I figured since it has been a while since the old figure thread was updated (not to mention I couldn't find it), and it had over 20 pages, it was time to start a new one.
Anyway, has anyone found any of the new Virus Buster figures (ShadeMan, BurnerMan, FreezeMan, and the styles) yet? I'm wondering if they truly exist or will be in the shadows like the ACMM vs ShadowMan two pack.
Also, since Axess is now over, and Stream is sure to follow, who do you want them to make for the Stream series? I hope for FlashMan, PlantMan, TomahawkMan, and Colonel.

If they make any Cross Fusion figures, I dearly pray for CF Roll. Forte Cross Rockman from the movie wouldn't be too bad either. :)
The new Mattel line is coming out in 2006.

I hope they bring out BN 5 Souls despite their absense in the anime.
But I have seen Freezeman and Shademan at my Target. I also saw Aqua, Number, and Thiunder soul there as well. |

Recently K-Mart had newly stocked some of the last assortment Double Soul figures (minus Wood Soul. Of course.), and while it doesn't necessarily mean much, being K-Mart and all, it may be a decent sign for other tail end 2005 product to appear. For all probably five of you that still have K-Marts... :eyes:
I'm all for a CrossFusion Roll, but I seriously question how likely since it'd have to be an entirely new sculpt, and a girl sculpt at that. And Mattel just hates girl figures. in their boys lines, of course.  Assuming Super Navi Taskforce CF Ranger figures, I'd expect to not see figures for MagnetMan, NeedleMan, KnightMan, Meddy and Roll. I sure hope to be wrong, though. I'd bet new style CrossFusion MegaMan and ProtoMan are a sure thing, though.  |

Well when I went to big lots yesterday, I found this:
I know its not figures, but its Megaman, Its the NT Warrior Battle Net Game, I picked it up for my collection. Im not opening it, & it only cost me 5 bucks! It also comes with a "Geddon 1" Battle Chip, so im going to go back & buy a second one that I can open LOL

Yeah, but Roll Soul is male =P Doing a CF Roll figure would involve actually sculpting out a female body.
Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing a Tomahawkman figure released in the future (or CF Tomahawk for that matter, though I'm still a fan of only Netto and Enzan being the only ones to CF). And I know if I see an R-Blues V2 figure, I'm snatching that up *snickers* (I never was a fan of R-Rock's second version ^^; )

| yea im still having trouble locating the CF Protoman figure, Ive found moost of the sould, but the only cf protoman is in a pack that has cf megaman & the giant cf megaman, & i dont want the other 2, I have cf megaman, & the big one idk if i want it |

You guys know about how some people rip the chips out of the booster packs and the giant figures? Well today I found something else... Someone had opened up one of the packages to the PETs and snatched the chips out of it, but not the PET itself.
we know how they are sealed, HTF did they get that open?
Also I found about 8 CF Protoman figures there too... of course I'm not allowed to buy any because of the X-mas season.

yea but since there was 3 seasons on megaman nt warrior y didn't they make roll? i mean they made roll soul but not roll. wat up with that?

Well, not necessarily a specifically female body so much as one that could probably pass for male except for the "hair" and skirt... -_-;
Plus, Roll Soul could be and of course was sold as a MegaMan with extra bits, and doing a pink-armored version of the headline character is certainly different from doing just a pink figure. Despite this, Roll Soul seemed pretty much to be short packed, since I never saw one myself - the one I got came from Baltimore - and of the people I asked that actually had one, the majority got it the same way I did. Almost none of my sampling ever saw one in a store.
There's also the matter of girl characters typically being poor sellers in boy's lines, at least in North America. Maybe that's why for the first four or five years, the male and female Power Rangers shared body sculpts. It's also why in the failed He-Man revival, Teela and especially Evil-Lyn were hideously shorted to something like one in every dozen of their respective case assortments. Granted, I bet that number would be better if eight out of the ten figures per assortment weren't a Skeletor or He-Man variant, but that's not the discussion at hand.
Anyway, I figure since we never got a normal Roll in the North American line, a CrossFused version doesn't stand an especially good chance. T_T >_<

I've seen that here once. In that case it looked like someone used a pocket knife to slice just far enough to be able to work the chips out. Mind, this was after I found a half-destroyed empty package hanging on the peg. Which stayed there for about three weeks. :eyes: |

I've seen all of one in a store-- a Toys R Us to be exact --and I snatched it up as soon as I did. Aside from that, yeah the Roll Soul figure has gotta be one of the rarer ones I've seen, and similar to you practically everyone I've talked to who owns one didn't get it in the stores. (I've also found Searchman to be pretty rare, but I think that's an area-related thing, as it seems to be abundant in some places, nonexistant in others)

That and similar happens a lot around here. I remember someone ripped open a Heat Guts package, and it remained hanging at the back of the rack for a good two months or so. And there always seems to be a chip booster pack or some other figure's package ripped open, and they stick around for the longest times ^^;

I have yet to buy WindSoul, and I have never seen WoodSoul. While I have all of the other souls, I want the navis most of all though. Not including the Souls, the only MegaMan's and ProtoMan's I have are the first released ones since they are all I need. The only time I'll buy another ProtoMan is if they release a Dark ProtoMan. Same goes for MegaMan. I just don't understand why we can't get more Navis though.
Other than MM, PM, and Bass, we have:
MagnetMan (which surprised me since I didn't expect them to pick him first)
GutsMan
FireMan
SearchMan
WindMan
BurnerMan (we hope)
FreezeMan (hopefully)
ShadeMan (another hope)
There are so many others out there though that should have been done. Aside from PlantMan, FlashMan, TomahawkMan, and Colonel, I want:
Duo
PharaohMan
ElecMan
StarMan
Aqua 3 Pack (BubbleMan, AquaMan, IceMan)

| they will make the CF characters with the alteration of yurikos boobs being purple/blue or wutever color her CF is most of the time LOL if they want to make more money, they will make the female ones soon, I think they are waiting for stream to start to release female ones |

I said if they did make a Cross Fusion "Spike" Man figure, I'd repaint the chest and maybe make it bigger and sharper.
I highly doubt they'd make female figures. In general female figures for "boy" oriented shows are very rare. Dark Magician Girl has an action figure, but it is very short-packed and rare.
Yeah I find it lame they hesitated on make releasing a Roll figure or the Roll booster packs...
My guess for wave IV was: Laser Man and Blues DS.... They might make it since they plan to release a figure of Freeze Man...
I hope they are planning to make new NT Warrior toys soon because all of the stores I go to has the stuff on clearance. |
