Rockman.EXE New Year's special

As it's been mentioned before, New Year's is a really important festival to the Japanese.

I've noticed that a lot of anime series in the past have had New Year's specials. Or at least a New Year's greeting whereby the characters appear in a small video the length of a commercial wearing New Year's attire and giving a shout-out to the audience.

I'm just wondering if Rockman.EXE will ever have such a special or a greeting. I think it'd be interesting to see all the characters wearing traditional Japanese dress.

i remember they did it once with Yu-Gi-Oh!
i hope they will do it this year with RockmanExe Razz

i can already see Forte with a santa cap :3

No that you mention it, I did see the one piece special somewhere recently. A megaman one might be interesting.

Doesn't the New Years Special appear after the entire series of an anime show completely finish?

I mean for say Rockman.EXE, won't the New Years Special show up once the entire series end?

New Years specials are mainly for long ongoing series like One Piece or Detective Conan that are conected to manga series and have no clear end in sight. In other words they won't finish by the end of the year. Most New Years specials are just two episodes aired back to back. A short 50 episode series like Rockman won't have a new years special especially since it will have concluded before the end of this year.

50 episodes? Maybe in each individual series, but overall, Rockman EXE has aired 171 episodes so far.

In episode 13 you can see the christmas tree.
Maybe nwxt episode have some traditional Japanese things
