The manga is coming March 2006. The Anime is coming out in Japan on October 6th. This news is quite old, by the way. Black Cat was announced in America in like July.

The anime came out the 6th of this month in Japan ^^. Oyasumi subs has done the first episode! Has anyone else seen it yet? If so, what do you think of it?

Personally, I completely loved it =D. I found it rather odd that they started the anime during Train's past instead of going back to it later, like they did in the manga. I guess they thought it would save time if they started it there. The character designs changed a little due to Gonzo, but I actually like them a lot. Eve is the only character whose design is messed up a little bit. Her manga design made her look a lot more mature, which made more sense later in the series when she became as mature as she looked.

I enjoyed the opening a lot! I love listening to it, it fits the mood of the series very well ^^. Sven's voice actor was great, he really captured Sven's additude well. Train's was deep, but that was to be expected since he is still serious at this point. Creed's voice actor did an amazingly awesome job, he truely captured Creed's sheer insanity. Sephiria sounds as I though she would sound; like Integral, but a little more feminine. We haven't heard any other very important character, yet : o.

The animation was simply amazing. It was very well animated and very fluid. I didn't really expect it to be bad in the first place because I love Gonzo's animation. The humor seemed to take more of a GetBackers approach with the exesive ammount of chibiness and expression. Which is absolutely fine, since GetBackers rocks =P. The ending animation was amazing! What's better than the trademark white cat from the manga dressed up as all the characters XD?

Basicly, I loved the first episode. I really hope they can pick up the awesome pace that the first episode presented =P. I really recommend this to old Black Cat fans and anime fans alike! I can't wait until Saturday <3.

Oh no! Neko-Creed! Whatever shall neko-Train do?!

Looks like neko-Train is about to have a hot kiss with neko-Saya!

Synopsis of the manga;

It's about an ex-assassin (Number XIII of the Chronos Numbers Erasers) named Train Heartnet, aka Black Cat (Because of the number 13 being bad luck and his catch phrase whenever he kills some one being, "I'm here to deliver bad luck..."). He and his partner, Sven Volfied, are sweepers, or bounty hunters. Train left after being betrayed by his former partner, Creed. Creed is back and he wants Train to rejoin him as he tries to take over the world with the power of "Tao." Basicly, Train and Sven are trying to stop what Creed is doing. All the while, Creed continues to believe that Train has been corrupted by "that woman." It's very interesting and very cool. It's rather well known, actually. The manga is really good but now an anime..thats just to good to be true. But did Train kill that guy that shot the old man in the first ch.?

Probably not, Train vowed never to kill again. Though, it really seems like the manga-ka first intended for the guy to die at first... But as I said, Train said he would never kill again, so I doupt it.

Wow... I have a friend online who likes Black Cat...but I've never known what it was. It looks awesome though...I must find fansubs! ...in...something other then...AVI format....

The manga art style makes the characters look a lot more mature. It also seems to have better development in terms of the plot and characters. The anime also looks pretty promising. I especially like Eve the Nanogirl, although I'm not sure what to think of [spoil:94aea01eb8]Train Heartnet making such an awkward transition from cool assassin to clumsy and aloof dork in the early episodes; it's like he's two different people.[/spoil:94aea01eb8]

I personally hate how they started the anime. It doesn't really flow well at all because of how it started...
