. The Band doesn't allow those who fail to return alive."

Then, Druj started to glow. Fuyuki knew what was happening.

"Starman, run!"

Starman dashed away just in time as Druj exploded. Both of them watched the smoldering pile of data vanish slowly.

"That was wierd."

Chapter 09, now with 20% more gore, explosions, and awkwardly named navis who attack the heroes.

Chapter 09:Two band members

Some time after Fuyukis' PC was attacked, Katyas' was as well. Cyclone plugged in and checked it out, when she saw a wierd navi.

The navis' body was made completely out of a gel-like substance. The gel was a radioactive green color, and it was glowing. The gel was shaped like a navi. The navis' armor looked like quickmans, almost. The face, however, was replaced by just two glowing eyes.

"What is that?" Katya asked.

"It looks wierd." Cyclone said.

"Well, let's find out. Scanner! Slot-in!" Katya said.

A small eyepiece appeared over Cyclones' right eye.

"The only thing the scanner says is Akem, Band of Darkness." Cyclone announced.

Katya said "It's a Band of Darkness member? Then let's get rid of it before it messes up my computer."

Cyclone nodded. Akem launched a huge blast of gel off of itself.

Cyclone dodged it and watched as it melted some of the data in the PC.

"Great. We can't attack it head on or I'll disintegrate." Cyclone said.

"Well, look for a weak spot." Katya said.

Cyclone looked around and saw a small heart made from data beating gently inside of it.

"Found it!" She said.

Her arm morphed into a cybersword. Cyclone ran at it again and tried to stab the heart, but Akem launched more gel on her. This time the gel hit Cyclone. Luckily, this gel wasn't meant to dissolve her, just contain her.

Cyclone thrashed around in it.

"Greeeaaat." Cyclone said. "Katya? A little help?"

Katya nodded and said "AreaSteal! Slot-in!"

Cyclone vanished from within the goo, and reappeared right next to Akem. She created a cyclone right underneath Akem. It whipped him up and he lost his form.

The gel landed back down. Cyclone got the cybersword out again and aimed towards the heart of the gel. However, right when she stabbed downwards, the gel swerved away and resumed another form.

It was a the shape of HeatGuts Rockman, but his face was only glowing eyes like his old form.

"Now he's just running out of ideas." Katya said, and Cyclone nodded.

He raised his giant fist and smashed the ground. A huge piece of rock flew up and hurtled down at Cyclone.

"Oh crap." Cyclone said. Then she grinned.

"Oh yeah. Wind."

Cyclone created a huge wind force and blew the rock back at Akem. It splattered him against the wall. The gel dropped down onto the floor again and formed into back into his original form, a goo dragon.

Cyclone shot a chargeshot towards the heart. The shot bounced off. Akem smashed his head into the ground, and several blades started rising up from the ground.

Cyclone easily dodged them, but then she got hit by a green goo blade heading towards her. She fell to the ground with a sickening thump.

"Katya? Tell me we have a weapon we haven't used against this guy yet." Cyclone said.

"How about that chip we got from that one navi?" Katya said.

"It's worth a shot."

Akem created a purple aura and flung it at Cyclone. She dodged it.

"Freezeray! Slot-in!" Katya said.

Cyclone created a tornado and launched it at Akem. Combined with Freezeray, it was ice element, and therefore froze him. Cyclone jumped up and shattered the navi with a powerful kick attack. Then she grabbed the heart and deleted it.

Akems' shattered body exploded.

"That was...awkward." Cyclone said.

"From now on, we don't fight any navis made from gelatin." Katya said.

Sometime after Akem attacked Katyas' PC, the oven in the Hikari household stopped working.

"Axl, could you go check on everything?" Haruka asked.

"Sure. Plug me in, I'll go delete those viruses easily." Axl replied.

Haruka plugged Axl in. Axl looked around.

"Seems normal..."

Then he stopped and his eyes widened.

"That might be the problem." He said.

What he was looking at was a navi. The navi had armor made from several deleted navis, and a cloak and hood on as well. He had a gigantic, black scythe that pulsed. His face was human, but his eyes looked very evil, and he had fangs. He was grinning very evilly.

"You...you're Dush-Kshathra of the Band of Darkness, aren't you?" Axl asked.

"Axl...long time no see." Kshathra said. "It's such a shame I have to delete you."

Axl pulled out his guns. "Yeah, right." He said.

Kshathra held out his palm. A black flame rested in it. The black flame morped into a gigantic flaming dragon that rushed towards Axl.

Axl slowly and deftly shot 5 ice elemental shots into the dragon. The dragon froze and shattered after hitting the ground. Then Axl jumped over Kshathra and started blasting him repeatedly.

He landed and unleashed a chargeshot from both handguns into Kshathra. Kshathra was sent flying. He got up. His face was bleeding out cyberblood like crazy, but the even crazier part was Kshathra was laughing.

"Yes...fight me!" He said, and licked his own blood off of his face and scythe.

"Dude, that's disgusting." Axl said and pulled out his Bound Blaster.

He fired three shots and switched back to his normal handgun, but the shots missed. Kshathra leapt up and his scythe glowed.

"Sequence!" He shouted, and unleashed a quick combo of scythe blows to Axl. They all hit.

"Urgh...touche' Kshathra." Axl said. "But I'm still better."

Suddenly, Kshathra realized he had been hit. He grinned.

"You've improved since we last sparred, Axl." He said. "Ravage!"

Kshathra stabbed his scythe into the ground, and a huge wave of darkness flew up at Axl. Axl used Magic Bullet to protect himself.

He immidiately removed the barrier and shot a gigantic plasma blast into Kshathra. Kshathra laughed and dashed at Axl.

Axl was ready to counter, but he missed. The result was Kshathra dug his scythe into Axls' back. Axl shouted out in pain.

Kshathra cackled and removed the scythe from Axls' back. He licked Axls' blood off his scythe.

"Yes...your pain is the best I've tasted ever." He said.

''You are a sick bastard." Axl said, and blasted Kshathra again.

Kshatra immidiately recovered, and shouted "Red Spinner!"

He slit his own chest, let the blood flow onto his scythe, and threw it towards Axl. The scythe spun so fast it looked like a giant spinning red disc. Axl jumped it.

"Die, damn you!" He said, and launched a gigantic chargeshot into Kshathra. Kshathra fell down, limp, his cloak coveing him. Axl pointed a gun to Kshathra.

"Now feel deletion."

A horrible stabbing sound could be heard. Kshatra got up to reveal he had stabbed himself with a cybersword.

"I'll enter the gentle embrace of death myself!" He said, laughing. He exploded a second later.

Axl said "Problem solved!" And logged out.

Chapter 10: Band of Darkness, nearly deleted.

Sometime after Axl deleted Dush-Kshathra, A mysterious navi appeared in Enzans' PC. Blues plugged in to terminate the navi.

The navi was a huge, shadowy cat whose body was see through and dark purple. His feet and hands were flaming orange and yellow, as well as his ears. His tail had it as well. The navis eyes were yellow and luminous, with no pupils. The cat was very limber and had small muscles, but Blues could still feel a very strong aura from it.

What's wierd is, although it was a cat, it was standing up on it's hind legs.

"Are you with the Band of Darkness?" Blues asked.

"Yes. My name is Taromaiti, one of the band of darkness." The navi said in a wispy yet strong voice.

Blues dashed towards the navi with his cybersword ready. He swung, but he never saw the blade connect with the desired target.

"Over here."

Blues looked over to see Taromaiti sitting on his blade like any normal cat would sit on an object.

"Geez, you're slow." He said, licking his arm.

"One kittys' opinion" Blues said and flicked the blade, sending Taromaiti flying.

He landed nimbly on his feet and split into several different copies of himself. They all dashed a Blues. Blues held up his sword and brought it down to the ground quickly, creating a sonic boom, destroying all of the copies.

"Found ya." Blues said, and slashed the real Taromaiti.

Taromaiti went flying up into the air, but as he did, he snapped his body into a hook-like shape, and flew down with all of his claws extended.

Blues jumped him and slashed him in the back. Taromaiti landed on his back, flipped back up, and sent out a huge flame out towards Blues.

It hit him full-on and everything burst into an inferno.

"That was a little too easy..." Taromaiti said. "Where are you?" He asked.

Blues walked out of the flames, but he was different. His armor was blue, his hair had become black, His sword was now a bustergun.

"Ah, that is a Soul Unison, correct?" Taromaiti asked.

"Yes. This is Rockman Soul." Blues said.

Taromaiti leapt at Blues. Blues unleashed a series of ChargeShots at him, knocking him over.

"Perhaps it is time we ended this." Taromaiti muttered, and charged up completely.

He unleashed all of his dark energy and shouted "Forever Zero!"

Everything became pitch black. Blues found himself in a void, nothing but pure blackness as far as the eye could see.

"This is wierd...Enzan? Can you hear me?" Blues asked.

No answer.

He was alone. For the first time in his life, he was alone.

He fired his bustergun, hoping to light up the area, but all that happened was the blast kept traveling until it couldn't be seen.

"You're in my world now." A voice said.

Taromaiti floated down. "And anything I want can happen." He said.

Blues charged up his bustergun. He blasted it at Taromaiti. The cat-navi flicked the blast away and thrust his hand out as if gripping something.

Blues felt it hard to breath. Something was gripping his neck. Taromaiti was strangling him from far away, in a very Star Wars-like fashion.

Then the cat let go and leapt at Blues, he slashed Blues, breaking off his helmet and making his Soul Unison wear off.

Blues stood there, in pain, without a helmet. His red eyes showed signs of exhaustion.

"You look very handsome. Probably have millions of fangirls, huh?" Taromaiti said.

"Like you wouldn't believe." Blues replied, remembering how Trill had handcuffed him to herself once so he would date her.

Blues dashed up to the navi and slashed at him. The cat recieved a nice gash across the chest. Taromaiti showed no signs of weakening. He created a huge ball of darkness and hurled it at Blues.

It was so big, it was impossible to dodge, and it smashed into Blues, hurting him severely. Then Blues grinned.

"I know your weakness." He said.

"Oh, really? What is it, then?" Taromaiti said.

"None of this is real. It's all in my mind. How else could you do a dark attack that strong if you are only 1/4 percent dark element?" Blues said.

At that moment, everything disappeared, and Blues and Taromaiti were back in the PC.

"Enzan, give me our strongest sword chip we have." Blues said.

Enzan nodded. "DeltaRayEdge! Slot-In!"

Blues did the triangle slashing attack, and hurt Taromaiti severly enough to the point where he couldn't fight anymore. He limped down.

"Urgh...you are good fighter." He said.

"Tell me something I don't know." Blues replied.

"But the last member of the Band of Darkness...he's much stronger than any of us. In fact, over the past years he's gotten stronger than Angra Mainyu himself. I don't think you stand a chance against him." Taromaiti said.

"Really..." Blues said. "I think we can handle it."

Taromaiti laughed and exploded.

"Enzan, all done over here." Blues said.

"Hey, what happened to your helmet?" Enzan asked.

"Oh. It was destroyed during battle."

"You kinda look cool without it. You should keep it that way."

Blues smirked. "I do look awesome, don't I?" He said.

"Look awesome, yes. But you sound pretty conceited."

Blues sighed. He was hoping Enzan wouldn't say that.

The final members of the Band of Darkness, Avetat and Merethyn, watched the group of navis from the top of a skyscraper in Net City. It was days after Blues had defeated Taromaiti.

"Why aren't we attacking them? They're right there, out in the open!" Avetat said.

"No. We only attack them fairly." Merethyn said, calm as usual.

"But it would be so much easier this way!" Avetat argued.

"No. That is not honest. If we are to attack them, it will be when they know we're coming."

"Well, I think you're making a very sucky leader!" Avetat said.

Merethyn looked at the shadowy navi. Spikes stuck out of him from all angles. Merethyn always did think that they looked ridiculous.

"Really? You'd go up against what our master, Angra Mainyu, decided?" He asked.

"He made a wrong decision by picking you! If I were in charge, those navis would be deleted right now!" Avetat replied.

Merethyn sighed. "Alright, Avetat. Here's the deal: I'll let you try to delete me 7 times. If you succeed, you are the leader of the Band of Darkness, but you'll have to get new members, considering we're the only ones still alive. If you cannot delete me in 6 attacks, I'll delete you myself." He said.

Avetat grinned. His arm turned into a glowing purple cybersword.

"Chaos Slash!" He shouted, and tried to slash Merethyn through the chest with the evil cybersword.

Merethyn leaned to the side and easily dodged it.

"5 attacks left." He said.

"Shut up." Avetat said, and the sword turned red.

"Blood Sword!" He shouted, swung it downwards, and watched as a red lance shot out of the sword towards Merethyn.

The navi grabbed the lance and it dissolved.

"4 attacks."

Avetat grew nervous and plunged the sword into the top of the building, creating dust. He formed the dust into a dragon, and sent it flying at Merethyn.

Merethyn merely stuck out a hand and created a barrier. The dust dragon collided with the barrier and shattered back into normal dust.

"3."

Avetat started to sweat. He created a wind storm and sent it towards his opponent. The navi teleported from behind the wind and appeared in front of it, avoiding the attack completely.

"2..."

Avetat smashed the ground and several rocks flew up from it and smashed Merethyn, sealing him in a tomb of rocks. Avetat grinned.

"Finally." He said.

Then all of the rocks blasted off of Merethyn, and the navi stood where they were, unharmed.

"1..."

Avetat growled. Demonic wings popped out of his back, and a dark aura formed around him. He flew up and channeled the aura into his wings.

"ETERNAL DARKNESS!!!" He shouted, and sent huge bursts of darkness flying out from his wings and homing in on Merethyn.

The calm navi stood there, unmoving. Blasts of darkness peled him, and kept pelting him as Avetat launched more.

"Die!" He shouted.

Finally, he stopped. The spiked navi landed on the ground, and his wings dissolved.

"Heh, he finally keeled over. Looks like I'm the new leader." Avetat said.

Suddenly, Merethyn burst out of the smoke and gripped Avetat by the neck.

"Looks like you couldn't kill me." He said, and glowed silver.

The glow moved from his body into Avetat. Merethyn dropped Avetat and waited. Suddenly, Avetats' eyes started glwoing and when he opened his mouth, light shone out of it. He screamed in agony as his body slowly dissolved into nothingness.

Merethyn looked down onto the navis who had defeated his comrades(excluding Avetat, who had just been murdered by himself.)

"We will fight, net saviors, but it will be a fair fight. I promise." Merethyn said.
