Django's Revelation - Shademan x Burnerman, OOCness, PWP. PG

Shademan x Burnerman. Of course it's for our loveable Planty. It broke my brain but here it is!

I don't own Shademan, Burnerman, Django, or Otenko. I am, however, Shademan's landlord. Man, he's a messy guy. All that blood...

Django crept down the hallway of the nearly-abandoned building in the Cyberworld where his quarry was currently hiding. His feet made little to no sound on the simulated carpet, and he spared himself a brief moment to marvel at the technology that had produced such a realistic environment. Had he not known better he would have sworn he was still in the real world.

Then he was at his destination, Gun Del Sol in hand. He tensed against the wall in preparation, but before he could commence his attack he was stopped by the sound of voices coming from his target’s room. Curious despite himself, he stopped to listen.

“Do you have any threes?” an unfamiliar voice asked.

“No,” his quarry replied. “Go fish. Or let me do the honors.”

There was the sound of movement, then a minor yelp of pain. Django peeked around the corner, weapon ready, to see his quarry, Shademan, straddling a red navi. Shademan’s fangs were buried in the Navi’s neck. There were many other similar marking, leading Django to conclude that the digital vampire fed the most on that one Navi. He prepared to free the red Navi but was halted yet again by the muttered, “I wish you’d stop doing that, Shademan. It’s starting to get painful.”

Shademan smirked. “You know you like it, Burnerman. Here’s your card.” The vampire dropped the card on top of the red Navi and returned to his hand of cards.

“How many times was that?” Burnerman complained as he retrieved his card and stuck it haphazardly into his hand. He blinked. “I got a three. Have any aces?”

Shademan scowled and handed the card over, but even Django could see the smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth. It was Burnerman’s turn to pounce Shademan, but instead of biting he kissed the other. The cards were scattered everywhere, but the game seemed to be forgotten.

“I love you,” Burnerman sighed into the kiss.

Shademan’s reply was another bite. It was more of a nip, though, drawing only a little blood across Burnerman’s cheek. Burnerman didn’t seem to mind.

“That was number 434,” Shademan whispered as Burnerman went to kiss him again.

Django’s eyes widened as the two Navis continued to kiss each other and Shademan's teeth were brought to bear. He beat a hasty retreat down the hallway.

As he walked down the stairs to meet with Otenko outside, he thought back on Shademan’s behavior.

“I can’t believe it,” he said to himself. He emerged outside and saw Otenko waiting patiently for him, pretending to be a flower for the sake of the Navis that milled about. “A vampire acting vaguely human…”

He stopped and looked up into the simulated sky. A smile drifted onto his face as he caught sight of clouds that threatened rain.

“I’ll let him live for now,” he decided.

As soon as that red Navi was out of the way, Shademan was a dead vampire. Until then… even vampires deserved to cherish love.

Aw, this was adorable :3. Quatre Winner, you are a great writer. I enjoyed this a lot. It's kinda funny how Burnerman kissed Shademan and Shademan bites him back. And this whole time they're playing Go Fish while Django watches ^^. Great job, 10/10

Hmmm...nice. Even if it did shatter my cerebral cortex...

As always, the quality that we have come to expect is presented in this fic to its fullest. I never thought that a simple game of cards would degenerate into a situation like that, but hey, it's your call, and it was a pleasure to read. Great work.

Django had the perfect reaction. It was cute. Shademan and Burnerman is making more and more sense to me... Wasnt there something on the IRC channel where Shademan would bite Burnerman?

I feel sorry for Burnerman, his love is going to be killed when he leaves. Evil vampire hunters. It is a nice story though Quatre.
