Comments on EXE Singapore Dub

Ok, allow me to start a new thread since the old one is so old.

For the first episode, they removed the intro song X.x.

Firstly,"kougaeki batteru chippu sword-do, slot-to in" become "attack use battle chip sword slot in". The dubbing was not was bad, however, Roll's voice sounds too old while Haruka Hikari and Mariko's voice sounds similar but hardly can hear what they are saying.

Fireman's voice was "digitized" when talking to Hino-ken. Dr. Wily's japanese quote "If you see him again, (pause for a while) make sure he's deleted" become "The next you see him, make sure you delete him (pause), understood?".

Rockman EXE is confirmed to become Rockman X-CE.

Over all the dubbing better than I expected from the Digimon dub.

PS: Before the shows start, that "cool cat" was introducing the work "rock" -_-! A bit lame though but I say he is just eating away the intro song time.

There wasn't a intro for episode 1,Steam Fever. Wink

my brother commented Haruka sounded like a ghost. I think Fireman sounded OK.

Well,Netto and Rockman's voices were....as usual,the same whiny boy voice the company uses for almost every single anime they dub.
Roll sounds too old and I'd go with Stream Fever saying that Haruka sounded like she was whispering.
The dub stuck true to the original translations,that's good to hear.
Also....no intro! Sad

I hate that stupid,poorly drawn,Macromedia Flash cat,with his irritating Meow Mix theme song.
And yes....it's Rockman Acks-ay.

Sounds interesting to take a look at, any possible way to sample this online or download it, i'll love to see and hear how the Singapore one compares....possibly even better Razz

Still in any even that's cool to hear, though im a lil confused on the whole Rockman X-CE???? X-CE???

They don't pronounce it Rockman eeh-acks-eeh.
They pronounce it Rockman achks-ayy.
And sadly,my webcam is about 400 metres away from my TV,so no recordings,sorry.

I dun think we need the video, the sound will do just fine since WPP already have released the video. We can just record the sound, then play the WPP's release with the volume muted and play the sound that has been recorded. Sadly my PC is too far from my TV too, so cannot record using wave either.

There was an ending but they cut out the japanese episode preview. Instead, the put a episode preview of their own X.x

That's not true, I watch the japanese Digimon before, it's really agumon not ackmon. You can check with WPP for that, they sub Digimon too.

Uh, pardon me, but Agumon name is STILL agumon in the dub. Where the heck did you get "Ackmon" from? :O I've seen the dub, and its name is defenately AGUmon. Perhapse you heard wrong...? Confused

Ackmon sounds like an alternate romanization of it. The symbols for the "k" and "g" sounds are similiar looking because they sound similiar.
