ok some how i got all this dust/dirt under my ds screen i have no clue how eiher, it there a way to get rid of this or am i screwed?

You can remove the plastic cover with a replacement kit and try to shake it out. Nintendo's customer service also really nice about stuff like this and would probably help you.
