I wanted to see if anyone found at least SOME of the english voice actors of the show good. Come here to post your opinions on them, list the ones you actually LIKE, if you think they should be done by someone else and make guesses of who you think should voice upcoming characters. PLEASE do NOT come here to complain about how they all sound like surfurs or some crap like that, that wasn't why I made this thread. Here are my opinions:
Lan- Alex Doduk was PERFECT for him, in fact I liked him more than Netto's Japanese voice. Then along comes Brad Swaile to replace him for no specific reason. At first I thougth it had to do with some child acting laws or soemthing, r maybe puberty...of course then Alex is still playing Kohaku in Inuyasha and sounds no different -.-
Megaman- I think Andrew Francias was an ok pick for Megaman. The surfur accent is NATURAL dammit, it's not some sick joke >> Plus Andrew is another kid voice actor, and I've heard what Lan and Megaman sound like with high pitched voices in english from Onimusha blade Warriors...it ain't pretty...
Mayl- Brit Wilson's yet another kid VA, suits her well as far as I know.
Roll- Her old one sounded like a MAN...her newer one sounds very close to her Japanese counterpart, YAY ^^
Chaud- I don't care what anyone says, Chaud had the BEST voice in all of NT Warrior. Even if he DIDN'T sound like a girl, Bill Switzer did an amazing job :3
Protoman- David Kaye = AWESOME, nuff said.
Dex- Despite him not being voiced by a kid, he didn't sound like one in the original anyway. Tony Sampson did a good job on him, especially at thoe points where he makes him sound like Eddy XD
Gutsman- It's Scott McNiel dammit! He's used to doing overbearing brute voices.
Tori- Reece Thompson, yet another kid VA. Tori sounded slightly higher than the other in the original, he had another very good choce ^^
Iceman- Taxi Driver...ICK...
Miyu- Anna Cummer, she sounds hot :3
Skullman- looking past the retarted bone jokes, Brian Drummond did an ok job.
Yai- I'm not sure if her VA is a kid, but she's another who sounds devilishly close to her original.
Glyde- I'm sure all of the fangirls love his original voice way too much, but his dub one was aright. Sounds like it's him talking >>
Sal- Sal is now the Megaman Sango XD Kel Sheriden was a good choice ^^
Woodman- I don't hear enough of him, but his voice is bearable.
Higsby- Nothing will ever replace "DE MASU!!" but him having "huh?" at the end of every sentence is retarted, the one he has now seems like it fits.
Numberman- sound exactly like the original, but him sounding like Double D was hysterical XD
Maysa/Commander Beef- gewd
Sharkman- could be a lot better, but not the worst one in the world.
Ms. Mariko- I'm more used to Janyse jaud doing ebil girls, but she did a good job on sensei o.o
Ribbita- Her Japanese voice reminds me of Mireille from .hack// on crack, her dub one's aright.
Dr. Hikari- there are times when he sounds like he's younger than his own son...
Ms. Hikari- same type of "mom" voice I see in every OG dubbed anime. Twas aright.
Mr. Famous- British Accents rule X3
Raoul- surprised he was even kept in the show at all? He sounds like he should :3
Thunderman- Megaman from Transformers...o_o;; yeah...
Toadman- I've only heard him once, same person who plays Ribbita >>
Dave- Kirby Morrow = AWESOME.
Quickman- I wish he sounded Austrailian XD
Pride- I was hoping for Moneca Stori (Kagome) but Jillian Micheals did good ^^
Knightman- not very good, he should have been deeper.
Rush- I like his US barks better than hearing him scream "OW!" every two seconds...
Chisao- nother kid VA, suited him, blah blah blah.
Tamako- I never thought I'd hear Kikyo's voice being all happy-go-lucky" ._.
Metalman- BAD...
Count Zap- both of his voices scare the hell outta me .-.
Elecman- once again: Kirby Morrow = AWESOME.
Mr. Match- i'm sure everyone hates his, but I've gorwn attached to the Scottish accent 
Fireman- the usual "rough throated tough guy" voice for US villains. Not really too good >>
Maddy- her english VA is used to doing whiny lil bee-yotches, seems to fit her XD
Colorman- I like his psyhcotic Japanese voice, but his english one is funny in its own way. COSMO ON CRACK!!11
Yahoot- suits him >>
Magicman- I liked him more back in the early episodes when he sounded more like Naraku, now he's a bit more cheesy...
Stoneman- BLARGH...-.-
Bombman- BLARGH...-.-
Dr. Wily- He sounds like evil Myoga XD
Pharoahman- not bad, one of the only times I've ever heard Mike Kopsa voice act anyway...
Bass- His was aright, but I just keep laughing knowing that his voice is done by the guy who plays Ed from Ed, Edd & Eddy XDXDXD
Shoryou- very close to the original.
Arashi- w00t, Brian Dobson should do more voices on NT Warrior...
Airman- -.- horrible...
Shadowman- ...I think my opinion on his has spoken for itself on more than one occasion during my time on this forum
Freezeman- AWESOME.
Cutman- I was really hoping he'd sound like Igor from back in the old show...
Gauss- also close to the original.
Magnetman- MEGAATROOOON!!! WHYYYYYY!!!!???[/Starscream]
Heatman- sounded better than Skullman.
Planetman- ALSO close to the original.
Napalmman- -.- meh...
Drillman- MY EARS BLEED...
Sanukiman- both versons scare me ._.
Shademan- YAy Scott McNiel again ^^
Beastman- I'LL GET YOU GADGET...
Bubbleman- I like this one more than the Japanese voice, I couldn't STAND the freakin "puku" thing...
Flashman- a new voice for Ocean Group as far as I know o.o RIGHT HERE ON Q104.3!!!
Bowlman- Colin Murdoch again, good choice :3
Plantman- not the to good, but at least they gave him an accent >>
Yuri- HOT X3
Needleman- I miss SHISHISHISHAAA!!!11 way too much... |

| There were good ones and bad ones, but the only ones that really stood out as really good to me were Magicman (if you ignore the rhyming), Planetman, Count Zap, Yahoot, Heatman and Princess Pride. |

Honestly, i think ALL of the voices are awsome. Why do people think Megaman has a "surfur dude" voice anyway? He sounds nothing like one! Megaman's voice actor is perfect. So is Lan's.

I think my most fav dubbed voices are lan and protoman's voices. Megamsn's voice is ok, Roll and Maylu jsut dont' sound right. I think the over all voices are ok.. I'm a bit upset with chaud's voice though. I overall perfer the original voices though, but the dubbed are ok as well.

I actually liked the rhyming XD Magicman along with that guy from Rave Master, are some of the only anime characters I've seen who can rhyme without making it sound half-assed. |
