Slight Forum problem?

Now, I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone, but for some odd reason posts from like Saturday and Friday have appeared on the forum. " What's the problem with that? Some topics don't get replies right away." is probably what you're thinking, right? This is different.

Why? Because I checked my thread for the fan fic I'm currently working on, and Chapters 12 and 13 ( Which I posted on Sunday and yesterday.) have somehow disappeared. I checked the rest of the forums, and some comment that were there on Sunday and yesterday aren't where they were as well, so I knew a mod/admin didn't delete my two chapters. ( Not that any of you would without stating why in my thread, right? :O ) I tried refreshing the page, but it didn't help. I also tried closing the window and go on again. Still didn't help.

I hope this isn't a major bug. Then again, everything could go back to normal by the time I finish writing this. Still, I hope this isn't anything major. -_-;

My hoster decided to misinterpret a billing question I asked, and thought I had asked for kishuku.com to be deleted instead. So they did. I don't know HOW they got that idea, but it's too late to change now.

So, it's most likely they had to install a backup of my files. Which may mean some missing recent data.

Somehow, I had a feeling that is was something like that. -_-; At least I have Chapter 12 and 13 of my fic on my computer. I hope nobody lost any important posts due to this...

We always advise never relying on the forum to archive your fics. I'm glad to hear you saved you own copies.

Thanks for saying something, everyone. A concerned friend came to me and said my fic was gone, and I'm all like, "ONOEZ!!" So he checked later. I'm glad it was nothing not fixable.

Yeah, I got caught with my pants down and had to re-type chap 5 of my fanfic. I'm going to start typing these on my computer just in case this ever happens again.

The forum looks rather odd right now, especially with many of the broken links and stuff. I would have been really confused if I hadn't read this section first (which is odd since I almost never look at this section). Come to think of it, we may have some confusion for the next couple of days.

If the 'broken links' you're referring to are the URLs to images, try hitting Ctrl+F5. (You can do it anyway, it doesn't hurt)

On some of the pages, there are links to topics that no longer exist since they were started after the 19th of January. As well, I often have to refresh to bring up new posts and topics every time I come onto the site. Example: Izumi was the last person to post in this topic before I came on last night. I posted after her and my post was excepted. I browse around the rest of the forum for a bit, then notice that it says that Izumi was still the last person to post in Bugs and Problems. So I go back in this topic and my post isn't there. It is not until I actually click refresh on this page that my post appears in this topic again. I also have to click on refresh in the main forum index it to show that I was the last one to post in bugs and problems. It wasn't quite as bad when I can in this morning. The topic for Bugs and Problems showed that RikkusRukkus was the last to post. When I go into Bugs and Problems, it shows that I was the last to post in this topic. Once I click on refresh, it shows that RikkusRukkus was the last to post. Same problem occures when I go into the topic itself as well as when I am even replying to the topic itself.

Edit: The broken links problem has remedied itself. Possible because of the whole "refresh" thing.
