It appears that if your most recent post gets deleted (as in completely gone, not just having the contents erased), the cookie's "unread posts" info goes haywire, making it look like you didn't have any unread posts since your last visit.
I remember somebody mentioned having a similar problem. It kinda happened to me a while ago. _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

How to explain.... :/
For example, your last post was at 8:02am, then you log out.
...then your post gets deleted (say, a double-post)...
...then other posts come in...
... then you log back in...
... the new posts aren't marked as "unread". _________________ TGS 2007:MISSED! T_T |

There is the "ghost post" problem...perhaps are you refering to that? _________________
