No, this isn't the Dual Moons April Fools joke.
I got this in Nintendo's Monthly Power Surge e-mail.
I don't know anything else about it besides the fact it's going to be released in November 15 in the States. I may post some info when I get the next Nintendo Power, but if anyone else receives it before me, please post anything about it. :O
edit: there's also this that I missed in the newsletter. All it shows is the main character's design.

I'm gonna miss playing as Soma, having the power of Dominance and all. We're back to playing a Belmont, yay! |

Hm, I'm not so fond of the art style. I was a pretty dedicated fan of the designs used in Aria of Sorrow, Circle of the Moon and etc; while Dawn of Souls took some getting used to it lent itself well to the DS animation capabilities...but if the NP cover art is an indication of the official art.... :\ _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*

The cover looks more like NP's; they tend to draw their own when they don't have anything else to use. But yeah, I also prefer Ayami Kojima's art over these. However the designs look just as good as Kojima's.
Also, Kojima didn't draw for Circle of the Moon. |

This is not Belmont. Too bad. This Whip-Guy is Jonathan Morris. And this girl is Charlotte Orlean. Charlotte reminds me of Fernandes (Belnades).
Anyway, this game is gonna be great! _________________

I noticed, and this could just be me, but in the second screenshot, Jonathan bears a striking resemblance to Dante from DMC3. Anyways, PoR looks awesome. Can't wait for it! |

I know, but all the GBA games as well as SotN and a few others have a similar look to them that I really like, and it's kind of hard to tell from this one image whether or not Portrait of Ruin will be a big deviation from that or not. As long as the NP cover is done by their house artists and not by Konami, that's fine by me. XD _________________ One of the three EXE sisters! *Armstrong-style pose*
