King of Fighters

Ever played this game? It involves some all-star characters battling it out to be the best. I also hear that an anime involving this will come out. If you like this game, this is the place to express your liking.

My favorite team: Team Ikari (Leona, Ralf, Clark, Whip, Heidern)

I have, and I'm quite a big fan of the series
Interested in the anime too... there's been some pretty bad fighting game anime with very few good ones IMO... but hopefully this'll be one of the good ones.

Anyhow, my favorite team is the Psycho Soldiers. (Athena, Kensou, Chin, Bao and Momoko or whatever the new person's name is)

Favorite character is a tie between Ash and Malin.

Those guys are from King of Fighters 2003 and will come to the new King of Fighters XI game... coming out this year.

While I don't play the Actual KoF I like using their playing style in Capcom vs. SNK 2. My Favorite character is Yuri...I can pull out any of her moves out of a random bag of tricks (slapping the opponent is my favorite XD). Kyo is also one of my KoF favorites his moves are a little slow compared to Yuri's though. A couple of others...I think King and Rock.

In CvsSNK2 I also like using Iori since he is near identical to Kyo and Nakoruru...because I like pimp slapping my opponent with dashing.

My favorites are the S and N-Grooves because I'm so strategic in these type of goodness.

Ah, KOF. I knew they had manga but a anime too? Good. As for teams, the AOF team(Ryo, Robert, Yuri, King, and Takuma) I've always found them to be the most well rounded each year, and King = Mirage Dance for teh win <3

I just heard KOF and came rushing here.

But isn't a little weird that they always use the same cliches over and over again?

-Worldwide clandestinous/full of publicity tournament that always the winning team faces the organizer, and when he's defeated, he blows his own base up.

I can only think of that cliche with Rugal... anyway, very nice how the series has been sticking on the same console for around 12 years. And the other console versions aren't bad either. I played 94 to 2002 so far. I need to play 2003, Maximum Impact and a few extra games. But I really wanna play the KOF quiz time for Neo Geo.

But has anyone heard of an extra KOF game for Neo Geo called KOF: Neo Rave? It isn;t a 2004 edition, but something else. But the weirdest thing, is that Saisyu Kusanagi, Shingo Yabuki and Kula Diamond (Drools) Are in the same team under the name of the Dream Team. I really wanna play this game, and actually saw the webpage on Playmore's website.

Those so far that I can get around ANY opponent with.

But who hates that nasty striker combo in 2000 with Ralf and Joe? It is nice that you do it, but nasty to receive.

First, use Ralph's horsepower Vulcan punch on the enemy (The one that he takes down and smacks on the floor, not the other one.) And after finishing, call on Joe (You have to be facing the edge of the battlefield and very close to it.) and let him use his Machine gun punch, and before he deals the last blow, use the same attack with Ralph again. And you can keep doing it for your ammount of P-Crystals and S-Bombs. (Striker Bombs, not the bad word.)

And ad I guess, I like 2000 the best than the others, Combos are more linkeable and the graphics are better than in the others. But I love the artwork for 2001 though.
