Most ridiculous mishaps you've suffered *spoilers*

Just post something totally ridiculous that actually happened to you during any gaming experience.

Mine was when I was playing FF4 Advance. This exact thing happens:
-Enemy casts Reflect after I finished putting in my commands.
-Kain attacks. Abel's Lance casts Tornado and almost kills Rosa.
-Cecil attacks. Lightbringer casts Holy and kills Edge.
-Cid attacks. Fiery Hammer casts Flare and kills Cecil.

All of that happened in the exact order.

Another one was when I was playing Star Ocean: the Second Story. You know some of those knight enemies throw that boomerang-like thing? I was in the Fun City arena. One of those enemies threw the boomerang. I got hit; almost dead. I attack and kill the enemy. Just as he's disappearing, the boomerang returns and kills me. The victory music played and the game said I gained 0 experience (but still got some money) and guess what? The game counted as me losing.

*grins sheepishly* I only have one, from Maverick Hunter X. I may have more, but nothing I can think of besides this one.

I was in Armored Armadillo's stage, right at the end before the boss door, and I jumped off the cart/platform thing to land at the door, and I landed above the door right as the cart hit the door. The cart stopped and I was left with no way to the door. *facepalm* I had a good laugh with my brother and his friend about that.

One mishap happened while I was fighting one of my friends in Soul Calibur III. He was beating me pretty badly, and got me down to a sliver of health when one of his attacks ended up catapulting him off the edge of the stage. I couldn't tell whether he was mad or not because I was too busy laughing my head off.

Another I can remember occured while I was playing Starcraft. Now, normally ground units in Starcraft can't occupy the same space at once. When certain Zerg units burrow into the ground, however, they can all burrow into the same spot, so you can techinically stack 50 of them into a single spot in the ground; which I did. Then I told them all to unborrow. I'm pretty sure the game crashed.

ummm... I dunno, the closest recent one would be beating metroid prime then accidentally turning off the game before it did that savey thing.

or in golden sun when I was fighting a guy, I had the game beaten, he was about halfway, so I have the brilliant idea to underestimate him and just try and make it close, so I put all my guys on defend because they were on low health and I knew he had no pysnergy that could do that amout of damage. And you know what he does? Summon rush...

or this happened to a friend and not me but I was there. We were playing soul caliber two and because he is bad at it I put my health to 50% and so he sees this and puts his on infinite. We fight a few times and I win everytime by throwing him off the edge.

I accidently killed Yuna with Tidus and Auron accidently kill Tidus soon after. I think that happened when I was going up against......Sin?

I can't remember who I was going against but I know It happened during the end.

Virtua Fighter. Every once in a while, I fall down off the stage, all on my own. Usually happens when I'm this close to winning...
The same can be applied to other fighting games where falling off means losing (Soul Caliber).

The dumbest thing I've done in a videogame was accidently off myself twice in a row with Jigglypuff. Competing with that is the fact that I completely forgot to save after putting two hours in for something. I can't remember which game though. <<

I've once gotten really far in Phantasy Star Online Episode 1+2 for Gamecube and found tons of sexy new weapons, then I went to go eat dinner and found myself dead. So I shut it off. THAT WAS 6 LEVEL UPS AND 3 SECRETS LOST! :grr:

There was another time when I was on Gangsterz 2 (web game) and for some reason, I closed the window, and lost my money.

And the last one, I was playing Rockman 6, and I was really tired that day, suddenly I purposely jumped into a spike pit.

I was playing Counter Strike( Not source) on the Assault UPC lvl. Awps were allowed and I was a Terrorist.

Someone named rYU taught me a glitch to get boosted through the ceiling on to a secret part of a roof.

Once I was up there, I was so happy, that I jumped up and down....
I was the last T left and then.....

SPLAT! Laughing

I fell.

I was playing an old DOS adventure game called Hugo's House of Horrors. I was trying to get into the house at the beginning of the game, but nothing worked. Out of frustration, I typed in "kick pumpkin". The key to the door was in said pumpkin.

Well ... most frustrated was in SA2, Crazy Gadget. Hard Mode.

Plays through the entire level.

Perfect fine, did every single trick.

Got every single A ranking needed points.

Last jump on a spring to start over the track to touch the switch.

Jump. Homing attack the spring.

Miss.

Fall.

And die.

Can't belive how long I didn't want to play it again. XD

It may not be impressive, but on Rockman BN 5 I was using a GBA instead of my usual DS, and after beating the 100 robots attack I went to turn up the volume and turned off the power instead -_-; .

I was playing Half - Life 2 on the computer. I had just gotten the Gravity gun, and I had taken my first step into Ravenholm. That place is crawling with zombies.
So, as soon as I get out of my vehicle and touch the puddle beneath me, a zombie pops out of the ground and begins to gnaw my leg. XD
I was so scared, I wasted a whole clip of the SMG, not even on the zombie itslelf.

I was playing Super Smash Bros Melee one-on-one with a friend of mine on the Hyrule Temple stage. I was on the bottom part of the stage and he was on the top part; we were both trying to fake each other out to make the other person change levels first. I made it look like I was jumping up the left side, then backed out and tried to use my Up and B move to get back onto the stage. The problem? I was facing the wrong direction, couldn't grab onto the ledge, and fell to my death.

Same game, same people playing, only now there were AI fighters in on the battle. My friend gets a kick out of using DK to carry people to their doom, so he tried to use that technique many times during the match. Problem was, the AI guys he kept using the move on kept breaking away in time to save themselves. He ended up being eliminated first and had 6 Self-Destructs. Laughing

I was playing Super Smash Brothers Melee and doing all-star mode and I had somewhere around 300% damage so I grabbed one of my hearts but bumped the controller and my character walked into the enter stage before I could heal.

In MMBN2, I was one shot from beating Gospel, but my GBA died on me. It took me forever to beat him after that. Stupid GBA...
