Hello! Thanks for clicking into this topic I really appreaciate it! Before you read I would like to tell you that I'm spanish, My english is good but If you see some flaw or want to make a suggestion I really will appreciate it!

*** Before you start reading, you have to know that I have based this story in MM BC but just in a part, only a few ideas to make another story. Don’t freak out if you see some kind of drastic changes in Mary’s background and age, since there’s no much information about her. And yes, there will be some spoilers of the game! If you don’t like Enzan Ijuin or Mary or don’t even like MMBN, don’t read this XD.

Heartbeat Chip.

My name is Mary, Mary Towa. I know it’s silly to be writing this on a notebook instead of a computer but in some way I feel this more private than that… mmm… let’s see… with what do I start? Well, my mom is French and my dad is Japanese. It’s funny because…

- ¡Ah! - The girl almost jumped out of her seat when the plane started rumbling. She had blonde hair, a little bit curly and her skin was somewhat peachy. Her face was covered with freckles witch gave her lemon colored eyes a softer look. She was dressed in a comfortable way, because that was going to be a long trip - ¡Ah… what’s happening!

- Hehe… calm down! - A voice came out of her necklace-PET, Mary took it and looked at her navi. She was dressed in yellow with orange and blue, she had two pigtails made of 5 rings each and one in her helmet. - We taking off Mary! There’s nothing’ to worry about!

Mary sighed deeply, she lay on the seat, in that moment she was in a fight to ACDC City, Yaito invited her specially.

Mary wasn’t very fond of the Netbattle even though she had a navi of her own but Ring didn’t feel the same way, she wanted to fight to the extreme.

Since that moment the flight was peaceful, without any turbulence or things like that. The flight attendants gave an excellent service, especially with the older people.

Mary was traveling alone for the fifth time in her 14 years old; her parents, both very successful and equally busy, gave freedom to their daughter but this travels without any company were boring, she didn’t have that much friends.

When the sun started setting, the plane started landing in the Airport. Mary got out of the plane with the little bag she had and went inside the Airport heading to the food court, she was hungry. The perfect place, a cafeteria, she bought an orange juice and sat to enjoy it. She observed how a bunch of men in black where –protecting- someone who was walking calmly surrounded by a multitude of screaming fan-girls.
- Enzan! - One photographer said, trying to get his attention but his efforts just made the bodyguards to make him leave.

Mary raised an eye brow, still taking little sips of the juice. She took her PET and looked at Ring.

- Hey, who’s Enzan? - Ring’s expression was full of doubt; the little navi didn’t have any clue of who he was.

- Um… I don’t really know, Mary

- Maybe he’s a movie star! - The girl smiled happily looking at Ring who was doing the same. She looked at the multitude again. - Whoa, people really get desperate to get an autograph, right Ring?

- You are ri… MARY! - Ring started pointing towards a man who took her bag and ran away. The bad had the most important things she needed in this trip.

The situation wasn’t good; inside that bag were her money and the passages for the other flight she was supposed to take to get to ACDC city. Without thinking it twice, the blonde filled with guts, started running as fast as she could, the man was trying to confuse her by getting into the mob. Mary immediately threw herself in and tackled the guy, ripping a part of her bag, the guy disappeared. Mary fell into the floor, breathing barely at the same time she tried to get up.

The multitude dismissed, letting their idol breath. Mary’s –luggage- was spread all over the floor and so was her PET.

- Mary!- Ring screamed, she was feeling horribly guilty of what had happened. It was her fault.

Enzan Ijuin, famous boy, owner of a well-know company, and one of the best Netbattlers ever, him and his navi, Blues, have changed the net battle world like their –rivals- did, Netto and Rockman. His blue eyes watched the entire spectacle, the blond girl tackling the inexperienced thief and then how her PET got out of her necklace; the guy ended taking her bag away.

The boy dressed with a black shirt, military pants and red jacket, bent and picked up the PET and watched how her navi was screaming her operator’s name which was still lying on the floor.

- Mary! - Ring noticed the boy who held the PET in that moment, desperate the little navi asked for help. - Please, help her!

-… - His gaze demanded a reasonable explanation, Ring sighed deeply and pointed to his face.

- Mary is not like any person… - Ring didn’t have the time to explain all her life to him so she quickened. - She can’t run and I mean it! She forced herself to do it and if she overdoes it her life could be in danger…!

It looked like Enzan wasn’t convinced at all, his cold attitude and lack of interest made him hard to persuade.

- Show me that’s true and not some kind of idiotic joke.

Ring went mad at this; the PET screen quickly changed showing a little sub-screen with her vital symbols.

- This PET is connected with Mary’s bracelet… it is a disguised… - She could see how the boy’s eyes widened a bit, he knew what it was.

- Ring… check if you have my… - Mary was up, and about to collapse again, one of the body guards held Mary so that she won’t fall - I-In my bag…

- Mary, the man took the bag, I’m sorry… - Ring’s voice was, for the first time in years, very serious and sad - H-HEY WHAT ARE YOU… WHAT’S YOU PROBLEM!! - Suddenly Mary’s PET was thrown randomly to someone in the crowd. Enzan disappeared.

- Where did he go? - One of the journalists asked nobody in particular.

He thought he had gotten away. The thief devoted to look into Mary’s bag: he found the passage to ACDC City and 4500 zeny in cash which made him smile in joy. He took his “price “and hided them in his worn-out coat. Minutes later he started walking, still with the bag in his hands towards the airport gates.

Enzan stopped near the check-in luggage area, searching in the crowd for a blue bag with white dots in the bottom. That was all he remembered, everything happened too fast that he didn’t even pick up details of the bag, he only looked at the piece he had left of the bag.

- Tch, Why I did get myself into this… - The blue-eyed boy started to get tired of this mess but when he thought of going back empty handed, a bag showed in the line and with it the exact same guy who stole it. Enzan quickly attacked him, but the man wasn’t that inexperienced. He dodged it. “Give that bag back before you start to regret it.”

- Well, well! What do we have here, looking for a fight, kiddo? - The smile in the guy’s face was challenging, making him slightly angry. - You defeat me in a netbattle and you get the bag.

This guy surely had no idea in what and with whom he was messing but Enzan thought he had to discover it in the hard way - Alright, there’s a plug-in port right here, let’s see what you got.

And yes, there was a Plug-in port just beside them in the restricted access door, He’s was going to risk it.

- Plug-In, Blues! Transmission! - Obviously the other player was surprised, he never expected him to be “THE ENZAN” and he was going to remember this battle all his life.

- Um… Um… WHOA NO! - He simply ran off, dropping the bag on his track. Enzan just smiled at how he had showed guts to fight him and then ran away like some kind of dog. Very funny.

- What? This is it? God - Blues said, very annoyed - Next time find someone who even PLUG their navi in, Enzan.

He bent and got the bag, opened it and searched for the pills he was asked for, thanks to god they were there.

Her eyes opened, Mary felt a lot better and with tons of energy. She was sitting in a chair at the airport. Suddenly she remembered what happened: the tickets, the flight… she had lost them!

- Mary! Finally you are awake! - Ring said, happy to see her friend better, once again, but Mary’s face wasn’t telling she same thing - What’s wrong?

- Ring! We lost the tickets… and, and… the money! WE LOST THE…! - She was very worried now; someone was waiting for her in ACDC City! - We are stuck in the airport!

- Oh! Ring smiled, Mary didn’t remember everything exactly; the pills had that side effect, though - Mary, don’t you remember what happened

- Yeah… a guy stole my bag and… - she stopped for a second - that boy… brought it back…? - Mary started to remember everything, but she was alone in the airport, where was he?

- Yup! Thanks to him you are okay, I don’t want to imagine what could have happened… if you didn’t take the pills…

Mary nodded and then she looked around, the area wasn’t crowded, it was almost empty. The blonde girl got up of her chair, grabbing her bag but something got her attention. The blue eyed boy was boarding the plane with a serious look in his face, he eyed Mary.
- Hey! Hey, Wait! - He turned to her, surprised to see the girl fully awake. - Oh it’s you… what? You got robbed again?

- Oh, no, no, no…! It’s just… I wanted to thank you for everything, maybe because of that you lost your flight… too - Enzan arched an eye brow.

- No problem, and no, I didn’t lost it, I have my own.

- Your own… airplane? - She exclaimed, and looked through the big sized window, that plane, the only one there, was HIS?

He only limited himself to nod.

- Whoa! You surely got money! - Ring was as surprised as Mary, but of course she was way too open.

- Ring! Don’t say that! Keep you tiny mouth shut! - Ring always embarrassed her when she was talking to someone, that little navi just can’t be quiet! - Sorry about that.

- Mary! Maybe we can ask him to give us a ride to ACDC City! - Ring exclaimed again, making her mad at the same time.

- Ring! What did I just.

- … That’s where I’m heading - He said calmly, with no expression in his face - Only if you can keep that navi of yours shut for 30 minutes.

Mary giggled, Ring was the one embarrassed this time. - Thank you… um… - She couldn’t remember his name.

- Ijuinn, Enzan Ijuinn - He started walking towards the gate, Mary blinked a few times before she walked after him.

- Oh! My name is Mary! Mary Towa! - She smiled - Nice to meet you, after all!

Cute work. I always thought her and kai should be in more games then just BCC. I'd like to read the next chapter when you get it done.

The story is very cute! ^^ I'm glad to see someone writing about Mary and Ring, they're my favorite females out of the whole series. 6___9 So ignored...Please keep writting! ^___^ (Sorry I can't give better critque, I'm weakest in revewing written work. XD;;)

It does not matter. It was long enough.

For a first work, this is rather good. Besides the random grammatical errors peppered throughout the work, this was done rather nicely. Although I do not know much about Mary or Ring, as I have never played BCC, I must say I am surprised that you decided to focus on Mary. I honestly didn't know of her condition, and you characterized that well.

Hee. CUTE! ^_^
It's amazing how well written this is, seeing as English isn't your first language. There are a few grammatical errors, and some things are worded funny... but it makes it feel more... Mary-like. I never really played as her much in BCC, but she doesn't speak English (or japanese) very well either, yes? Yes, I remember Ring translating for her...
...I now have an urge to go back and play that game again, even though it's kind of sucky... Or maybe it's just me that stinks at it. Hah!
(By the way, what's wrong with Mary? What disease-type-thing does she have? Or should I just go play BCC and find out?)

This is very, as some of the people before me have said, 'cutely' done. However, a small problem is that Mary never met Enzan before the BCC comp... But that doesn't detract from the overall quality of the story. Nice job!

Chapter two: When data goes wrong.

“This is amazing!” The airplane was huge, it’s soft, silky carpeting made of a ocean blue color standing up the white leather of the seats which were two times bigger than the regular ones. Mary was totally shocked by the magnificent appearance of the place. “I never thought that a plane could be this fancy…!”

Enzan remained silent while he sat in the first seats; Mary followed him and sat beside him. He glanced at her, waiting another comment.

“So… you aren’t a movie star?” It didn’t matter how low it sounded but the boy chuckled “What’s wrong?”

“Um… Mary? I don’t think he’s a movie star…” Ring replied, translating her companion’s expression.

“Well… I ask because I saw all those people in the airport…”

“Oh, those people.” He remembered the airport commotion. “I’m an official Netbattler.”

“What’s a…”

“Cool! You have to be really good in battles!” Ring interrupted Mary’s sentence, but she couldn’t help it, she was really excited.

“Well... you are right.” Enzan replied. Nobody has showed so much surprise, like if she had never heard of him.

“I bet Mary and I can beat you!” Ring said cheerfully.

Mary gasped, “How can you say such thing! I have ne-“The boy got up and went to the back of the airplane. Mary looked at her PET; she didn’t have any good battle chip.

“What’s this?” Mary said, looking at the small battle arena that was hidden in the back of the airplane.

“It’s a battle arena. Plug your navi in.” He said it simply. Mary’s eyes widened. “Your navi said that you can beat me, aren’t you going to prove it?”

“Er… Er… I don’t think that Ring meant it… hehehe…”

“Oh, come on! Of course I mean it!” Ring was actually jumping inside her PET.

Enzan raised an eye brow and got his PET out of his pockets. “Plug in, Blues Transmission!”

A bright red light enlightened the room, and then disappeared. His navi was standing in the battle arena, waiting for his opponent, in this case, Ring.

Mary sighed deeply; he was going to laugh at her if she told him that she didn’t know how to net battle. “What would you say if…”

“If you don’t want to Netbattle don’t say that you can beat me.” He didn’t sound happy; Mary bit her lips.

“Well… I don’t know how!” Suddenly his jaw dropped. “Ah! Now you will laugh at me!”

“You… what?” He was amazed, and he didn’t get amazed so easily. “Wait a minute, really, you don’t know?”

“Um… well, I do but…”

“Plug your navi in…” Enzan placed his hand on his forehead. “Let’s use these 30 minutes to teach you how.”

A smile appeared on Mary’s face and she proceeded to unleash the necklace of her PET. “Plug in! Ring, Transmission!”

Ring logged into the battle arena, really excited. She looked at Blues who was still standing there, without saying a thing. Ring got a little bit closer to him. “Hi! I’m Ring!”

“I’m Blues.” He didn’t seem the talkative type but Ring just smiled.

“So that’s your navi…” Mary stared at Blues. “I’m amazed. He looks almost the same as you!”

Enzan’s smirk was obvious. “Let’s see, how many battle chips do you have?” Mary’s face changed. “What now…”

“I only have two!” Mary said, very embarrassed. A guy like him maybe had hundreds and hundreds of battle chips, but she wasn’t really into net battling. Enzan sighed frantically.

“This will be harder than I thought... Let’s see, hand me your PET.” Mary gave her pet to Enzan, he started to press different buttons but with no success. “Um… yeah, I don’t think your navi is made to fight.”

“Ehh…!! Why?” Ring demanded an answer.

“It’s because you don’t have any default attack.” Blues said, getting her attention. “In my case I have this sword.”

“So you mean… you can use that sword whenever you want?” Ring inquired.

“Exactly, I can use this sword whenever I like without using a battle chip.” He replied. “If you don’t have any of those attacks you will depend on battle chips and it can get dangerous when you don’t have any.”

“Mmm… how do I get one?”

“Er, it comes with your program archive.”

“So we can’t fight?” Mary asked, resting her hands in her hips.

“Not technically… but I suggest you changing that PET” Enzan said, looking at the medium sized PET.

“Changing it?”

“Look at my PET, it’s the last technology.” Enzan handed over his PET to Mary. “It’s lighter and faster.”

Mary examination of Enzan’s PET was short, and then she asked curiously. “How much does it cost?”

Enzan blinked a few times. “Over… um… 250 000 zenys I think.”

The girl almost fainted in that moment. “T-that’s 10 times the money that I have...! Suddenly I started loving my PET…”

The plane started rumbling lightly, and the –fasten your belts- sign turned on. “We are expecting a little turbulence when we land; please fasten your belts, thank you.”

“We better do that.” Enzan and Mary unplugged their navis out of the battle arena and proceeded to sit. “Where did I put my necklace?”

“I think you dropped it, Mary!” Ring said.

“No, no… I think it’s here somewhere in the seat…” Mary tried to move and look inside the cushion but the belt didn’t let her move. “Um… I’m going to unfasten this thing”

“Wait!” Enzan tried to stop her but the plane moved abruptly to the left and Mary’s PET and necklace ended flying over the place. The movements got more violent as soon as the plane started touching the ground. When it stopped Enzan got up. “Are you okay?”

“I’m okay… but… my PET is off, it doesn’t want to turn on…” Mary slapped lightly the device but it just wouldn’t go on.

“It got hit pretty hard in the back, look.” Enzan pointed to the back of the PET which had a deep dent. He wanted to look closer to the PET so he took it off Mary’s grasp.

“Hey!” the girl said angrily. He grabbed her PET all of sudden, surprising her.

“Don’t freak out, I just want to see other damages.”

“Do you think Ring is okay?” Mary got up and cleaned the dirt off her shirt.

“Her data is safe, don’t worry.” He frowned. “But… if the PET is off for a long of period of time the data could be lost.”

“Enzan, we have arrived ACDC City Airport.” Blues said, stopping Mary from saying anything. She just kept silent, she had so many things in her head that she didn’t know where she was heading, and Enzan just keep guiding her on the way to the hallway.

Mary took hold of her luggage and left the plane with Enzan. “Um… what will I do with my PET?”

They kept walking in the Airport’s lobby, the people running and walking all over the place. The Airport was a bit smaller than Netopia’s but it was still full of people.

“Mary!” She turned around and found Yaito waving at her; she was waiting for her to come all this time. The little girl with two pigtails ran over Mary. “I was so worried! I thought the plane crashed or…” Yaito glanced at Enzan who was standing beside Mary without saying a word. “Enzan? What are you doing here…?”

“You two know each other?” The blond girl asked, intrigued of how Yaito reacted to his presence.

“Hmp, how did you end up with him?” Mary sighed, remembering all the airport mess made her stomach twirl.

“It’s a long, long story but Enzan really helped me!” Mary grinned at him. “I mean it Enzan, If you hadn’t recovered my pills I would have been dead by now…”

There was an uncomfortable moment of silence; Enzan just limited himself to nod and Yaito dragged Mary into her limousine.

”Mary we have to go! You have to meet all my friends!” Yaito said, no letting Mary to say good bye to Enzan. “Thank you for bringing her to ACDC City Enzan. I’m grateful for that!” She waved good bye and closed the limousine door.

“No problem.” Enzan replied. “Next time try making it on time.”

The trip in the limousine was very fast, it stopped in front of an enormous house with the most beautiful gardens ever, the color of the flowers combined with the bright leaves of the trees made the most spectacular view. The tennis court, the pool and the numerous green areas made Yaito’s house like the ones in a dream land.

“Whoa… Yaito, your house is gorgeous!” Mary was still hypnotized by the colorful flowers that she didn’t notice something was missing.

“Hehehe… thank you! I think it’s clear that I like flowers, especially roses!” Yaito smiled affectionately towards Mary. “Um… Mary what’s wrong?”

“Eep! Enzan has my PET!” She cried out, when Enzan wanted to have a closer look of her PET he took it, and Yaito made her go so fast that she didn’t have time to ask for it.

“It’s okay; we can send him an e-mail later.” Yaito said calmly.

“You don’t understand! Ring’s data…!”

Enzan a movie star, god some girls would want that :]. I liked the detail of getting the PET broken and Yaito pushing her out of the Airport so the story has a good catch until next issue.

Hmm.

I am intrigued. Very much so, as it seems the development of the characters is progressing at a good rate. As for the art proposal, I think it may be best to develop the story a bit more before you decide to illustrate it. However, if you do, it would certainly make it stand apart from many of the other fics in this section. Good job.

Please, please. Just call me Midnight. Many of the people around here do that. If that doesn't flit your fancy you can also refer to me as MC. But I digress...

Anyway...I stand by what I said before--work on the storyline first. If you wish to doujin this story later, it's probably best to do so when you have ideas to base the doujin off of. You want to focus on getting the storyline developed to a point first before turning your attention to the illustrations. After all--what good are illustrations for a story if the story is getting stalled and does not proceed?

^^ I have thought about it, and you are right Midnight, I really appreaciate you caring for this little fanfiction and I'm about to finish the third chapter and making it more interesting than the second one.

((Sorry for the double post))

After a long while, I managed to finish this chapter. Forcing mysef to write it English based without Spanish base to help me, so I was kind of difficult but that's why I have been studying English like... whole my life?

^^; I dedicate this chapter to Midnight because he had helped me so much with his advices, thanks!

Heartbeat Chip
Chapter three

Yaito was dragging her for the fifth time in the day but Mary couldn’t stop thinking about Ring’s data or if she was going to see Enzan again… it’s not like she cared, anyway.

Her blonde friend didn’t use a limousine this time, partly because they only were to cross the street and meet up in the park.

“I’m so glad you came, Mary!” Yaito said, almost jumping off her feet. The two girls arrived to the park where a squirrel statue made the place look childish and it some kind of sphere with holes and a few benches around.

“Hey Yaito!” Someone on the other side of the park yelled at her, the short girl turned around and noticed a group of kids, around Mary’s age.

One was wearing a blue bandana with a red and black symbol, the other boy, incredibly fat and tall with a punk hairdo (A/N: Sorry I just can’t stand Dekao, no offense to anyone.) And finally a pink haired girl with a cute hairpin which also had some kind of symbol but this time it was light pink and yellow, almost with the shape of a heart.

Yaito waved at them happily, the group walked close to them also waving at the girl.

“Sorry if we kept you waiting,” the pink haired girl apologized, Yaito was know for her short temper and if she says five minutes… you have to be there in three. “Netto was sleeping so I couldn’t wake him up… I was about to throw Rockman out the window.”

“You what…!” The boy with the bandana got out of his sleepy state, with his brown eyes wide open.

The giggled happily and patted his shoulder. Yaito coughed.

“Well, anyhow.” She began talking. “I wanted to introduce to you a dear friend of mine…!”

Everyone looked at the blonde girl behind Yaito; Mary started sweating she has never, ever been with so many people at the same time.

“She’s from Netopia! She came all the way here because I asked her to!” Yaito said, placing her hands in her hips and looking at Mary. “They are my friends!”

“Welcome to ACDC City! I’m Meiru Sakurai!” The pink haired girl smiled warmly, and then she took hold of her pink PET. “She’s my Net navigator, Roll!”

The pink navi with green eyes smiled as well.

“Heya there, my name’s Dekao” The big boy said with a wide smile in his face, he also introduced his navi, it was like some sort of machine based and he looked strong... and dumb. “This is Gutsman, hehe…”

“Stop scaring her, Dekao!” The boy with the blue bandana said jokingly, and then he introduced himself, making a hero stance. “I’m the super ultra perfect speci-… Auch Meriu-Chan!”

“Stop making a fool of yourself, Netto!”

“Well. I’m Netto Hikari!” The boy said, looking very ashamed.

Mary sweat dropped, anime style.

“Oh, and this is my pal, Rockman.” He showed his PET to Mary, the blue navi waved at her friendly, so did Mary.

“Nice to meet you all, my name’s Mary Towa…” She looked toward her chest searching for her necklace but it was gone. “Oh yeah…”

“It’s something wrong, Mary?” Yaito asked, Mary was usually talkative but today she was silent.

“I already told you Yaito, Ring’s…” The short girl eyes widened, she remember she did mention that in their way to the park but she forgot!.

“I’m sorry Mary, but where’s your PET?”

“It’s…”

“Did you solve the problem?” the deep voice sounded intimidating, even though his face wasn’t showing.

“Er- Er, sir, we are doing the best we can but we can’t get his data.” Another voice answered. “He’s too strong, even our best men can’t beat him in our dimensional area.”

“I don’t care” the other voice said, obviously without a backup plan. “They gave us the archives of Nebula for some reason.”

“Sir, Nebula archives are incomplete.”

“As I thought” A wicked smirk crept into his face. “I think we have to pay the Officials a little visit…”

If she thought Yaito’s house was big, she was very, very wrong.

Mary stared in awe at Enzan’s house, it was beautiful but it was also tightly guarded; she was reconsidering about the movie star thing.

Yaito and Mary got out of the limousine and approached to the big gate, of course they were stopped in their tracks.

“Stop right there, ladies.” One of the guards said, looking at Yaito. She was an international figure recognized as Enzan’s rival when it came to technology matters.

“I’m Yaito Ayano.” The short girl said with an overconfident tone.

“May I ask why you are here?” The guard asked. “Do you have an appointment?”

“I’m sorry but no. I’m not interested in seeing Enzan for any issue or whatever.” Yaito scowled.

“Excuse me but, I’m the one who wants to see him.” Mary said; the girl was getting impatient. She didn’t know if Ring was okay.

“I would like to let you pass, Miss…” He couldn’t recall a name; the guard arched an eyebrow asking mentally who she was.

“Mary Towa” She simply answered.

“I see, Mary Towa” The guard looked at the manor. “I can’t let you pass; Enzan-sama is having an important meeting with The Officials.”

“What… but mister I need to…” Mary tried to get past the fence but he basically wouldn’t let her.

“Don’t make me call police” He said harshly.

Mary sighed and turned to Yaito. “Now what?”

Yaito sighed and then looked at her PET, “Glyde, could you send Enzan an e-mail?” The short girl’s Net Navi, Glyde, appeared in the screen.

But Mary couldn’t wait, she need to know if Ring was okay in the shortest time possible. “Yaito I don’t think that…”

Mary’s sentence was cut out. She was suddenly frozen in there. Standing in front of her and Yaito were computer viruses.

Real viruses.

“Wh-what?” The guard was shocked too.

“A dimensional area?!” Yaito almost yelled. “I thought only the officials were the ones capable of setting those up!”

The girls tried to escape but they were trapped inside the dimensional dome.

“This… thing doesn’t want to let us go!” The netopian girl tried to go through the barrier but it was impossible because colored polygons delimited the area. “Yaito-sama… those… those viruses can hurt us?”

Sweat was running down the girl’s big forehead. Yaito would love to have Glyde pop out of her PET like some kind of superhero, but in order to come to the real world…

“Miss Ayano, behind you!” The guard yelled abruptly, but the young girl was immediately attacked by one virus. The short mistress fell in the floor and her head smashed it as she landed. Mary and the Guard couldn’t help but gasp.

“Yaito!” Mary swallowed all her fears and hesitations and dragged Yaito away from the viruses.

Mary and Yaito ended deep inside the large garden, protected by the bushes and statues that decorated the place.

“...I don’t know what to do…” Mary said, her voice sounding tired. Her green eyes trailed down to Yaito, checking her and making sure she was okay and not bleeding; Mary’s hands tried to reach her necklace but she only touched her shirt. “What would be Ring’s advice…”

Mary, Mary…

The netopian girl couldn’t help but remember all the things that little navi had done for her, even if she wasn’t beside her… physically. When Mary looked at her PET in the mornings she always saw Ring’s bright smile.

You are so over-dramatic!

Mary’s eyes opened slowly.

“If Ring was here… she would say that…” Mary smiled and dragged Yaito inside the big Manor. There was a back door in the garden.

Mary didn’t detail the house decoration, this time she was more worried about Yaito’s state and Ring’s whereabouts. With a great effort she pulled Yaito and positioned her in a couch.

The manor looked almost dead. The cars outside were severely damaged by the virus activity and it looks that they were not going to stop.

Mary bitted her lip.

“Mary-chan” The blond girl heard a little voice coming from Yaito’s direction, but it wasn’t her. She approached to the stairs and kneeled in front of Yaito. “Here in her bag.”

She blinked a few times before realizing Yaito had a bag. She opened it very carefully and grabbed the blue Device. “Yaito’s PET?”

The PET looked a lot different from hers and way more advanced.

“I’m Yaito’s Personal Assistant, Glyde.” The navi inside the PET bowed to her quickly. “This dimensional area is very different from the usual ones, Mary-chan”

“Usual ones? I don’t-“

A loud crash was heard behind Mary; the curtains were ripped all over the window, and the glass fled across the room. Mary quickly ducked and managed to dodge the big pieces of the massive window.

With the entrance hall window broken, the army of viruses entered to the place.

“N-no!” Mary gasped at the sight of so many viruses, she looked at Yaito’s PET and asked drastically. “Why in the world are you still there! Help me and Yaito please!”

Glyde sighed sadly. “I cannot” He simply stated making Mary get more desperate.

“What do you mean with that?” She groaned. “It’s no use, I’m cornered…”

Just before the blonde girl could shut her eyes tightly and wait for her obvious unhappy ending, something made the viruses froze; yes… they were really frozen and then they disappeared, not only the ones in the hall, but all on the field.

“How…?”

“I think this time I was the one who made it on time.”

The voice startled her, she turned to the stairs and there was someone she knew, even though he was disguised and a visor didn’t let her see his blue eyes, Mary knew it.

*reads disclaimer* Aww...you shouldn't have. I'm flattered, but it's the least I can do with writers for whom I enjoy reading. Anyway...

The action is certainly quite well-developed so far. There are a few spelling errors and usage errors spattered here and there, but they do not detract from the overall quality of the work. I cannot comment on how you have done Mary's personality, since I do not know that, but from the looks of things, it seems to be quite believable and nicely thought out.

Great job here. :D

Sorry for the double post and the longgggg absence of this fanfic but I had to edit the first chapter and correct all my grammar mistakes and stuff. So I'm editing the first post. >.< Mew.
