| Hi I'm not sure if it is the case for me but is there more function for the shadow chip besides not being hurt except swords? Somehow I was able to do a stepcross with that chip when I charged my buster. Can anybody confirme that. I don't see it in the faqs. |

| I hardly rember this but I did use that chip a lot. And yes it is a Step Sword. That's one of the main reasons I used shadow so much |

I think its less from memory but I dont know the amount. Also I think other levels of shadow dont power up the attack.

Let's see... Seems like they all allow the Step Sword, but it does the damage of a Wide Sword - 80. Still useful though.

Well, the fact that you can only be hurt by swords is, in itself, a very powerful ability. If you're enemy lacks sword attacks, it means you can attack without worrying about taking damage. I personally think the StepSword was really only an added feature to make Shadow more than a defensive measure.

The StepSword is probably the other aspect of the Shadow Viruses. They can only be harmed by swords, or otherwise sharp weapons, and they attack you with Axes and knives.

Almost, but different. If I remember correctly, the Shadow effect lasts quite a bit longer than the Invis effect. Handy both if you need to avoid several attacks and if you want to save folder space.

Yeah, I know. But what I'm saying is that the StepSword isn't really neccesary for the chip. Not all chips integrate all the aspects of the virus you get them from, it just isn't neccesary.

I believe so, but the shadow has been reduced to a single chip, and the Stepsword effect was cut. Probably too powerful in its BN2 form.
