Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow *spoilers*

I love this game. They graphics and sprites look so much better than Aria of Sorrow. I like the magic seal system you use for the boss fights too. Although while I was fighting the [spoil:eeb45c9b9c]puppet master[/spoil:eeb45c9b9c] boss and i couldn't remember how to draw the magic seal that showed up a couple of times, but i could pause the game and practice drawing it till I got it right. In the middle of the fight too.

Anyone else wanna share what they like about this game?

The only seal I've messed up was the level 5 one on Death. I missed it about 213540928u523 times and I ended up having to restart.

I love it. One of my favorite Castlevania. Definitely worthy of being Aria of Sorrow's sequel.

A sequel to Aria of Sorrow? I've got to see this game.
Aria of Sorrow is great, what with Soma's soul-taking ability. It makes it the most interesting and challenging Castlevania I have seen so far. Does Dawn of Sorrow have the same gameplay style?

dawn of sorrow has just about the same gameplay style, but this time i feel the Soul Eater Ring is more valuable in this game because the more souls of one type you have the stronger the speacial attack is in some cases. Plus you can use the extra souls to make weapons in Yoko's shop too.

EDIT- for those who dont know the Soul Eater Ring increases the chance of getting the enemies soul once you defeat it.

I just got my 100% file done recently, all souls, map complete, all weapons fully upgraded(which I don't think actually adds to the 100% file, but I wanted them anyways), hard mode completed. Collecting souls in this game is a lot harder than in Aria of Sorrow.. bloody Valkyrie. :x Ah well, it was fun. =O

Also, the game is missing quite a few voice clips that were, according to Zan, in the original.

Also, try killing a devil next to a Persephone, his black hole will start to suck her in and she'll cover her skirt >.> Nice attention to detail.

Find a hall with nothing but candles or breakable objects, equip Black Panther and the Gold Ring, and dash through it over and over. Every other candle or so will drop a $500 bag, and you should have enough money after a while. You can also equip Mimic soul and find some spikes with a save point near it and run into the spikes over and over. When you're low on health, go heal in the save room, come back, and repeat.

two questions

any advice on soul collecting?

and beating boss rush mode? i keep on getting creamed on abandon

my stats

i use death scythe, 7 shirt and megasomehthing ring

use red forgot but blue is devil and yellow is ghost dancer maximum level. please help

also my level is 62.

For soul collecting, use Joyeuse, Three Sevens, Soul Eater, Flying Humanoid, and Ghost Dancer. Don't expect to get souls after a few kills, either. A lot of level 3 rarity ones can take hours.

Use Alura Une, Skeleton Farmer, and any items that boost your Intelligence to get through boss rush pretty quickly. The fastest I've gotten through it is 2:44:38.

Also, it's "Abaddon."

what does flying humanoid do? is those one that make big fireball thing that is fired by those octupus like monster

what does alura une do? it's an attack soul?

also there is one section i can';t seem to open. in silence ruin left of the save there is this block of ice with a red ball in the blocks and up is a stair case with a big slab of concrete blocking the way how do i get rid of it?
