Rockman.exe 4 Help Topic

This thread...like the last one...is for help with EXE4. Please read the following blathering:

Looking for Roll V2 in Red Sun, GameFAQs says she's in Town area 3, but I can't find her. lil' help?

i dont remember exactlly,but in park area (1 i think)
there is a place that leads you to another part of town area 3.
its down if you'll look in the other part.
search there.

If a remember, she is in the bottom left cornor in the square in park area 2. Go to the bottom level via Park area 1, and then, when you reach the square, turn left to the bottom left cornor. You should find her

I think you actuallt fight V3, not V2. In BN 2 and 3 you fought V2 in a cornor, and fought V3 randomly. In BN4, I think you fight V3 in a cornor and SP randomly, is that right?

Your right. In Park Area 1 there are two paths that lead to Town Area 3. You need to take the little pink one. ( you know when come to the broken path keep following that pink path and it should lead you to place that takes you to the lower part of Town Area 3. :] ( i'm not sure about the V2 and V3 thing)

I found her, and she was V2, because I was playing on Normal instead of Hard or Super Hard.

Also finally found Gutsman in ACDC 2, he wasn't in a corridor, he was in a corner of one of those large rectangular spaces.

Dark: Use evil chips like NoiseStorm, ElemDark, Muramasa, etc. >

Using Evil chips doesn't do anything to your soul.

First of all there's technically no Dark Soul, using the "Soul Unison" definition, but you can make Megaman darker by using a lot of Dark Chips. You can eventually get him dark enough to a point where he'll begin every battle with the "evil" emotion (and thus will always be able to use Dark Chips), he'll no longer be able to use Soul Unison or Full Synchro, he won't be able to use HolyPanel, GunDelSols, Sanctuary, HolyDream, or navi SP chips, he'll make Holy Panels disappear by stepping on them, and he'll be able to use the evil chips, namely DarkHole, DarkLine, ElementDark, BlackWing, BlackBarrier, BugCurse, Muramasa, Anubis, BugCharge, Navi DS chips, and I think the Bass chips count as evil chips too. You'll also be able to use Dark Messiah Neo, the dark PA. You'll also go into Berserk Mode whenever you die in battle, whether or not you used Dark Chips. I think that's all there is to "Dark Soul".

But then how do you make the darkchips appear? I've played through Blue Moon about nine times now and only seen Darkchips like twice.

Dark Chips appear when your status window is green and Rockman looks sick. I believe it's when you take 5 hits in a row.

The amount of hits varies, actually. The game seems to have a pretty complicated algorithm for deciding when Megaman's emotions change. It seems to have something to do with receiving a certain amount of hits in a certain time frame, the amount of successful chip attacks you perform, and the amount of damage you have. At any rate, if you just stand still in battle and let yourself get hit all the time, Megaman should become worried eventually.

Also, keep in mind every battle you use a Dark Chip for will decrease your max HP by 1. It can be pretty fun to play for the dark side but you'd better be sure you want to do it first. I only played Evil-style after I already mastered both versions of the game, and then I played a fourth playthrough in Red Sun while using a Dark Chip in every battle. I think when I last left off Megaman had 500 Max HP without NaviCust help. I wouldn't think of doing that if I only owned one copy of the game, that's for sure.

Try using Silver Bullet ( You have Blue Moon Right?)

DoublePoint + SuperVulcan + Atk+30 + Atk+10 + Atk+10. Metal Soul's charge can be used to double that damage, making it 2880 damage.
