Stream #47 - "Why Are You Here?" - Spoilers

Sirens are everywhere, and so are the police, as last weeks episode is still wrapping up. Misaki informs Netto that Tesla is no where to be found, and the boy wonders where she has left to go. Charlie comes up to the two and asks if it's alright he head on home. Misaki thanks him for the good work, and bids him good night. Netto whines that he wants to leave too.

On the flight home aboard his helicoptor, Charlie goes over his schedule for tomorrow with Gyroman. Once back home, Charlie heats up some microwave dinner, and flops back on the couch. As he finishes, he notices the pillows on the couch seem extra...fluffy. After some slight groping, Charlie discovers Tesla asleep under the pillows!

Tesla innocently yawns herself awake. Right off the bat she complains that there's no food in the place, and she's hungry. Charlie calls upon Gyroman, who immediatly starts explaining the tuneups needed for the heli. Between Tesla demanding shampoo for her shower, and Gyroman asking for more oil for the heli engine, Charlie finally explodes.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

The next day, a client of Charlie's thanks him for the safe flight. Once back in the air on his own, Gyroman asks Charlie what he's going to do about Tesla. Charlie kind of stammers, until Gyroman asks him if he's alright with hiding a criminal from the net police.

Back at his place, Tesla's diving into a huge tub of ice cream while watching tv. When Charlie enters the room, Tesla wonders why he only has one kind of ice cream. Charlie tries to find a why to ask her why she's there in the first place. After more prodding from Gyroman, he finally does so. "To put a stop to him", she says. Charlie thinks she means himself, but Tesla recorrects him rather quickly. "Dark Rockman!"

Obviously Tesla has a rather large grudge against being held captive by the evil little navi, as well as taking over her very own Neo WWW building. Charlie pleads with her to leave Dark Rockman to the net police, but she won't hear anything of it. "I will...take care of him....MYSELF!"

Standing by a peaceful lake, Yuriko's PET starts to beep. She pulls it out, and sees a familiar face on the screen.

Rock: Hey.
Yuriko: Rockman? No, it's not. You are Dark Rockman.

She wonders how he found her location so easily, but Dark Rock just points out that the Darkloids can find anything in the world. Yuriko shrugs it off, then asks what he wants. Dark Rock reveals that he's interested in the Crests of Duo, and little miss Yuriko holds the last one he needs. After telling him she'll have nothing to do with it, Dark Rock casually mentions "You have a sister, don't you?"

Obviously if Yuriko doesn't comply with his wishes to meet at the old Dark Chip factory, an unfortunate incident will befall Mariko-sensei. Dark Rock bids adeu as he dissappears off of Yuriko's PET screen. Needleman immediatly reappears on the screen, and asks her what she's going to do. Yuriko resolves that she has no other choice.

Back at the Net Police, Netto is conferencing with Manabe and Kifune. Netto wonders why in the heck Dark Rockman is trying to collect all of the Crests of Duo. Manabe asks just what exactly Dark Rock had said, but Netto doesn't really recall. However, Rockman does! The cute little navi gives a small cough, then gives a frightening impression of his other half.

"All of your Crests of Duo will belong to me. Your friends are divided among the foreign places...right?"

Netto is rather amazed and frightened at the same time, while Rock defends himself that he was only pretending. Manabe figures out that Yuriko and Barrel are the only ones with their Crests unattained yet by Dark Rockman. Rockman pipes up that Tesla has a crest too, which sets Netto off into a rant about where the heck she's hiding. Manabe says the net police are trying to find her, but Misaki mentions they've had no luck so far. Netto's PET suddenly rings, and Rock says he has a mail. As he wonders who it's from, Netto suddenly has a very surprised reaction!

At the said factory, Yuriko slowly wanders through in the dark. A computer moniter clicks on, and Dark Rockman appears onscreen. He immediatly orders her to place her crest of duo on the scanner in front of her. Yuriko holds her hand up in front of her, and looks at her own palm. "You mean this?" Rockman smiles in glee, "Sou..."

"I don't want to," states Yuriko. "What do you mean?", asks a rather confused Dark Rock. "You won't have my crest, that's what I've decided," says Yuriko, as she removes her sunglasses. "What do you mean?", demands Dark Rock again. "Is your sister okay with this?"

Yuriko seems unfizzled, as she holds up her PET and demands a chance to fight. Dark Rockman figures it'll still be easy to take her crest by force, so he activates the dimensional converters in the area. Soon enough, both Dark Rockman and Cosmoman materialize in the real world, on the railing above Yuriko.

Yuriko wastes no time in cross fusing with Needleman, and the battle begins! Cosmoman fires first, and Yuriko retaliates with a mega cannon. Before she can fire however, Dark Rockman nails her with the exact same attack! Yuriko refuses to give in, and a plasma shot nails Dark Rockman right back. It's cross fusioned Netto!

Dark Rock turns to Yuriko, unbelieving that she would actually cooperate with the Net Police to put a stop to his plans. Yuriko just smiles, saying she no longer wishes for a world ruled by the Darkloids. Yuriko then takes off to confront Cosmoman, leaving Dark Rockman to Netto.

Meanwhile, Mariko has been led by the Net Police to a guest house, where she can be kept safe. With the kitty snuggled in her lap, Mariko worries fiercly about her twin sister, Yuriko. She asks Misaki if something has happened, which surprises him that she would know why she was brought here. "It's alright", he reassures her. "Netto-kun is with her. Please believe in them." Mariko stares down at a cup filled with tea in despair, "Believing in them is all I can do..." As she reaches for the cup, it suddenly cracks, and leaks out the tea. "Yuriko....."

Back to the battle, Yuriko slots in the Long Sword chip. Just as she's about to swipe at Cosmoman, someone grabs her arm, and won't let go. A form appears out of a stream of bright purple light...

Yuriko: You bastard....
Rockman: That is....impossible!
Netto: He is...but there is...no way!
Yuriko: Regal?!
Dr. Regal: It's been a long time, Yuriko.

Eyecatch! Yay for Rock and Netto.

Regal simply laughs as Yuriko yells over and over again to let her go. Regal grips her arm, and deactivates the long sword attached to it. "Now, give your Crest of Duo to me." Regal snides, and grips her now free hand in his own. Yuriko screams in pain as electricty fires through her, while Regal laughs triumphantly as he absorbs the data of the crest. Yuriko falls out of cross fusion, and passes out, Regal dropping her to the ground. With his objective completed, Regal just continues to laugh.

From down below, Netto demands to know why they're gathering all of the Crests of Duo. However, Regal's not quite ready yet to reveal his plans. Instead, Dark Rockman begins firing away as an interuption. Once the smoke subsides, Netto then demands to know why Dark Rockman and Regal are working together.

Dark Rockman: "About that...Dr. Regal brought me into this world!"

After a few shocked moments, Dr. Regal gives his departing orders to Dark Rock to obliterate Netto and Rockman. Regal is once again engulfed in the bright light, and turns into a glowing orb. Netto demands for him to wait, but Regal just promises that he will return again very soon. Before leaving, Regal drops down a goo of a mess onto the floor, which materializes into a strange being with a sword!

Dr. Regal makes his escape, and the battle begins once again! Netto manages to dodge Cosmoman's attacks, but gets nailed by surprise by Dark Rockman. Cosmoman attacks again, with power so strong it crashes through the roof of the factory. Netto curses after being nailed again, holding his right arm in pain. Dark Rockman smirks, "Rockman...it's time to say bye bye."

Rockman's voice sounds out, "I wonder about that!" To punctuate his words, the noise of a helicopter booms out from overhead. It's Charlie and Tesla! "YOU'RE LATE, CHARLIE!" Netto's voice yells out, rather annoyed. Charlie mentions he got held up, looking over in Tesla's direction. Much to his horror, she's in the middle of leaping right out of his helicopter! "Lets go, Magnetman!"

Tesla flies through the area, and slots in the synchro chip just as she hits the dimensional area wall. Netto steps aside rather quickly as Tesla lands beside him, ready to fight. "Tesla, why are you...?!"

Dark Rockman seems far more amused than afraid, simply smiling. Tesla points her finger both at Dark Rockman and Cosmoman, swearing her everlasting revenge for humiliating her. Before Cosmoman can even answer, she flings off a Magnet Missile and nails him head on! Cosmoman crashes straight to the ground, right behind Dark Rockman, who's expression is of utter shock.

Tesla flings off another round of attacks, which Dark Rockman runs quickly away from, causing them to nail Cosmoman once again. Netto just kind of stares at the commotion in awe. Shortly after however, he finds himself in a tight battle with the creature Dr. Regal left behind. Barring sword against sword, it's an even match.

Dark Rockman swipes through Tesla's debris with a sword, his expression full of rage. The rabid navi leaps in for the kill, but cross fusioned Charlie dives in just in time to take the hit for her, straight in the back. Charlie screams in pain, collapsing in Tesla's arms. Dark Rockman prepares his buster to finish them both, but a surprise attack hits him first. Dark Rock peers over to see Netto, his sword set against his creature opponent, but his buster pointed straight at him.

Charlie asks Tesla is she's okay, but Tesla just asks him the same thing. Charlie shrugs it off, and promises he won't let anything happen to her. Meanwhile, Netto starts screaming at Charlie to come help him, as he's now facing not one, but three opponents. XD Tesla watches in slight shock as Charlie dives off, back towards the battle.

Charlie hits Cosmoman with his Tornado Arm, while Netto uses the Variable Sword to finish off the strange creature. Tesla finishes things off as she fires off an enourmous round of Magnet Missiles, thus finally deleting the last Darkloid.

Dark Rockman: "Cosmoman......"
Tesla: "Now, you're the only one left!"

Dark Rockman simply gives a "hmph", then smiles as he forms a magbomb in his hand, and drops it to the floor. The bomb explodes in smoke, allowing Dark Rock to run away safely. The Dimensional Converters pull back into the ground, and everyone de-crossfuses.

Netto murmers that Dark Rockman got away again, while Charlie starts yelling for Tesla. It seems Dark Rock wasn't the only one who fled the scene. Footsteps alert the two, and Netto notices Yuriko leaning against a doorway. He asks if she's okay, and she simply thanks him.

Out of nowehere, Dr. Wily suddenly appears, pushing along his cart of cans. Everyone is rather surprised to see the old geezer again. "Dr. Regal lives now only as a monster," Wily retorts in response to the current events.

Yuriko reveals that Dr. Regal holds a crest of duo as well, much like herself. They were chosen by him, after all, to be probes and given back their lives after a fatal plane crash. Charlie worries that he now has all the crests, but Netto mentions that Barrel is impossible to catch, because he's dead.

However, Wily crushes all their hopes when he mentions that Regal has already obtained Barrel himself. Not in their timeline, but in the past. When Regal was working with Wily after having been rescued by him, they conducted research together on the history of Duo. There they came in contact with Barrel, who agreed to be a part of it. Thus, Regal has already obtained the data for Barrel's crest.

The next morning, another client of Charlie's thanks him for the safe flight. Once he gets back home, he drops his take-out dinner on the table, and collapses on the couch. Suddenly, a voice calls out, and a woman is pouring them both tea. It's Tesla!

Charlie asks why she's there again, but she doesn't give an answer. Charlie suddenly remembers the ring he had found, and pulls it out of his pocket to give back to her. He asks if she remembers the day she had left it behind, but she just points at his dinner and asks what exactly is it. Charlie explains that it's a curry bento, just as he starts smelling something delicious from his very own kitchen.

"What's this wonderful smell?", he asks. "Roast Beef," replies Tesla. Charlie wonders if she cooked it herself, but she just retorts that her servant prepared it. "Servant?" Charlie's a little confused. That is, until Gauss Magnets appears with their dinner.

So, they all sit down to eat at Charlie's couch, and Gauss slaps Charlie on the back to eat up. Gauss then decides to turn on the tv, and they all watch a show rather akwardly together, until Tesla complains that the show isn't appropriate while they're eating. So, Gauss turns the tv back off again.

Gauss hands Charlie his plate of food, then whispers in his ear, asking what exactly his relationship to Tesla is. Before Charlie can answer, Tesla herself smacks her father right in the face, and begins to act all shy and embarrased. n.n;

Charlie cringes as his PET suddenly rings, it's a call from Netto! Thus begins an escapade of Netto loudly complaining about losing track of Tesla AGAIN, while the two criminals themselves are casually eating dinner and talking right next to poor Charlie. The conversation ends with Netto yelling ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!, while poor Charlie ends up in the middle. ^_^;;

Overall, not a bad episode. It wasn't really a surprise that Dark Rock would be related to Regal. Regal himself is even more creepy now though. XP

Gauss hands Charlie his plate of food, then whispers in his ear, asking what exactly his relationship to Tesla is. Before Charlie can answer, Tesla herself smacks her father right in the face, and begins to act all shy and embarrased. n.n;

Charlie cringes as his PET suddenly rings, it's a call from Netto! Thus begins an escapade of Netto loudly complaining about losing track of Tesla AGAIN, while the two criminals themselves are casually eating dinner and talking right next to poor Charlie. The conversation ends with Netto yelling ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!, while poor Charlie ends up in the middle. ^_^;;

Overall, not a bad episode. It wasn't really a surprise that Dark Rock would be related to Regal. Regal himself is even more creepy now though. XP

This was a very good episode, it even had Misaki who seemed to have been replaced with Miyabi as the "Yuriko hunter". Thanks for translating what Mariko said, it seemed really interesting.I have to say that I thought Telsa was drunk when she was in the helicopter XD.

Hm, well they solved the problem with Barrel rather easily, and it stll made sense I guess. He'll be coming next episode, but I was expecting them to get his crest during that episode instead. Also, did this "creature" that Regal sicked on Lan during the fight look remenicent to the creatures in Episode 45?

Wow, this seems like a nice eppy. My guess with the survival of Regal at first, is that he has super duo powers. It seems as though both Yuriko and
Regal can avoid all death not caused by natural causes until their mission is done.
