Has anyone else read this great manga? From what I've seen, the manga is relatively unknown (but incredible).

I've read snippets of the first three volumes, after stealing it for a little while from a friend. XD I think I read the whole first volume, but I really can't remember at this point. But from what I can remember, it's a really good manga! Demon Eyes Kyo is my favorite, of course. <3

I've got around 17 volumes of Samurai Deeper stashed on my shelf, but have yet to read them all (working on 13 now!). I think it's a good series, although towards the 13th volume it starts getting a little confusing- then again I hadn't read any SDK for about two months, so...
My favorite characters would have to be Benitora and Sarutobi (lol, [spoil:7333b96192]he has the same last name as the 3rd Hokage in Naruto[/spoil:7333b96192])!
After the [spoil:7333b96192]Forest of Death [/spoil:7333b96192]it started to get really odd, but it introduced some really cool characters, such as [spoil:7333b96192]Muramasa and [spoil]Bontenmaru. [/spoil:7333b96192]It's a really good manga, with great art, but personally I like a few others more. At times the plot is less than perfect, but it has awesome characters, like [spoil:7333b96192]Hotaru[/spoil:7333b96192]! Seriously, my favorite new character so far.

I've seen the anime XD Around two years ago I went on a samurai anime stint and this was one I watched.

I personally love the art for it, it's so perfect for the action it portrays. Not too soft but still, not so stiff that the movements seem forced in any way.

I've read parts of the first volume. Doesn't seem like something I'd get into (probably because I'm more of a Kenshin guy).

I actually prefer Kenshin more than SDK too, but it does have some cool scenes and fights, as well as dialogue. I absolutely love the fight between [spoil:78591ebd33]Bontenmaru-san and Hotaru-sama [/spoil:78591ebd33](so ruthless). And any fight involving Benitora is absolutely my favorite. I'm really just reading it for the characters... Hidetada just happens to be my favorite.
How far have you read into the series Hyperblade? Are you past the point when [spoil:78591ebd33]Akira steals Kyo's body[/spoil:78591ebd33], and [spoil:78591ebd33]the Mibu attack[/spoil:78591ebd33]? That's where I am.

I'm past that. Currently I'm on volume 17, [spoil:e6ff6c8066]after the battle with Hotaru, where Akira battles the two girls, one of whom is actually a powered up zombie of a legendary warrior ressurrected by the other girl (can't remember their names) at the second gate of the Mibu.[/spoil:e6ff6c8066]
