dr.doppler appeared in an original mm game and in the x series....now in the x series...when u beat him he explains that sigme infected him....AND claimed he was a good guy....but he was also bad in megaman 4 i think it was(not sure).....wat was his explanation for that?

Two different robots.
Doppler in X was a reploid scientist who thought he cured the Maverick Virus and turned out to be infected himself, thus his cure was fake.
Doppler in MM was just some robot built by Wily. I never played MM4 all the way through..ssooo...
It's an overused "common" scientific name

i never got to the other x games after x 3 so dopplers cure was fake?...as i suspected!....i just wasnt sure.....but ok...two confused scientist names....interesting

Oh wait, I got confused! XD I thought the Doc Robot was Doppler. I'm so scatter brained sometimes. (Damned D words!) ;_; so sue me. Been awhile since I played the games.

Hmmm... true... no Dr. Doopler in the original series.
Dr. Doopler in Rockman X3, Reploid scientist who worked over in a cure for the Maverick virus and created his own place in an island called Doopler town wich worked as a rehabilitation center for reploids. But his so called cure resulted being fake, and a booster for the virus infection as part of the plan to bring Sigma back to use him and gain power.
After his battle with X, It resulted that his "Evilness" was indeed the infection of the virus, and Sigma was using him as a puppet to accomplish his long planned plan. After Dr. Doopler realizes what is what Sigma wants, [spoil:e85a24d235]Sigma wanting to take over X's body because he is design to be the perfect new generation robot and not an inperfect reploid to gain ultimate power as Dr. Light said about X [/spoil:e85a24d235] Dr. Doopler uses his own body to hold Sigma in his virus form off to let X escape and take Sigma down with him.
Too bad for the poor doc, but we gotta admit. Even after his so evil plans, he ended up being good after all.

A) Dr.Cossack
or
B) Mr.X
Dr. Cossack was the "villian" in MM4 and Mr.X is the only Classic Series scientist who even remotely resembles Doppler. |
