*edit* Okay I'm going to have to be more constructive than "foam". Basically I am excited because I just saw the brand-freakin' new Final Fantasy 4 boxart done by Yoshitaka Amano for the game which will be released in a month. I've played the game before, recently even, but seeing this and the screenshots (available on IGN for those who are interested!) is really getting me in the mood to give it another runthrough. As though I didn't watch someone do it two days ago. But anyway.

The custom FF4 GBA Micro cover is awesome....and the new menu screen font is fugleh in my opinion but the mug shots are quite nice...and...NEW TOWNS AND FREAKIN' HUGE DUNGEONS...

and...after 4's been out for a couple of months...they're releasing 5 and 6, the latter of which is my very favorite game (other than Chrono Trigger of course). THERE ARE NO WORDS FOR MY HAPPINESS.

OMG *drool* its my favorite Final Fantasy on GBA Woot..... and I agree the font in this version is awsome. man this is going to cool... Now I have to get this for christmas...

Nintendo Power has a small article on FF 4. Some points from it:

-The difficulty level is the harder version (the one called hardtype I believe)

- scenes and dialog that debuted in the FF Chronicles version

- monster encyclopedia (like the one in FF Dawn of Souls)

- music player (every RPG should have this)

- training area

- 50-floor bonus dungeon

I'm preordering this. I found the original to be tough a later areas, so I know I'm going enjoy this one.

I'm going to preorder FF5 when I can too since it's my favourite, but I'll probably pass on FF6. I always lose all interest about half way through.

i wish they would add Chrono Trigger to the list. i know it's been remade already, but FF 4, 5, and 6 have, too. heck, it could have ended up like FF 1&2, with better graphics. that would be sweet.

Allow me to join in the foaming!!!

I'm glad they're doing the remakes of up to 6, because it means I'll have legal copies of all the games (I already had the FF6 one for PSone though). Plus the little extras are nice, and the 16 bit upgraded graphics are way nice.

I suppose I'll try to get FF4, for the right price. My brother also told me you can switch party members, like have Cid or Yang by the end, and the actual quest is longer.

sorry about the other post.. yea i got ff4 today at walmart.. for some reason i feel.. itz easier to lvl up ..after 3 hrs of playin i got to lvl 30 =)
