As a Forte fan, I was just wondering what everybody thought was the reason that Forte is so popular.

Well he is seen as powerful, dark, and sort of a Lone Ranger. Evil characters or bad guys always seem to be big fan favorites, plus Forte looks cool in my opinion. That's why I think he is popular, I think it's the evil and powerful part that appeals the most to people though.

Most people like him because he's the stereotypical mysterious dark anti-hero.

He has potenial to be the strongest navi in the world, he doesn't say much, and he is the longest lasting villian in the entire world of Rockman. Plus, he is after Rockman.

He's popular, for the same reason Sephiroth, of FF7, is popular.
It makes me mad, when characters like this are made... There're millions of people who like him, just 'cause he's the lone-wolf-cool-powerful-hates-everyone-character...
But, oh well... He's, still, awesome - despite me saying I hate that type of character.

He's your typical anime badass. Just about every Shounen Anime has one. Before him it was Blues, but Blues is a good guy, so that darkness in Bass is appealing to massives of uber retards. Harsh, maybe, but I hate hate hate hate, all these topics, "Who's your favorite Navi?" people say 'Forte cuz he's so eviiiiiiiiil!', or some who go as far in topics like "What Navi would you Be?" to say 'I'd be forte cuz I'm so evil.'. Such garbage responses to potentially good questions - I could write a 5 paragraph essay about my favorite Navi and all sorts of reasons I like him or her. But no. Not these Bass fans. No thought at all. Forte should get whats coming to him, I say.

Of course there are his ACTUAL fans, but meh.

Those who don't have much to say like characters that don't have much to say.

And that is shown by how little they say about the characters they like. XD

Me? I say Bass has some kinda personal defect...maybe he just CAN'T communicate? Ever think of that? Maybe all his vocab consists of is "ZOMG! s0 muCh p0w3r!!1!!11eleven!"? Ever think of THAT? ...not until now you did, I bet... Razz

I think he is popular because he is the Negative of Rockman, and in my opinion, sometimes the Hero is kind of stupid and normal, i prefear strong, silent and serious kind of character, is more cool and imponent, like alot of persons would like....

most fangirls like the strong-silent-badarse guys who normally act cool, calm and collected. of course, forte (and about a billion other bishounen out there) fit this description perfectly. as for me.... i refrain from picking favourites for as long as i possibly can. :]

Colnol has a cape though not a cloak. For me I like Forte cause of his attacks and his personality and of course his cloak which is veyr important for me liking him.

I like Forte, mostly about his history...
I find it interesting what drives him to go on.
As well in the games as in the anime.
Nobody is 100% sure about his past, and what happened to him.
I guess mystery just interests me very much, so that's why i like him.
And of course he looks cool, and black is one of my favorite colors Laughing

Do i qualify to be a real fan of Forte?

P.S: Kuro you probably got your quote from Hercules right?
