Anyone else enjoy this game? The gameplay is a nice fallback to the old DOS based games I used to download from AOL back in the day... The wacky character designs are nice as well! And the on backstory interwined in several separate adventures is a sneaky sneaky way to get you attached to the characters!
I pretty much bought a DS just because this game came so highly recommended... and have found so far no game nearly as addictive as this one. Though it's been awhile since I've gotten it, it's still my favorite DS game.
Capcom is planning on releasing new cases via Verizon... Too bad I have Sprint, but there's always a chance they'll port the 4th game stateside (or one can hope for the dual language Japanese version.)

I'd easily call it 2005 game of the year. When info about the game was released I thought "Neat. A lawyer game. I'll buy it whenever I get around to it." but I never did until after I heard the game was discontinued and bought it ASAP. I was completely blown away and thought "WHY DIDN'T I BUY THIS EARLIER!?". To this day no other game has made me lose more sleep.

Yeah I thought that was the most awesome trailer ever until I saw the "trailers" (if they can even be called that) for Yogurting. Now I don't know what game has the most awesome trailers.

You're in luck, it's supposed to be re-released this month. It's available now on

Though I have yet to see it restocked in stores or any other online sites...

| PW:AA is one of those games you want to get back to as fast as possible because you want to know how it ends. I was amazed by the end of Case 4. |

Pros: Extremely good murder cases that have amazing presentation and execution. The cast is very fun as well and the localization is amazing along with the game's sense of humor.
Cons: After you beat it, there isn't a reason to play it again because it is very linear. That time you play though is a total blast except for maybe the first case but it is made to be a simple tutorial. |

If you want to get it when they rerelease it, preorder it from your online retailer of choice now or get to a game store that day. The last few times it got a rerelease, it sold out again in a few days.
Anyway, Phoenix Wright is one of, or perhaps is, my favorite game ever. Woo. Can't wait for the sequel, which supposedly comes out January 2007.
