This is my first time spriting, though I've been doing spriting for awhile. Anyway, Webbuilder's cosplay mets kinda got me hooked with the whole thing. Mettaurs fused with other viruses instead of Navis... Ummm, I'll let the sprites do the talking.

First is Swordy Mettaur. Next to it is the CanDevil Mettaur (Devil for short). I've had old beta drawings of what these two viruses would look like on paper, but I'll show that on the FanArt thread. :/

Not bad, but the shading on your twin viruses needs some work.

Just answer me this for my own clarity, did you copy & paste the Swordy and DevilMets?

No, although to some people, they look like C&P, but that's your opinion. I did some hacking and piecing from the original version to make them more... unique, the base is the Mettaur as you may guessed. I agree that the Twin Mettaur sprites need a bit more work, but those were slightly rushed. -_-;

Anyway, I did two more Swordy Mets, different from V1. I give you Crimson Red and Midnight Blue... and the average looking one (slightly updated Devil Mettaur).

The Crimson Red Met has a cutlass styled blade, and Midnight Blue Met has a slightly different style of the Muramasa. The updated Devil Mettaur, I got rid of the "heat" signatures, the clenching hand, and the CanDevil eye I made it look more... hellish looking. As well as give it a small scar underneath it's only eye.

The Twin Met looks a bit too much like the Twin virus. Take off the hands and it'll look better.

I'll try and do more, some viruses from all the EXE games. I have four here right now, and I have another currently in development.

BunnyMet, AlphaBitMet, AppleMet, and BulbMet. :puku: To me, BulbMet looks like a reamped version of AquaMan, since his posture is like that. -_-;

Woah! Thats some good spriting, all these sprites are filling me with energy, I think I'll come back to spriting. I love that Twin Met, it took me a while to figure out what it was.

You should shorten the Alpha met's head a little. Also, the Bulb met should look more like an actual mettaur and less like a bee. Otherwise, the sprites are pretty good.

The Bulb Mettaur is designed to look like an ordinary lightbulb found around your house... but I guess if looked at it your way, it does sorta look like a bee, with those propellers on him that is. Anyway, since the Dreambit viruses are basically the strongest to beat because of their Life Auras, I created Dreambit Mettaurs. They may look a bit different, but fusing a Mettaur with DreamBit viruses is hard to do using a Met as the base for the body.

I also have Samurai Mettaur (been watching Rurouni Kenshin lately when making him), and a flying Vamipre Mettaur (with small claws on its met feet). It could be a cute pet for ShadeMan-sama... Laughing

I hate college... a week already passed and I'm deep in hard work. :grr: Anyway, I took some time to complete my next family set, along with two random mets.

Meet the distance cousins of the Elmperor Family. The text above them tells you what element they are (Battlechip wise). On the left of them is a Sea Shanty salior: Marina Mettaur, and on the right: Cacty Mettaur.

All right! Those are neat! The Dream Mets are well done and the Element Mets are well shaded. Maybe you could make a Shrimpy met or Hardhead met next?

I'd enjoy the good comments on my mets guys. Anyway, I'm doing one more update. From right to left: Radio Mettaur (used to work at the radio tower at Elec Town before it was abandoned; my reason the BG and music in the game is creepy looking), a Neko Met with a stabbing knife on it's tail (a virus that wasn't cured from the Neko Virus fiasco), DeathFire Mettaur, Snapper Mettaur, and the ???? Mettaur that hides mines in Rock's area. If anyone know the name of that virus that gives you Mine Battlechip in EXE1, tell me please.

All your Mets look great. Nice shadings, two sets of Family mets (Elmperor and Dreambit), can't find not one scrap of any sort of copy and paste. Oh yeah, the Mine setting Mettaur... I have no clue. I'm looking up the official name for it, but I'm sure your doing it anyway. :/
