This topic is about the Viewtiful Joe anime and games. So talk about it here!
I've seen the first 5 episodes (subtitled) of the anime. I have also played the first game. It is pretty tough. :/ |

Despite not actually getting too far into the game (I'm still at Episode 3) I adore it to bits, both the game and the anime. XD The anime has the best theme song ever. _________________

I've been watching the raws... quality really varies. Started out not that well, got good again, got worse again, got good again, got really bad and just recently, now that it's actually started the first game's plot it got really good
Episode 23 was definately my favorite so far.
[spoil:33879e9fe9]It was the final battle between Joe and Alastor, and it was handled better than I ever could have hoped for
As far as I can tell, Alastor's officially out of Jadow now too.[/spoil:33879e9fe9]
That spoils a rather large part of the episode, so watch out. |

I have both games (can't pass 1, haven't passed 2), but I haven't watched the anime. Personally, I don't like the idea of an anime based on Viewtiful Joe. |

Yeah, seems like it'd be a bit odd but it works better than it sounds, luckily.(most of the problems I have to do are with choices made by the plot writers, rather than the idea of it being an anime ) |

I played and beat the first game. If I could beat it in no time it must not have been that hard of a game, because it takes me forever to beat a game. It was so much fun the first time through, but for some reason once i beat it I wasn't able to stand going through it again even after I unlocked Dante. Though the little of it I played with Dante was still pretty cool. (Played the PS2 Version) Seeing Dante in speedos was pretty...frightening also. -_-;
Never seen the anime, don't download to much anime as I did. _________________ (( X-cessively Excesive ))

Do you think their will be a Viewtiful Joe 3 anytime soon? It may probably be the last one. |

Most likely, as Capcom loves sequels and it's been all but put on a giant neon sign that there's gonna be three games
I doubt that the anime will cover the third game unless it gets a second series though. |

I personally don't like the anime too much..I don't know why...I'm not too attracted to it.
As for the game, I only have the first one. Still saving up money for two (and a bunch of other games I haven't gotten yet). |

I have completely beaten VJ 2 (all 37 chambers+super vj mode); still trying to beat Viewtiful Joe.
I am not that attracted to the anime; its plot line is a bit difference and weird, but I also have the 5 sub episode. _________________

Plus [spoil:a61d8a6f9b]Didn't Captain Blue mention something about Joe needing to save the world more twice more in the future at the end of the first game?[/spoil:a61d8a6f9b]
Damn I need to play VJ2. Apparently Blockbuster are a bunch of retarded assholes with no logic anymore. You don't get the first game in a series in and then not get the sequel! :grr: And they avoid games with peripherals too! It's an injustice I tell you! :grr: |

They also got in a lot of legal trouble too but that's for another topic. Anyhoo I've beaten the 1st game in easy mode and I loved it. I really wanna play the 2nd one and watch the anime |

They will, the show was just licensed recently by some company named Geneon. Anyway maybe we will get dubbed/subbed DVDs in the future then (hopefully). ^^
I've seen about six of the episodes so far, and I think the show was pretty enjoyable overall. _________________ .+.~illusion~.+. |

That's cool that the series is getting dubbed. I hope it has the same voice actors the game has. I own both VJ games and they both rock. |

We get them from sites that either host the VJ RAWs or Subs(There is only one Subbed VJ Site). |
