Anyone is free to correct and add. I admit that I am not capable of fully understanding the episode and may have missed a few key details.

The first 5 minutes is a recap of last week's episode, so I copied-pasted that segment from my previous summary.

Netto checks the submarine stats again, and Meiru and Yuuichirou are plunging deeper and deeper in the ocean. In the submarine, the submarine is starting to fall apart as the pressure is too much for it to handle. Water leaks in and lights break.

As the purple hand squeezes Rockman, Z. Gateman says that in order to save everyone, Trill will have to go with him. Netto tells Trill not to obey the zoanaroid, but Trill is hesitant. Z. Gateman responds by making the machine explode in front of Netto. Netto's PET falls on the ground with Trill tumbling after it, and then he tries to jump in to save Rockman. Iris quickly picks the PET up and tells Trill not to, but he does anyway.

Rockman tells Trill to leave but Trill gets picked up by Z. Gateman, who asks him why he's here. Trill wants to save everyone, and he came just so Z. Gateman could let everyone go. Z. Gateman breaks his deal by drawing out his cannon and rabid-firing the ship control system, making explosions go off everywhere on the ship.

The ship control loses contact with the submarine. Netto stares hopelessly at the screen as it can no longer tell him how far his father and Meiru are.

Rockman frees himself from the violet hand's grasp with a charge shot. He falls in front of Trill and Z. Gateman, reaching his hand out towards Trill. Trill yells Rockman's name and does the same, but Z. Gateman starts kicking and stepping on Rockman's head. Rockman pleads Trill...

"ROCKMAN!" screams Trill.

Trill emits a blue light and flies out of a surprised Z. Gateman's hand before approaching Rockman's outstretched hand....

Rockman morphs and goes Greiga. G. Rockman dashes towards him and leaps for an attack and slashes Z. Gateman. Z. Gateman tumbles onto the ground, grumbling,"What is this power?"

G. Rockman mades a mad dash, but Z. Gateman notices and creates a gate for himself, barely escaping G. Rockman's attack. He appears a few yards away from G. Rockman, but the blue Navi makes his way towards him again. Surprised, Z. Gateman vanishes into a gate again. He reappears again, and when G. Rock starts sprinting his direction again, Z. Gate summons a purple hand from the gate on his chest. It manages to constrain G. Rock for a few seconds, but he wrenches himself free.

"No way,"gasps Z. Gateman. He calls upon his gate again as G. Rock nears....

Episode 12: Ocean Bottom SOS

On land, Enzan hurries to a helicopter on top of a building, and Blues explains what he knows from why they were called away. Enzan starts on the helicopter and prepares a dimensional area in case they have to fight a Zoanaroid.

Meanwhile, Netto stares pallidly at his PET and enters the crane countrol room. He asks Meijin about how Yuuichirou and Meiru were doing, but Meijin just says that he's worried about the cable. He's trying to find them and succeeds, managing to pinpoint the location of the sub on his radar.

With the submarine, it has landed on a crevice of the underwater cliff, but it is at risk of falling again. Meiru is still biting back screams and Yuuchirou is busy turning the wheel on the inside of the submarine. He sits back on his seat, saying that they were in for trouble. When Meiru asks why he said that, Yuuichirou tells her his reasons, with every one of his deductions having Meiru screaming,"NO WAY!" He includes that they're lost at the bottom of the sea and it'd probably take a long time before Meijin and Netto could get a hold of them.

"NO WAY!" goes Meiru a la drama queen. Roll tells her to calm down. Yuuichirou turns around and offers Meiru a stick of gum, which she shakingly accepts.

On the ship, Meijin extends the cable on the crane over to the sea to attempt to get Meiru and Yuuichirou out of danger, but the ship suddenly shakes, as something's wrong with the propelling system. The crew members operating the boat can't stop it...

In the ship control, G. Rock leaps towards Z. Gateman again, who disappears behind one of his portals again. He appears in front of one of the main protocols used to control the ship. G. Rock sends fire towards him, but he dodges and G. Rock ends up igniting the board instead. Back in the Real World, the machines start spewing electric bolts, forcing the crew members away.

Netto pleads Rockman to stop attacking the system, but he doesn't listen. The boat rocks and spins in a loopy oval. Meijin says that hecan't save Meiru and Yuuichirou if the Zoanaroid stays there.

Iris peeks out of a window for a moment and then turns her attention towards someplace else. She whispers,"It's going to be all right... Trill." She holds out her PET and plugs in.

In the Cyber World, G. Rock is chasing Z. Gateman. Mysterious Navi Girl (Iris' Navi, or maybe even Iris herself) observes the fight from afar. Z. Gate bounces off of a system board and G. Rockman crashes into it. Netto curses at how Z. Gateman is usingG. Rockman to destroy the ship command system. But that isn't the worst thing that could happen...

One of the crew members reports that something gaining speed is heading their direction... maybe it's a missile? "What's heading here?" wonders Netto. "Is that a... Zonanaroid?!"

Zonanaroid Swallowman, to be specific. He crashes into the side of the ship and plugs himself into the ship control. In the computer system, G. Rock and Z. Gate are still at it. Z. Gateman shoots with a Gate Cannon, but those attacks are nothing compared to the power of Greiga. G. Rock rams into him sending the Zonanaroid sprawling.

Navi Lady claps her hands together and starts forming a rainbow aura. As G. Rockman advances on Z. Gateman, he is attacked by a Swallow Cutter. Z. Gateman is surprised to see Z. Swallowman here, but instead of aiding Z. Gateman, Z. Swallowman immediately heads over to the Navi Lady. She cancels whatever she was doing as Z. Swallow questions her. She slowly backs away, and Z. Swallowman stretches out an arm for her, but he is blocked by a forcefield she set up for herself. As both struggle over the forcefield, the girl Navi takes this chance to log out.

The forcefield disappears, and Z. Swallowman mutters to himself,"That Navi... I must see what her secret is."

G. Rockman lets out a roar. Z. Swallowman tells Z. Gateman that he's leaving and plugs out. Z. Gateman tries to protest, but Z. Swallow is long gone. As G. Rockman charges towards Z. Gateman, he plays his hide-and-seek portal game again.

Outside, Iris finishes plugging out, relieved, but she hears glass breaking. Z. Swallowman has broken one of the windows in the room she is in, and notices that she is carrying a PET. "Is that your Navi?" he asks. Iris runs out of the room, but Z. Swallowman appears in front of her, demanding her to hand over her Navi. A splash of water interrupts him. There stands Netto, holding an emergency fire hose and spraying Z. Swallow. He urges Iris to go over to him and she does. Netto runs away with her and presses a button, letting an airtight wall fall between them and Z. Swallowman.

Z. Swallow, desparate for Iris' Navi, pounds on the door, but Netto orders Iris to follow him. He grabs her hand and drags her into the storage room. He proceeds to ask her about Trill, but Z. Swallowman has already broken through the door and starts going after them.

Meijin is still busy on the crane and yet again is thrown off balance by G. Rockman, who ignites another system control board.

Eyecatch. Rockman and Netto, Blues and Enzan.

The submarine is edging towards the bottom of the ocean. Inside, Meiru whimpers. Yuuichirou tells her that Meijin and Netto can't come because the Zonanaroid's in their way, to which Meiru replies with,"NO WAY!" again. As Yuuichirou continues pondering out loud about their situation, Meiru keeps being her drama queen self, going,"NO WAY!"

Roll asks her to calm down again. Yuuichirou offers Meiru a bar of chocolate, which she accepts.

In their hideout spot, Netto asks Iris why Z. Swallowman was after her. She apologizes and says that she doesn't know, but Netto continues asking her about what she knows about Trill. Iris looks startled, but Netto asks her if what Yuuichirou said about Trill being from Beyondard true. Iris looks away, but a crash makes Netto fall over Iris.

Netto looks at his PET, but Iris says that it's all right. Netto gives in but also tells her that he can't save Yuuichirou and Meiru. Another crash exposes Z. Swallowman into the storage room, angrily demanding where Netto and Iris are. The two sneak their way out of the room and start running onto the dock from the garage.

Z. Swallowman lands in front of them and steps towards them ordering Iris to give him her PET. Netto tells Iris to leave everything to him, and he snatches her PET away, taunting Z. Swallowman to make a scene. (He didn't slap his butt though, like the other times.) Z. Swallowman flies after him, but Netto enters the inside of the ship.

Netto dashes along the halls, but an explosion appears in front of him. "I found you,"says Z. Swallowman as he enters, but in the Cyber World, G. Rock sets another computer protocol ablaze when Z. Gateman hides in another gate, making a pipe spew water at Z. Swallowman. Netto runs away, telling Rockman that he saved him.

Netto leaves the room and goes outside to the front of the ship. "I found you,"repeats Z. Swallowman, who is flying above the ship. He closes in for an Air Dive. Netto leaps out of the way as Z. Swallowman implodes into the ground. He flies out and finally corners Netto, who has no other place to run. Iris climbs up behind the Zonanaroid and stares helplessly at Netto, whispering,"Hikari-kun..."

Enzan's helicopter finally reaches the ship, and he stares in surprise at Iris. He immediately recognizes her as that girl he encountered at Ameroupe back in episode 6. Z. Swallowman notices the helicopter and goes Faltzer, leaping in for the kill.

Enzan calls for a dimensional area and leaps out of his helicopter headfirst, cross fusing on his way down. He sets his jet-powered shoes into action and brings out a sword, frying to slice F. Swallowman but ends up missing.

Netto is relieved that Enzan's finally here, and Iris approaches him. He hands her back her PET and says that Enzan will fight F. Swallowman. She thanks him, and Netto starts asking her why F. Swallowman was after her PET, but the ship rocks and he flips over. As he gets up, Netto notices that Iris is gone.

Iris is back in the room where she previously was before she was attacked. She plugs in her Navi.

With Enzan, R. Blues brings out a Vulcan, but F. Swallowman flies out of his firing range. He dives into R. Blues with a Swallow Dive, who falls back, but is saved by his jet-powered boots. F. Swallowman sends with some Swallow Cutters and R. Blues expertly dodges all of them, only to be knocked down again by an Air Dive. R. Blues nearly hits the ocean, but flies back up again.

Netto heads over to Meijin's again and asks about how he's doing. Meijin says that he can reach the submarine, but the ship lurches again. In the Cyber World, Z. Gateman eludes G. Rockman again. G. Rockman, irritated, starts roaring, and Iris' Navi logs in, begging Trill to hurry up. Netto begs Rockman of the same thing.

Z. Gateman pops back out and G. Rockman lunges after him, but once again the Zonanaroid has escaped his reach. Growling, G. Rockman lets out a cry as a tornado suddenly engulfs him.

In the battle above the ship, R. Blues is hurled towards the dock by F. Swallowman's Air Dive. R. Blues sets up a Muugen Vulcan and fires. As F. Swallowman flies towards him, he gets hit. R. Blues slots in a Sword and finishes off F. Swallowman, who explodes.

In the ship computer, the tornado disappears, leaving... Faltzer Rockman! Z. Gateman's takenaback, and F. Rockman charges himself with a strange flame around him. He zips over to Z. Gateman, but Z. Gateman dives into his gate. F. Rockman circles around and Z. Gateman comes out of his gate, only to be struck by F. Rockman. The Zoanaroid spins, and then explodes.

F. Rockman flies into a golden orb that appeared out of nowhere. He changes back into Rockman and Trill.

Now that Meijin has control over the crane again, he can save Meiru and Yuuichirou. He sends the cable down towards them...

In the submarine, Meiru nervously asks Yuuichirou,"Sir, are they really coming to save us?" When Yuuichirou replies with an answer that isn't what she had hoped for, she flails, screeching,"NO WAY!" again.

Roll asks Meiru to callm down for the third time in this episode, and she looks much more annoyed than she had been the previous times. Yuuichirou offers Meiru a scone, but this time Meiru refuses the food, screaming that it was useless. A hookline appears at their window, its attached light turning on to show its presence.

"That's...?" cries Meiru.

"We're saved!" exclaims Yuuichirou, realizing that the hook was sent by Meijin. He uses the submarine's robotic claws to clamp onto it.

As the crane reels thesubmarine in, Enzan walks over to Netto. "Netto, that girl..." he starts. ".. the one with you..." Netto confesses that he knows nothing about Iris' presence. The submarine emerges from the water and Netto waves calling for Meiru and his father. Enzan smiles and backs away.

Meiru climbs out of the submarine, exhausted. Roll is by her side, happily saying,"I'm glad, Meiru-chan!"

Enzan and Blues enter the room where Iris previously was and finds nothing. He and Blues leave via the helicopter they took to get onto the ship.

On the dock, Roll asks Netto where Rockman is, and according to Netto, he is in his PET sleeping. He grants her permission to enter, and she comes upon a sleeping Rockman, with Trill watching over him.

Netto tells Meiru that he saw Iris here. When Meiru asks him where Iris went, Netto says that she disappeared after Enzan arrived... but it turns out that Iris is hiding inside the submarine, addressing Trill that he will go back to where he belongs....

According to what I've seen, I think that Iris' Navi has the ability to disperse Rockman's Beast forms, since it sounded like her voice when he was trapped in that golden light back in episode 7. This is probably one of her many secret abilities that Z. Swallowman was striving so hard to discover.

As for the next episode preview, there's Gutsman VS Z. Gutsman, Trill having a toy block castle, and some Roll VS Iris' Navi action. Fun!

Also, there is Darkman there too in Ep 12!!! ( I KNEW GUTS WOULD BE GREIGA)

Great episode summary Ming Yi. Episode 11 is a great episode, and this whole scenario had 3 zoans!!!!! Gate, Swallow, and Quick, but still, I wish there'd be less 1 ep wonders. The only 3 zoans that have lasted more than 1 ep are Sparky, Pharoah, and Gate. But still, only Pharoah is alive. The rest died in the second episode they were in. Sucks to be a zoan.

Who agrees Gate should have gone into Beast Out during this ep?

And let's not forget Darkman and Z. Gutsman's army of DreamViruses. Plus Searchman. I hope that Z. Gutsman and his army survive...

I'm SO HAPPY with the art direction of this episode. Iris' navi looked REALLY ugly the episode she came out, she looks so much better now. Facial expressions were clean, lining was well done and there was some good action. Sure, repeating of Gateman disappearing in that portal (that clip was repeated like, what, 6 times?) DID tick me off a bit, but overall, the episode turned out pretty good.

Gateman: run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm Zoano Gateman! XD

I liked this episode. The entirety of the Falzer Rock sequence was beautifully done.

Oh, and Z. Darkman!

I loved this episode! And it turns out that Z-Swallowman is another 1 episode navi. Iris is really turning out to be cool, and her navi - it has more clues that she is Palette.EXE with all those rainbow colors.

I'm looking forward to next episode! Gutsman vs Z-Gutsman, Roll vs Iris-navi girl. (I wonder why Roll is attacking her?). And some new Zoanoroid navi that people are saying is Darkman.

Because it IS Darkman. .-.

This entire episode reminded me of the Dark Blues hunt. You know, when he was chasing Anetta.

Swallowman's Beast Form was great~ like some kind of deadly butterfly. \o\

Really a great episode, the fight scenes were pretty good too, though I was hoping Gateman would Beast Out before being deleted but oh well. The next episode looks good with G Gutsman and Darkman, shouldn't be to long till we see more of Rockman's friends as Zoanaroids (Really hoping for Z Blues).

And Z-Roll, Z-AquaMan, Z-Glide, etc. etc. I'm guessing that Z-GateMan and Z-SwallowMan looked awesome, eh? Smile

Poor Meiru, reduced to panicing comic relief this episode.

Also I noticed that they're still playing things close to their chest on whether or not Iris and her Navi are seperate beings. We haven't seen the Navi actually in the PET, and we haven't seen Iris while the Navi's active. Hopefully next episode will answer the question.

And speaking of the next episode, looks like we get yet another Navi that's been negelcted by the anime until recently. So other than Serenade who I doubt we'll see in the anime, what other navis have yet to make an anime appearence.

I personally think he looks more a cross between Angemon and a Transformer. Oh wait, he IS a transformer.

Gateman being deleted by THAT explosion? We see Navis get caught in those kind of explosions all the time. Asteroid Napalmman caught caught in an explosion like that when Rock swatted back his bomb in Stream 19 and he didn't die. I think Gateman's is too much of a beloved character to get a one hit kill like that. I'll wait until we go another 10 episodes without seeing him again. Same goes for Punk, Quickman, and Swallowman. They were Copyroids, right? It's quite possible they escaped.

Zoan Gutsman looks like he's Gutsman DS by the color scheme. And I always pictured Darkman being done in CGi too.

I assume you are talking about navis from the games that aren't in the anime yet. These are the only navis that I can think of:

Copyman
Turboman
Ring
Kendoman

Many of the new EXE6 navis are in the Beast opening, so we know they'll be there eventually (I, for one, can't wait to hear ChargeMan's voice - [spoil:1ea71cc5bb]despite his appearance, I remember him being polite and formal in the game[/spoil:1ea71cc5bb]). There'll probably be some reason Netto and his family move to Saiba City, and now that the game is officially out, I'd expect it to happen soon

I doubt they'll move. There's more likely going to be an episode (or a chain of episodes) somewhere in Saiba City, but I doubt the anime will go in the same direction as the games.

Anyhow, Iris reminds me of the G-Man, from Half-Life. For those that never played HL, HL: Opposing Force, or HL2, the G-Man appears around areas that heavy battles took place in or are taking place in and suddenly disappears. (Link---->) This comic pokes fun at that. Just thought it was kinda funny, and I'm hoping the story directors can use Iris' hiding as a cheap humor device in some filler eventually.

Actually, that was Gateman himself exploding.

[spoil:f7c8bc8ccb]Well, in Stream epsiode 30, when Thirty was about to be crushed? Napalman was at risk of being deleted as the memory card holding him was about to be destroyed.[/spoil:f7c8bc8ccb] If the Copyroid circuitry gets totally obliterated, I doubt the Zoanoroid in it would survive without plugging out immediately before the damage is dealt. Granted, that doesn't preclude them escaping, but it severely decreases their changes.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Fossa Ambience vs. Roll fight.

The ep was very good, I especially liked F-Rock's time to shine.

Fossa Ambience is the Iris' navi's name? :/ What does that exactly stand for?
