Hey, this is a thread of um... the Resident Evil series by Capcom.
Here, lets start this conversation,
In Resident Evil 4, who do you think was the hardest boss?
What was your favorite "A" prompt. For ex. Leon's Kick, [spoil:25b41c270a]Krauser's Double Kick, Wesker's Thrust Punch.[/spoil:25b41c270a] etc.
Mine would habe to be [spoil:25b41c270a]HUNK's neckbreaker[/spoil:25b41c270a] since it's an instant kill. |

Hardest boss is difficult to say. The big ones are slow enough that you can run around them typically. So I'd have to say that Right Hand and Krauser were the most difficult. Right Hand is fast and can take massive amounts of damage before it gives up. Krauser's got that shield and does some massive damage. I haven't beaten Krauser yet. Oh, and I shouldn't forget "Human" Sadler in Seperate Ways. He might have been easier if I'd had the crossbow. Hmm, I guess it's Krauser though. Oh, and I mean on Professional, not Normal. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Yeah, I'd have to say Krauser as well. I have the GC version, and when I fight him, I fight him with knives only. Since it does triple the damage. I'm currently looking for Resident Evil 2 for the GameCube. Resident Evil 4 made me a Resident Evil fan! I'm trying to beat Resident Evil 0 at the moment... Geez, it's so hard... Limited inventory space... Very low ammo. Man. |

"It" was ridiculously easy for me. The hardest in my opinion was Verdugo...mainly because I gave up on killing him and simply escaped from the elevator. Of course, I could have just used a Rocket Launcher if I really wanted....
Biohazard 0 is actually pretty easy despite the inventory handicaps. Love your Custom Handgun once you get it. It will do you well. Also, leave Rebecca behind whenever you can...she'll only get in your way. :D _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I only played into a bit of the first part of Resident Evil 4. I'm not really one for scary games, so it was amazing that I tried it in the first place.
Somehow, I ended up laughing a lot. Especially when I died. XD _________________ deviantART / Live Journal / Yaoi Gallery |

Resident Evil 4 was my first Resident Evil that I played through and beat, by myself. I don't recommend playing this game first because when I played Resident Evil 0, I was like "What the heck... this is so hard to control" because of the camera angle and stuff. |

I really enjoyed using Wesker's thrust punch the most. I was thinking of getting the Hand Cannon, but then I figured out that I have to 5-Star waterworld with Leon. That's never going to happen for me. His weapons are just too weak for Salvador. I got decapitated a lot.
The toughest boss I fought was U3. He killed me a lot of times in the cage and during the real battle. I found bosses like Verdugo and Salazar very very easy. Rocket Launcher
Anyway I'm on my third playthrough on normal. I have the Chicago Typewriter, Infinite Rocket Launcher, Broken Butterfly, Blacktail, and Semi-Auto in my attache case. I miss playing through the village. It was my favorite location.
RE4 wasn't as scary as the others IMO. Until you reach the Regenerators, then you'll probably be scared. Their breathing is very creepy. Iron Maidens are worse. This game just makes you tense. There are some enemies who can kill you instantly, and that's when you get tense. Expect a lot of enemies capable of decapitating you.
Out of all the places that scared me, it would be the remote island. After you take down the first Regenerator, the hall is infested with them. Plus, I destroyed their legs and they jumped on me. _________________

Oooh yeah! I thought I killed that Regenerator 'cause all it did was lay there... Then when I was about to proceed it just jumped on me, biting my neck and I just freaked out! Haha. I hate those Los Plagas'd Ganados, especially the one that could bite your head off.
And when you play Mercenaries(sp?) and go to the Waterworld with the double saw'd Saw guy I got scared as anything! Since I kept shooting it with my Shotty and it didn't flinch. Then I finally got my balls put together and faced it, face to face, and just used my shotty at his face, somehow.. he died, before he cut my head off. |

See, if you hadn't used the Rocket Launcher, you would have found Verdugo to be ridiculously hard because of the high amount of Magnum bullets he can take.
As for Salazar, he's a joke for someone so high up. Two shotgun shots to his left hand's head to open up, and then six head shots with a lvl3 firepower Broken Butterly will finish Salazar. Since you can probably get 3 shots into Salazar per round, you will only need to to attack his left hand man twice. Also Salazar has simply three attacks: The tentacles, which can be dodged with prompts, the head assault, which can be dodged by moving to the side, and his left hand's head eating you, which is a one hit kill but you know when it's coming because you'll see the mouth open.
U3...save your bullets in the dangling battle and only use the Striker to make him retreat. And keep your fingers on AB or LR to dodge his other attacks. The dangling part is really easy, the only way to die is if you don't make it to the doors. For the actual battle, just open both gates and lead him through, using the gas barrels to damage him. Then close the gate after going a full circle and reload while he takes his time to break down the gate. As soon as he does so, lay on eight Broken Butterly shots and he's finished. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

Well, some bosses become much, much tougher in Professional mode. I tried using the shotgun to get U3 to retreat in the cage, but that just wouldn't cut it. It wouldn't back off, then it wrapped its tetacle arm around my head and almost killed me even with struggling. It does crazy amounts of damage. I had to use the Magnum just to make him go away. But that's Professional.
Broken Goggles, why do you have so many weapons in your case? The Chicago Typewriter makes almost everything a joke, including Right Hand. The Magnum and the Handgun become entirely pointless, and even the Rifle isn't necessary. But one can't deny that sniping is very, very fun, so the Rifle remains. Even the Handcannon is superfluous with the Typewriter. But then, I haven't progressed well at mercenaries. So... very... difficult. Maybe I'll be ready for it once I've finished Professional. Thank goodness you can play through it with special costumes. Ashley would be so dead without that armor. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

True. One could play the entire game on CT and/or IRL alone. I like to use my other weapons cause using 1 weapon would be dull for me. I mainly use my Blacktail on villagers and BB on some bosses. I only use the rifle on certain occasions. I also wanted to keep my Striker but I threw it away to make more room for flash bangs and incendiaries.
Just curious, but did anyone use the knife a lot? I only found it useful when it comes to breaking glass/boxes and the Krauser battle. _________________

....errr, you're supposed to use the knife to break boxes and such as well as against Krauser. It's a waste to use bullets in those cases....especially when the knife kills Krauser in very few hits. _________________ ~DrkX (Resident over-sexed camera-whore & Facebook zombie.)

I used the knife whenever it was feasable, especially on Professional to save bullets. That is, if my taget is on the ground and I'm not being swarmed. It's just a problem when the Plagas start to spawn. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

I used the knife to open boxes and stuff and snakes.
Has anyone bought the infinite rocket launcher? I'd rather have the CT then that. |

Yeah, I got the Inf Launcher. It's fun to blow stuff up and killing things like El Gigante in one shot is awsome, but for general purposes, the CT is better. Oh, and how crazy is this? J.J. (the guy with the minigun) took TWO rockets to kill. How unfair is that? I have yet to use it on the chainsaw users. Should be fun when I do. Still looking forward to checking out the, uh, plasma shooting thing, whatever it's called. Should be unlocked after Professional is finished. _________________ Church: Are you following any of this?

Um, PS2 also has Separate Ways + new cutscenes and movie browser. Sure, the PS2 version does have more stuff but the GC version has the better graphics and sounds(?). _________________
