Ryouko-san mentioned before that the EXE anime airs on Saturdays in Japan. Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if it airs in the morning, or at night? |

Ok, so 8:30am in Japan, so what does that mean for us? Does it air at 8:30pm Friday or later Saturday? I hate timezones O_o _________________

I think it came out to around 5:30pm Friday central time, or around there. I used to watch it live on my computer awhile back. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

He was asking where I watched the episodes, not where I download them. _________________ "Cats are interesting. They're kind of like girls. When they come talk to you, it's great. When you go talk to them, it doesn't go so well." - Miyamoto

Egh, forgot about that. As for where I got it from, I could've SWORN someone said 10 in the morning a long time ago...like, before the forum was hacked. Maybe it was what time it was for that person, but whatever. |

Japan is exactly thirteen hours ahead of EDT, according to my research. Thus, the earliest that one could theoretically receive these new episodes is 7:30PM Eastern Daylight Time on Friday. Of course, this will never occur, as there needs to be some sort of time delay to convert the episode into a format that can be distributed here. If we're lucky, perhaps Ryo can get it for download by the next day. On average, I've noticed, that HQs and LQs get posted by Sunday, but ut generally depends. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Japan is 17 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time. So 8:30 am saturday morning - 12 hours is 8:30 PM friday night then subract a nother five hours and you get 3:30 PM PST, 4:30 PM MST, 5:30 CST, and 6:30 EST. _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!

I find pint pointing this a little hard, seeing that we are all in different time zone (in general)
now for myself to ask, could we get it via satillte from here or not? _________________

I lack sufficient information, seeing as how America stretches over four time zones and is not standardized under a single one like China. Nevertheless, based on my previous post in this thread, you should be able to figure it out. Look for it yourself.

I doubt it. I seriously doubt it. The main satellite providers in the US, namely DirecTV and Dish Network, among others, do carry a wide variety of international channels. However, the majority of these, as I've found, are either Spanish channels or Chinese channels. I'd advise you to do some research into your provider or perhaps inquire them, but I doubt that any Japanese channels are begin carried by the current providers, much less the channels that show the anime we desire. _________________ Today, these three players are after Big Bucks! Dear lord, China is under a single time zone? That must really screw up attempts to coordinate anything daylight or nighttime-related, although I can see how it has some benifits...
I just don't like how political boundaries screw up timezones sometimes...
Then again, here in Newfoundland, we have the screwed up UTC-3:30 timezone XD _________________

China stretches over more than one time zone, but according to Midnight Critic because well I know little about China, they just use one of the time zones as a standard one for the country, or atleast that is how I interpeded his post.
The US has four distinct timezones each with its own name, so I think he ment China has several timezones but only one is named STANDARD.
The US has Paciffic STANDARD time, Central STANDARD, and so on _________________ I didn't lose my mind, I sold it on eBay!
