While at work, someone tried to trade in old Nintendo and Sega stuff. I mannaged to weasel myself into trading my hard-earned cashed for the box of goodies. Besides tons of bad sega sports games, a Sega system, an SP charger, Goldeneye 64, some Nintendo games(including 3 Mario and KIRBY), there was the gem...
A top-loading Nintendo, complete with original controller.
I cleaned the baby up, plugged it in, and voila! It works like a charm.
Now, I still have my old NES system from when I was born hooked up in my living room, and my question to everyone is this: Should I keep it, or convert it into a fancy pencil box? It hasn't been working well the last few years, but I have so many memories, I'm not very sure what to do with the old fella.
Also, if anyone else has the toploading NES, what all is different about it, besides the fact it WORKS? I mean, if I found Famicom games, could I play them or something? I really don't know, and I figured someone here could shed some light on it for me. _________________
