Huge news concerning the EXE anime, it seems Beast will be officially ending its series run at the end of March. Beginning on April 8th, the series title will be changed to "Rockman.EXE Beast Plus", to initiate a new beginning. We also have the title for the first episode, which is "その名はゼロ" (The Name is Zero). Be aware that sources say this episode title is temporary, and may be subject to change.

The final episode of Rockman.exe Beast is titled "光を超えて" (Exceeding Light?), and it will air on April 1st, completing this series at Episode 25.

Huge thanks to one of our moderators Starman for the heads up!

Zero? As in Zero.EXE? I hope that's not the real title. I don't want a Zero.EXE. The idea is overused.

You do know a Zero.exe already exists, right? If you haven't played Network Transmission then you probably don't. XD

I wonder the sudden change. Maybe this a rip to include missing characters. I hope they place proto in there.

As Dragonman.exe has said, the final episode is airing on April Fool's. Hmmm. >_>; Oh well, I'm interested in what this new series offers to us all.

I highly doubt this is an April Fool's prank. Does Japan even celebrate April Fool's Day? Anyway, Heat Man informs me that Anime NewType writes "temporary" next to all of their titles.

Really? I only see the "temporary" notice at the end of Beast Plus' 1st episode title.

Hmm... oh well. Maybe I misinterpretted Heat. Maybe he meant it's really common, but not a perfectly consistent occurrence. Oh well... not a big deal anyway.

Besides, Zero doesn't mean Zero.EXE. It could be a human called Zero, a place called Zero or something completely different. Granted, Zero.EXE is more likely but still, with only an episode name to go on it could be almost anything.

Didn't think it would be ending this early.

There are a lot of anime's that end at 25 episodes, one that I can think of that isn't related to Rockman is HyperPolice. There are also series that have been made that go on for a set number of episodes before branching off into other ones. This is the case with the RoboTech series which is actually several series put together.

Now this is an interesting turn of events... Hopefully it'll be good.
I guess it'll be season 2 of Beast, only with a different name.

I'm somewhat surprised they're ending it early as compared to the previous series. And I'm kinda ticked there skipping the Cross Navi transformations (though it may show up in Beast Plus). Since they ended it halfway I'm guessing Beast Plus will just be another half, ending mostlikely at 25 or 26 episodes for it's own run. And if the first episode is accurate I'm really hoping Zero does show up for whatever reason, new strong good guy, badass badguy, misunderstood badass. Whatever approach they take I just hope they go ahead and do Zero V.S Blues and/or Zero V.S Forte.

Wow O___o;; that's fascinating @___@;; What I think will happen is that they'll end with a major cliffhanger in Rockman EXE Beast and that Beast Plus'll just have a new opening (or at least opening clip, maybe not the music) and that some new plot or character (probably/obviously Zero) will start something new. I wonder what'll happen to Falzar and Greiga tho...

Probably something rushed, weird, and confusing.

Interesting. I wonder if this is a response to the trouble they had with Stream. I don't know what the ratings for Stream were like, but even if they were good, they can't be happy with the quality of Stream as compared to Exe and Axess. It was far too slow paced with too much pure filler.

In a massive battle in the depths of Beyondard, Blues and Rockman magange to fell the mighty Falzer. Wily of course, was counting on this, and uses the scattered data to build Zero.exe, who finally encounters Greiga. After attempting to fuse with Greiga and gain his power, Zero.exe is seemingly destroyed as Greiga reasserts his power and reforms. Due to his contact with Falzer, Rockman enters a miracle style ch-- er, Super Beast Out, and beats Greiga down with little effort. Greiga attempts to devour and absorb Rockman, but Rockman will not have it and instead absorbs Griega, eyes glowing with an uncontrolled malice. Rockman does not stop there, and begins to corrupt, destroy, and absorb all of Beyondard. Netto makes a last ditch effort to bring Rockman out of this psychotic transformation by yelling "Rockman!" a whole lot. It works, Rockman releases the absorbed data, and all is well.
"Tadaima, Netto-kun..."
"Okaeri, Rockman!"

</totaly bullcrap> (just in case some people are dumb enough to not see what I just did there :P)
