I dont know how many people know this but there going to show naruto on Tonnami the anime show thing at the end of the week on cartoonnetwork
there gonna start airing naruto on september 10th

ShoPro (now Viz Media) is handling the dub of Naruto. Beyond that, nobody knows anything about it aside from a few tidbits, such as Steve Blum being the head of the localization team and providing the dub voice for Kakashi.

My friend said that his friend auditioned for the voice of Naruto and my friend's friend was told his voices wasn't "girly enough"
Scares me a bit... but hopefully they don't edit out too much... and I'm rejoicing that so far we see the right names...
But I was expecting stuff like what Aetho's topic in the old forums was gonna happen...

MAN! That guy voices everywhere, whether with that name or David Lucas! He does do a good job sometimes, At first I couldn't tell the voices of Mugen from Samarai Champloo and Kazuma from s-CRY-ed where the same guy. I just hope they keep the music the same, But I am thinking this show should be on Adult Swim instead... |

Dude, you have no idea. Steve Blum does like, 15 voices a week. He probably doesn't even remember all of them.
@neogamer: If your friend of a friend of a friend of a friend really did audition for role of Naruto then I'm not surprised he was turned down for not having a "girly enough" voice. Sexy no Jutsu, anyone?

I am glad that they left the character names intact well at least the first names since that is all the cartoon network site lists.
There was a rumor about Sakura going to be named Rose but it is still Sakura so yay. It is hard to believe that ShoPro has anything to do with the Naruto Dub. Since they messed up so many NT Warrior Dub Names. Junk Dataman, Vineman, Spoutman, Torchman. I mean those are bad names well not as bad as Colorman/Coloredman to Wackoman. So yeah they aren't my fav comp but now that Viz merged with them it isn't to surprising that they got the Naruto character names straight.
I am not trying to bash the Rockman Dub but some of the Dub names are so pointless. |

I know everyone's gonna come over and say I'm backseat modding, but I'm just saying this because this is the same DAMN THING that happens on every forum with a Naruto thread. | isn't there supposed to be a 13-episode oxset coming next year, with the uncut dub AND the Japanese version. I'd rather get that then download it. |

| They said that after the dub premieres in September, they'd be releaseing some uncut DVDs of the show around December, so the Toonami version will be edited a little bit, but not a TON. Even so, I'll be hapyp to get the DVDs. |

no no, I mean watch the japanese verison from episode one,you well see what mean,go buy the season 1 on dvd on online.it all original,not like the shopro crap that there going to but like no blood or no sexy nujitsu. 
and yes Kirbopher15 it worth watching ,best fighting seens DBZ,i guess you like to watching megaman only huh?but I if you dont like ninjias or fighting others ninjias then dont watch it, am not forcing you or anybody to watch this. |

Dude, I already AM a fan of the series. I don't know what YOU'RE talking about now >> I meant how you're already stating how the english version is automatically going to be bad, when it hasn't even come OUT yet.
