You do, and if you buy the PSP value pack, you get a 32MB memorty stick. To be honest, I'd buy just the base system and buy a larger memory stick. You'll need it for most games anyway.

I went with the 1GB stick when I bought my PSP.

You need a stick for anything if you want to save data. Prices differ depending on how big they are.

The less MB in a stick the less expencive,A 32 MB that comes with it is usally good if your just gonna use it for Save Data for PSP games. ALot of people use their PSP's for Music,Videos photo's and Games and require more memory.
There is a 4 Gig Hard drive for PSP's now

well what are you going to use your PSP for?

MB-Megabytes it's memory. Sizes in MB for PSP STICK DUO(PsP memory cards) are 32,64,128,256,512,1 Gig,2 Gigabytes

if your confused about Gigabytes and Megabytes it's simple
1 Gigabyte = 1000 Megabyte

Saved games, yes, movies no. Only very short clips will fit on that. A full-length movie is often 700MB. If you make it smaller (with a program) it will probably shrink to about 500MB or something. Episodes of Rockman Exe are about 150-200 MB. If you make them smaller, they'll be something like, 100 MB.
You could always just watch the movies on your PC or TV...

No, he's talking about movies you put on your memory stick. You might want to start looking for PSP FAQs or learn to use Google.

And I've gotten Advent Children down to 120 MB, but I had to drop the quality to the lowest.
