Dude... while Full Metal Alchemist rocked, the ending sucked. Totally.
[spoil:2ca9e8485b]Sure, I know it sort of left a cliffhanger as to how Ed's gonna return to the other side of the gate, but, you know, him warping into Germany during WWII wasn't my idea of a satisfying ending.[/spoil:2ca9e8485b] |

Both the anime and manga to Hikaru no Go have crappy endings =\. It accomplished nothing at all, in my opinion. The ending to the Mahoraba anime was kind of a let down, too =\. _________________

which Evangelion?
End of Evangelion [spoil:bf47aebcf4]Both Asuka and Shinji are the only ones living[/spoil:bf47aebcf4]
the regular series ending is the one that sucked... They threatened Anno to make a better ending and that's where End of Evangelion was born out of... near the end of End of Evangelion you can actually see some of the hate mail sent to Anno... _________________

what do ya mean? I thought the TV ending was better than End of Evangelion. That had to be the worst ending I've ever seen.
Anno used that movie to say "screw you" to the fans. |

Wait, you watch an anime series filled with angst, sorrow, mental instability, and death, and you expect a HAPPY ending?
Evangelion's ending wasn't supposed to be crowd-pleasing, it was supposed to be poetic and symbolic. Not only that, but it was the ending that the director wanted. If you don't like his preferred ending, too bad. Get over it.
And the regular ending was the way it was because the production staff ran out of money, not because they wanted to screw over the fans. The only reason they made the movie ending was because they were given more money to do so. _________________ Stuck In The Middle With You; a Metroid and Halo crossover

Nadesico movie ending SUCKED. Actually... I hated the movie .-.
Trigun's ending confused me, a lot. I kinda wish it had more closure. _________________ Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF. All my base are belong to you.

Saber Marionnette R:Sure, the series is only 3 episodes long, but the first two were action packed. The third one, the end of the series, was bland and was pretty lame.
Rockman.EXE Stream:Okay, I only hated this ending because [spoil:39457b897c]Slur died.[/spoil:39457b897c] Sure, I like it, but I'm still pretty mad :grr:
Dragonball GT:It's just...wierd.
Inuyasha: [spoil:39457b897c]Naraku uses the Shikon Jewel and it shatters, again. Than Kikyo sacrifices herself to kill him.[/spoil:39457b897c] I was hoping for more.
That's all I can think of right now. _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.

Maburaho has a really weird ending, it makes me feel it will have a 2nd sequel.
And yes, Full Metal Alchemist's ending does suck. The movie should be showing a more completed ending of FMA, though.
..And just a side note, even though Detective Conan has not ended, I will hate the ending, by anyway that it ends. The series is just too long that if they end it I will hate it anyway. XD
Stream has an uber sucky ending to me, consider it has [spoil:a4a396e329]absolutely little action, and people just got de-CFed right after they all go CROSS FUSION. And the wildspread of Synchro Chips are just a weird thing to hapen. And no Souls. ;_;[/spoil:a4a396e329] _________________

Inuyasha isn't done yet it's just the anime. So that's why it was like that.
And a bunch of people didn't like the ending to the second season of digimon.
But people hated a part or two from the series which led up to the ending. |

No no I LIKED the TV ending. I found that it completed the series more than End of Evangelion did.
Oh really? It seemed that the only reason Anno made End of Evangelion was because the fans forced him and well... from what I saw of the movie which was the whole thing it seemed to be one big "screw you" to the fans.
Besides End of Evangelion didn't resolve anything like the TV ending did. At least at the end of episode 26 you get a sense of completion. |

What the end of the Evangelion series and movie leave is possibility. [spoil:a161374359]If people have the will to return to their lives after having merged into the big glob of LCL, then they can.[/spoil:a161374359] It is confusing, yes, but there are far worse endings out there. And at least some excellect music came out of it. Thanatos: If I can't be Yours and Comm Susser Tod are great.
I would say that Excel Saga has a bad ending, except that it wasn't meant to have a plot in the first place and so things like endings and beginnings can be ignored. I'd say that the anime that left off the worst was Bio Booster Armor Guyver. The last episode available is no ending at all. It left more questions that weren't answered and there was no plot resolution. It's likely that they intended to continue the series, but didn't have funding/writers/ideas to finish it. Dragon Half ended much the same, but the plot line wasn't much, so leaving it unfinished isn't so bad.
What would be on this list for being left unfinished, and in the top spot for a poor ending, would be the Tenchi Muyo OVA series. However, the creators have gotten off their keesters and are finally continuing the series. I have yet to see what they've done with it, but (almost) anything is better that the ominous signs at the end that suggested there's more to come. It's still annoying that they left it undone for so long, but at least they're working now. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

I've heard the ending was different. [spoil:1b4ea4ab01]something like they all vow to kill Naraku or something like that[/spoil:1b4ea4ab01]
But yeah, the series really isn't finished in Japan. |

[spoil:8b775e7221]The TV series ending didn't resolve anything! NERV went against the orders of SEELE and threw the Lance of Longinus to kill that single angel. SEELE was pissed off, and NERV became really less trustable. NERV was going to definitely get the boot, and the TV series didn't resolve any of this.
Asuka being in a coma, and her depression. Rei isn't the same anymore. Why bother bringing her back for just an episode, without having her being essential to the plot? Shinji's loneliness. He just killed Kaworu and now hates himself. He's sinking lower and lower into this spiral of depression, and the TV series forced us to go with this ending that didn't finish the story. The anime ending was much more of a "screw you" to fans than the movie was. There wasn't a sense of completion for me because, well, nothing was completed. I honestly cannot think of one thing that was resolved in the end.
Aside from that, the mystery of the EVAs. This wouldn't have been solved if the movie hadn't been created. The characters die pretty gruesome deaths, but I loved it. It at least made some sense, and tied up some loose ends.
Shinji still wasn't able to come to terms with himself, and neither did anyone else (Except Asuka's brief enlightenment scene). That's at least realistic. With all that's going on in his life, why would he come to understand and agree with everything like with what happened to him? The whole "Congratulations, Shinji!!! Do your best!!!" ending was just complete bullcrap. Now, Shinji was able to understand more about himself by the end of the movie, but he didn't agree with it.
I'd like to debate more on the subject, but I can't think of much else to post at the moment. But to summarize my opinion:
Neon Genesis Evangelion episodes 25-26 = lol noob
End of Evangelion = I PWN[/spoil:8b775e7221]
I'm going to agree that the ending to the EVA TV series is one of the worst I've ever seen. |

Yeah, that was ONE of the endings. They were [spoil:c2abf0a748]trapped in a demons stomach, they got out, vowed to kill Naraku. The one I'm talking about is a continuation episode. Don't know where it came from, but it happens, as far as that portion of the episode shows.[/spoil:c2abf0a748] _________________ EXEHQ. Click now, I demand it.
