It was supposed to be the GBA collection of the older Game Boy Megaman titles. It's been pushed bak over and over again, and I haven't heard anything about it in a long while. Seems like it may never happen.

It is a real shame that it may never be released. I think the Megaman series is perfect for portable systems so a collection game sounds like a dream come true portable game. I heard the reason it keeps getting pushed back is because they lost the roms which sounds impossible.

they said that they were having problems with the coding in one of the games, & they also hinted about a DS release, so maybe they were also thinking about throwing in the Xtreme games as well. chances are that this will never see the light of day so

Correction: as I understand it, it's the source code that was lost, not the ROMs, which can be found numerous places on the internet.

I'm not entirely sure what difference it makes, though one might assume that the colorization could be a part of it. But I've been assured it's rather significant.

yeah, i was gonna say, if they needed the original ROMs, i could send them to them. the source code makes much more sense.

I was at Gamestop the other day, and the title was totally removed from their computer, which suggests that it was most likely cancelled, unless we see it at Rockman's 20th Anniversary?

I had that game Pre-Order for like almost two years, and when I was told it was removed, I just cancelled my pre-order.

Honestly, I don't think it will ever come out, and well as much be cool to have, I already own all 5 of the original GB games, so I can deal without it

Hey guys - Mega Man Anniversary Collection is going to be coming out for the GBA in Early May 2006. It was on a recent report on Gamespot's website. So, don't worry about it being cancelled. It's almost ready to be released. I heard that Capcom may have delayed it to put in a secret sixth game, but I doubt that's true.

i didn't see an article about it. i'll go check again.

EDIT: alright, i didn't see an article, but i did see a thing on the site that said "Vital Stats" and it said that it would be out June 15.

also, i looked on GameFAQs, and found that "Mega Man Anniversery Collection" for GBA is supposedly coming out June 15, this year, as well. i wonder whether it's right or wrong. 20 bucks says it's wrong.

i would be a happy camper if it came out with enhanced graphics. At least with SNES graphics or somewhat better. Kinda like what they did with the PSP remakes.

The game was delayed indefinitely, but was suppose to come out around 3-4 years ago. I believe it may never see the light of day...
