Well for those of you who've seen the dub, you're probably content with the way ShoPro handled it. Oh, well, without Zetto here, I guess I'll start this for him. Basically, I'm pretty happy with it, since "The Unsafe Safe" cracked me up a lot.

This topic is open for Axess discussion, so feel free to start discussing!

Oh, and BTW, no dub bashing please.

Well... I can't remember much of AXESS today, as I was absentmindedly playing Yoshi's Touch & Go during the commercials. But I remember it being pretty good and some joke about a ramp...

Well I've since a total of two Axess shows since the forums were down. The needleman episode was pretty good. I didn't count on them renaming him Spikeman, but I thought his va was very close to the orginal actually. However, I found it strange that Mari would think her sister as a missing/ moved away criminal instead of deceased, but I guess they want to steer as far away from any potential 'death situations' as possible. The Burnerman/safe episode was good as well. I don't recall any significant edits besides the usual stuff. I thought a couple scenes were done better in the original, but the dub came pretty close.

From what I have been hearing, Axess has been doing fine for itself in the dub version. I happily await its debut on Teletoon :V

Now let's see how can Kids WB show to kids who Searhcman is when they don't even have the first episode of his appearance.....

I just couldn't stop laughing at that episode for some reason. Lan screaming just made me split in half.

I'm kinda surprised they left that one scene where Lan gets reflected off the Dimensional Area.

Oh, that's right, Yuuchiro had a rockman doll on skates to show what would happen to Netto if he had went right smack into the D-area. I guess they cut it for time reasons. =/

The thing that doesn't really make much sense is they changed Needleman to Spikeman...but they kept his attack names the same. .-. Why bother? >Surprised

It wasn't really great, I've finally gotten used to Net's (Lan's) voice in the dub. Still nothing like the original, but the show is satisfying. Still though, why leave the original BGMs sometimes but tweak it a little?

I don't like BurnerMan's voice, but hey, what can we do. At least they left his name, I thought it'd be something like ScorcherMan.

I absolutely hate how BubbleMan says, "blub" all the time, "puku" was better.

Smile

Overall, a pretty good epi, nothing special.

EDIT: OH YEAH MAN. SpikeMan? SpikeMan?! Aren't needles and spikes like the same?

Oh yeah and VineMan. ^_^;; That was pointless.

Atleast they didn't change them TOO much. :/

BTW, in case no-one else pointed this and you didn't watch Monday's episode with closed captioning, Manabe's name is now Manuela.

That's hardly going to be difficult at all. All they have to do is replace megaman's line "Long time, no see, searchman" with "Hi I'm megaman, nice to meet you"

Please, its not that complicated. -_-;
