i didn't want to put (death note anime) cuz it's just a screenshot taken from FULLMETAL PANIC : THE SECOND RAID that displays the charecters from death note:
1.the one riding the bicycle is apparently L
2.and that girl (who seems kinda peeking) is AMANE MISA
3.and the one wearing the white shirt looks like YAGAMI RAITO and the one next to him is his father .... I think

but i think the same studio will make the anime and I'm starting to get excited ^_^

I don't recognize any of those people, though. What is Death Note?

Death Note is a manga where a boy named Light finds a Death Note dropped by a Shinigami (a Grim Reaper ripoff) and finds it can really kill people. Ryuk, the Shinigami tells him how to use the Death Note. Light then uses it to purge the world of all the people who (in his eyes) are unworthy to reside on the Earth. Ironic he causes death, and his name is "light", huh? Laughing

I think that was just a random cameo.

From what I've heard, we can't expect a Death Note anime at the present time and if we were to (just at the present time, it'd probably be possible later), it'd be an OAV.

It's anime that goes directly to video instead of being shown on TV, and is generally only 1 to 13 episodes. (Usually 3 to 6 episodes from what I've seen)

Damn, when I read the title I thought there had been some announcement or something that hinted it. Ah well, I download to much already as it is.

But until that was pointed out, I didn't even notice it in that episode.

That... is creepy. o_O

Though I wouldn't expect them to make a Death Note anime anytime soon... due to the story's nature, it really wouldn't work until the manga was either over or nearing its end.
