**Sprite Resource Thread**
This thread is pretty much a reworking of a thread the was in its place, called the "Sprite How To", its goal is to give you resources and tips on how to create your own sprites from either modifying existing sprites or creating one completely from scratch. It will also give you some tips into making your own sprite comics if that is what you would like to do, but remember that R.E.O. can no longer host comics on the forum, so this means that you can't continously post your sprite comics in a thread that you make. You can however create a thread showing the first comic, and then a link to the site that you have hosting it, but remember to use the thread for other things as well, such as showing your sprite work for critques. This is an open thread so all members are allowed to post in it with their own advice, tips, and post their own resources such as sprite sheets and sprite rips. But that being said there are some rules that you have to follow when doing so that I will now list.
1. The sprite rips have to be made by you and not someone else. This means that you have to actually have done the work to create the sprite sheet that the rips are on, and not have gotten it from someone else.
2. You can make requests to see if a certain sprite is available, but do not beg or pester others to rip the sprites for you. This is just rude, and can easily tick someone off. Sprite makers have lives, they don't just sit around making sprites all day and night.
3. When filling a request and the sprites that you have are not made by you, list in your post where you got them and how made the sprite rip if you can. In some cases you may need the permission of the person that made the sprite sheet, so please seek it before posting it. Also some sprites are for public use, and are often stated as such either on the sheet they are on or the site that they were originally posted on.
4. As always, be nice to each other and follow the general rules of the forum that you all read and stated that you understand when you joined.
To start this thread off, I would like to list sites that are good sources of resources for your sprite work. Some of them may not be working now due to their own issues.

I was waiting for them to announce officially a new website location before adding that in there. Thanks for the information, and I have updated the list accordingly. _________________

I've been there and they have very good sprites. :] |

Slimrider, you don't have to make a comment on that fact. This is a resources thread to help some find what they are looking for, or for others to put up a sheet for others to use if they are the creator of it and if they want others to use them. _________________

Sorry, but I don't have information of that type. Might be able to find it if you use a search engine online. _________________

Zafer, maybe you can be more clear with your posts and comments. This thread is for the posting of places where you can get resources that can help you in sprite making, not posting a sprite image of an avatar that you are using. You have already been given a warning about your posting activities. _________________
