Since school started, I've been pumping out drawing like never before. I thought I'd show you all so that I could get some feedback. I've considered pursuing a career in graphic novels, and all your feedback would be greatly apprecitated.

Let's get one think out in the open though. I don't have photoshop. My friend said he'd give it to me, but he hasn't, and it's been months. All my work is in sketch format, from my sketch book, done in mechanical pencil or red col-erase pencil. Until I get some practice with photoshop, that's how all my drawings are. Got it? Cool.

Alto is a WIP. Any suggestions would be great, cause I'm stuck on what else to give him.

Alto kind of looks like a cross between Classic Protoman and EXE Protoman, but he's still cool. You need to color them.

Nice sketches. ^_^
Only nitpicks I have are that Alto's left arm looks off and his left foot seems a bit too narrow.

I wanted to update on friday, but I couldn't get to a scanner. I'll try to update weekly on fridays from now on.

Ok, I don't think I'm so fond of my first sketch of Alto. I just don't feel it does him justice. So I gave it another go, this time with a simpler pose.

Alto EXE, Remastered

To be honest I'm not too happy with the legs. They don't look like they can support his upper body. What does everyone else think.

Now in an effort to get more responses to my thread, I've kind of sunk to the level of fan service. This is my first attempt at something like this, so I'm interested in everyone's opinion. And now, for da ladies!!! (And possibly some guys... I don't know, I'm not one to judge...)

Bishounen Enzan

Now keep in mind, when I say I want feedback, I mean actual constructive feedback. I know a lot of you are going to say "OMG, Enzan is so hawt, this rulez!!!1", yeah Im know he's pretty, people keep telling me he is, but that doesn't help me. I would like some criticism on the drawing itself. I don't think that's a lot to ask.

Anyways, feast your eyes on these and tell me what you think. See you next friday with more pics.

The new Alto I really like. I can't really find any errors except for one thing. The left boot looks a little wierd to me. I don't know why, it just does...as for Bishounen Enzan, The drawing itself looks good. Only problem is his eyes seem like a Samurai Jack styled thing. That's really all I have to say. Great work, aside from those two things.

After comparing both versions of Alto, I also like the second version of him rather than the first one. With the new version of Alto, he still reminds me of the original Protoman, yet with a much better design. I don't see anything wrong with the legs at all. They look really well-drawn and I feel that they can support his upper body with no problem. I have to agree with CrossFusionStarman in regards to Alto's left boot as I see it as being out of place with the rest of the design. Maybe it has to do with the way the boot is positioned.

As for the Bishounen version of Enzan, I like it very much and from my perspective, he appears as being more older than what he should be. Is this what you were aiming for?

Yes. I'm don't think prepubescents should be displaying themselves like that. Besides, I think the older look adds to his smexiness, as his features are more dashing and mature.

You think it's unique? Really? Cause I always thought it was just crappy. I don't like using pencils to colour because of the inconsistencies.

It's pretty cool how you outlined some of his body in blue. It gives it this sort of glowy aura look.

That was a goof. I originally sketched him out in blue pencil because I thought the blue would dissapear in the scanning process (I got scanning mixed up with photocopying) then I outlined him using a regular pencil and coloured in the rest. The blue outline may look cool, but it doesn't really suit him, cause I originally made him as a fire navi.

I also fail at life cause I don't know how to change the title of threads.
