Captain Tsubasa

Anyone hear of it? A soccer anime. I managed to get a hold of the first few episodes and wow...this is probably my favorite anime. So far, my favorite character is probably Hyuga Kojiro; he has the most personality of them all; he's arrogant and his playing style in soccer is very rough and brutal, but despite that he's got a big heart for kids and his family.

The NES games are good too. Especially the second one. I wonder if the other Captain Tsubasa games are any good.

For those who've watched the anime or played the games: what do you think of Captain Tsubasa? I think it's pretty funny how Captain Tsubasa is what got me interested in soccer. After playing the second NES game I was like "Come to think of it, soccer looks really interesting now." So I started practicing soccer and now I love it.
