OT - A KH2 x High School Musical Fic, yes, HSM -Chapter 3-

Okay, first of all you can kill me for writing something with High School Musical in it. I just had this idea...and I liked it, so I started writing.

It will basically follow the plot of the movie...with some Kingdom Hearts twists in it. This takes place during 2's story line...I guess. It's just sort of...not part of the official story? If you're not familiar with HSM you should read this on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_School_Musical

“Where are we now?” Sora asked his companions as they walked down a hallway. Donald and Goofy followed behind. “I have no clue what any of this stuff is.” Sora touched the walls, running his had as he walked. Jiminy hopped out of Sora’s hood.

“According to my journal this is East High. Let me see what else I have...” Jiminy flipped through frantically, “I don’t seem to have anything other than it’s a school.”

“You mean this entire world is just some big school?” Donald shouted from behind. “Must be a small world.” Goofy chucked.

“Donald, keep your voice down. do you want to draw attention to...your...self?! Donald! You’re human! You too Goofy!” Sora fell back in disbelief. Donald and Goofy had been transformed into human beings. Donald came up to Sora’s shoulders. He had messy white hair and his vest was replaced with a blue un-buttoned short sleeved shirt with a long white sleeved shirt underneath. He was now wearing kahki pants and yellow shoes. Goofy was now wearing a short sleeved green shirt with his black vest and his yellow pants. His hair became messy and a pair of goggles was resting on his forehead.

“Awww, I don’t have my hat.” Goofy rubbed the top of his head. “I wonder what happened.” Goofy stared at Donald.

“My magic must have kicked in once we enter this world and we didn’t notice.” Donald said, looking at his new clothes.

“How do you not notice you’ve completely changed in appearance?” Sora said, now wandering around the hallway. “I wonder what this big room is for.” Sora entered a set of double doors. Goofy and Donald followed.

“I think this is a gym, Sora.” Goofy said. “Gawrsh, it’s pretty big.” He began to stare up at the ceiling.

“Oh phooey, knock it off Goofy. We need to be on the lookout for Hear-!” Donald was interrupted.

“Hey! Look out!” A boy shouted from across the gym. A wave of basketballs were traveling down the court.

“Donald! Goofy!” Sora began knocking the balls away with the keyblade. The balls popped with every swing, Donald swung his wand at them and Goofy blocked with his shield. The balls stopped bouncing and the boys on the other side ran over.

“You know, normal people just move out of the way. Look at all these balls, they’re ruined. Who are you anyway? You guys new?” The boy began picking up what was left of the balls.

“Uh...sorry about that, and I guess we’re new. I’m Sora, this is Donald, and this is Goofy.” Sora motioned his arms towards his friends.

“Do you need someone to show you around the school? It’s kind of big.” The boy turned around and walked over to his teammates. “Tell my dad I’m taking some new students around the school, I’ll be back later.”

The boy walked back over to Sora. “Sorry about that, my dad’s the coach, and he’ll flip if I’m not practicing for the championship game. Oh, by the way, my name’s Troy. Troy Bolton.”

I've known quite a number of people to toss around the idea of a Disney Channel world, but you're the first person I've seen to actually act upon it, Sketch. It's nicely done, too. Inspires me to write a fic having Sora visit most (if not all) of the Disney Channel shows.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy walked down the hallway with Troy, who was pointing out different rooms. “So, where are you guys from?” Troy asked.

“We’re from another wor-” Goofy started to say until Donald elbowed him in the stomach. “Owwww. What was that for?” He said rubbing his stomach.

“Will you be quiet! He can’t find out we’re from another world!” Donald shouted, still with his normal voice. His magic didn’t change that. He started shouting at Goofy, who had fallen over due to Donald’s rant. Troy looked at them and turned to Sora.

“Okay, we‘ll set that aside for later. Sora, tell me, how did you end up with these guys? They’re pretty odd.” Troy pointed at Donald. “He sounds like a duck, and the last time I checked kids our age don’t have white hair.” He then pointed at Goofy. “He’s pretty clumsy and he laughs odd. You’re probably the only normal one in there.” Troy put his hands in his pockets.

“We’ve known each other for a while, we’re good friends.” Sora smiled at Donald and Goofy, who in turn smiled back.

“Ah, of course, nothing can change a strong bond with friends.” Troy said. “Sorry if I offended you,” he walked up to Goofy and stuck his arm out. “Need some help?” He pulled Goofy up.

“Gawrsh, thanks Troy.” Goofy smiled at Troy.

“No problem.” Troy smiled back. “So let me show you the...” He stopped mid-sentence. “Do you guys hear something?”

“Troy! Where are you? Troy!” Someone shouted. Two sets of loud footsteps could be heard.

“What’s going on?” Sora asked. “Whoever it was they sounded like they were in trouble.” Troy looked at Sora with a puzzled look on his face. The footsteps stopped. A boy and a girl ran up to Troy.

“Troy! Here you are!” The boy shouted, leaning forward to catch his breath.

“Chad? Gabriella? What’s wrong? Calm down.” Troy asked.

“Those black things from the other day are back.” Gabriella said. “There are more now than before!”

“Black things?” Sora asked. “The Heartless. Where are they?” Sora asked.

“They’re in the gym! They showed up a little bit after Troy left with you. When they showed up everyone got out. I came and found Gabriella to see if you were with her.” Chad said.

“ Donald! Goofy! Come on!” Sora shouted. They ran to the end of the hall and stopped.

“What are you going to do Sora?!” Troy asked.

“We’re going to fight! Lets go guys!” Sora and co. ran back to the gym. Troy, Chad, and Gabriella followed.

“Okay, so now what are you going to do? We’ve tried everything: sticks, bats, poles, anything we can swing. Everything goes right through them.” Troy said. “What can you do that’s different?”

“We know how to handle these things, just leave it to us.” Sora smiled and dashed off, Donald and Goofy followed. Sora swung his keyblade at a group of Shadow Heartless and they faded away. Donald cast Blizzard at a few Large Bodies, freezing them in place. Goofy threw his shield and hit the frozen Heartless in the backs, causing them to disappear. Troy, Chad, and Gabriella looked onward.

“...Who are these guys, Troy?” Gabriella asked. The sound of more Heartless being destroyed could be heard, as well as the crackling of Donald’s magic.

“...That’s what I want to know.” Troy said.

Chapter 3 is partially written. I'm going to wait until I see the movie to write anymore. I'm not sure I have everyone's personalities down...nix that, I'm pretty sure I don't. XD

Sora and co. defeated the Heartless that invaded the gym. Troy looked onward with a puzzled look on his face. "Okay, I don’t know what just happened," Troy said "but you have some explaining to do." Sora laughed hesitantly and looked at Donald.

"Oh phooey." Donald threw his arms up. Sora walked over to Troy.

"Alright, we’re not really supposed to do this...but there’s no avoiding it now." Sora sat down on the bleachers, Donald, Goofy, Gabriella and Chad followed. Sora explained everything that happened up to this point. "...and now we’re searching for Riku and the King, as well as making sure Organization XIII isn‘t causing any trouble," Sora finished speaking. "any questions?"

"Organization XIII? Nobodies?" Gabriella started to say "They sound so sad, looking for hearts, but no, there hasn’t been anyone around fitting the black trench coat description, and the only people without hearts are Sharpay and Ryan Evans." Troy and Chad let loud a loud laugh.

"Who are Sharpay and Ryan?" Goofy asked.

"They think they’re God’s gift to drama," Troy crossed his arms "they’re twins and-oh speaking of them...here they are now." He looked at the other side of the gym, the loud sound of high heels clicking on the wooden floor echoed across the gym. She was walking with a very graceful stride, with her brother walking behind her.

"Are you two Sharpay and Ryan?" Goofy asked once more.

"Of course we are~!" The smile she wore quickly disappeared. Her hands went to her hips. "Who are you?"

"Oh, Sharpay, Ryan, this is Sora, Donald, and Goofy." Troy said. "They’re new here." Sharpay quickly glanced Sora and co. over, as if she was analyzing them right on the spot.

"I see, well have you heard of the Winter Musical? We’re the stars this year." Sharpay smiled. Sora looked at Troy, who was gripping the underside of the bleachers.

"No, you’re not. You have to win it, you have to try this time." Troy said, almost digging into the bleachers now. "Maybe Gabriella and I will get it."

"Bolton, do you really think you can beat us? Singing is what we’ve been doing since childhood. We’ve been in 17 school productions since Kindergarten! Face it, we’re just better than you!" Sharpay let out a loud, obnoxious laugh. Ryan merely stood there watching his sister enjoy herself. "Stick with what you know Bolton, and that’s basketball. We’ll be leaving now, tootles~!" Sharpay walked off, her high heels clicking louder than before.

"Tootles." Troy said sarcastically. Ryan hesitated for a moment.

"Um...it was nice meeting you!" Ryan said. Sharpay stopped abruptly.

"Ryan! We’re leaving!" She continued walking Ryan ran off to catch up with his sister. Gabriella grabbed Troy’s arm.

"It’s okay, calm down," she said. "we can do it." Troy released the bleachers and began rubbing his palms.

"I know, I know, she’s just so irritating! Who does she think she is?" Troy got up and began pacing. "Really, she’s not that great. She just makes me so angry."

"Um...Troy? Aren’t you the basketball team captain?" Donald said. "Why do you want to be in some silly musical? Won’t you dad be upset?"

"I know, it’s just, ever since that night with Gabriella, I found there was more to life than basketball," Troy looked at Gabriella, "We’re doing this for us, to show people that you don’t have to be the same person or do the same thing your entire life." Troy and Gabriella smiled.

"Well, I think you can do it!" Sora jumped up and began pumping his fists. "I think it’s great that you want to change. Doing the same thing your whole life is boring! Going to new places and seeing new things, that’s what life is about. If we hadn’t wanted to see new worlds I never would have known what was out there," Sora looked at Donald and Goofy, "and I never would have made all these new friends." The trio smiled.

"Heh, you think so? I think they can do it too." Chad piped in, he had been quiet this entire time for some reason.

"Thanks guys, that really means a lot." Troy said.

"Well guys, I think we should go make sure those things haven’t shown up anywhere else." Gabriella said. The rest of the group rose and exited the gym. A head popped in from the opposite door.

"Are they gone?" A voice said.

"Yeah, I think so." The head pulled back from beyond view and came forward revealing Ryan who was being shoved by Sharpay.

"This isn’t working...PETE! Get in here!" She shouted. A large orb of energy appeared from the floor, it was a mixture of black and purple, it was pulsating with black mist. The large figure of Pete emerged from the abyss, although he was not affected by the world, so he wasn’t human.

"What do you brats want," Pete said in his deep voice "I’m busy!" Sharpay approached him.

"Your stupid Heartless didn’t work!" She shouted. "You said they would keep Troy busy enough that he would forget about the musical!"

"Yeah! You said..." Ryan started to say until Sharpay abruptly turned around and put a finger up to Ryan’s face.

"Ryan, I’ll handle this," she turned back to Pete, "You said they would take care of him. Now he’s still going to try for the musical!"

"Well it’s not MY fault! It would have worked if that brat with the keyblade hadn’t shown up!" Pete bellowed at Sharpay.

"Well fix it!" She shouted back. Pete ad Ryan stumbled back.

"Now you see here missy, I’m not responsible for this, I gave you the Heartless to use and that’s it! Now figure it out yourself!" Pete started to walk away.

"Wait, you said ‘that brat with the keyblade’ what brat and what’s a keyblade?" Sharpay asked. "Was it that kid with Troy?"

"He’s with the guy you’re trying to take out? Oh, that’s a bad sign." Pete said. "Look, you might as well quit now because if he’s with him then you’re gonna fail."

"We’ve come too far to give up! You just keep giving us the Heartless. We’ll think of something to get rid of, oh, what’s his name?" She asked.

"So..So...Sora! That’s it!" Ryan said. "Oh what were the others names..." Ryan put his hand on his head.

"They’re not important! Just go Pete, we’ll tell you when we need you." She said. Pete let out a loud sigh.

"I warned you...whatever, just don’t bother me unless you need me." Pete walked back into the orb of energy and vanished.

"That boy with Troy needs to go. Come on Ryan, I have an idea~" Sharpay walked out of the gym mumbling to herself.

"O...okay Sharpay." Ryan adjusted his hat to his had and followed behind his sister.

"I know, it’s just, ever since that night with Gabriella, I found there was more to life than basketball," Troy looked at Gabriella, "We’re doing this for us, to show people that you don’t have to be the same person or do the same thing your entire life." Troy and Gabriella smiled.

"Well, I think you can do it!" Sora jumped up and began pumping his fists. "I think it’s great that you want to change. Doing the same thing your whole life is boring! Going to new places and seeing new things, that’s what life is about. If we hadn’t wanted to see new worlds I never would have known what was out there," Sora looked at Donald and Goofy, "and I never would have made all these new friends." The trio smiled.

"Heh, you think so? I think they can do it too." Chad piped in, he had been quiet this entire time for some reason.

"Thanks guys, that really means a lot." Troy said.

"Well guys, I think we should go make sure those things haven’t shown up anywhere else." Gabriella said. The rest of the group rose and exited the gym. A head popped in from the opposite door.

"Are they gone?" A voice said.

"Yeah, I think so." The head pulled back from beyond view and came forward revealing Ryan who was being shoved by Sharpay.

"This isn’t working...PETE! Get in here!" She shouted. A large orb of energy appeared from the floor, it was a mixture of black and purple, it was pulsating with black mist. The large figure of Pete emerged from the abyss, although he was not affected by the world, so he wasn’t human.

"What do you brats want," Pete said in his deep voice "I’m busy!" Sharpay approached him.

"Your stupid Heartless didn’t work!" She shouted. "You said they would keep Troy busy enough that he would forget about the musical!"

"Yeah! You said..." Ryan started to say until Sharpay abruptly turned around and put a finger up to Ryan’s face.

"Ryan, I’ll handle this," she turned back to Pete, "You said they would take care of him. Now he’s still going to try for the musical!"

"Well it’s not MY fault! It would have worked if that brat with the keyblade hadn’t shown up!" Pete bellowed at Sharpay.

"Well fix it!" She shouted back. Pete ad Ryan stumbled back.

"Now you see here missy, I’m not responsible for this, I gave you the Heartless to use and that’s it! Now figure it out yourself!" Pete started to walk away.

"Wait, you said ‘that brat with the keyblade’ what brat and what’s a keyblade?" Sharpay asked. "Was it that kid with Troy?"

"He’s with the guy you’re trying to take out? Oh, that’s a bad sign." Pete said. "Look, you might as well quit now because if he’s with him then you’re gonna fail."

"We’ve come too far to give up! You just keep giving us the Heartless. We’ll think of something to get rid of, oh, what’s his name?" She asked.

"So..So...Sora! That’s it!" Ryan said. "Oh what were the others names..." Ryan put his hand on his head.

"They’re not important! Just go Pete, we’ll tell you when we need you." She said. Pete let out a loud sigh.

"I warned you...whatever, just don’t bother me unless you need me." Pete walked back into the orb of energy and vanished.

"That boy with Troy needs to go. Come on Ryan, I have an idea~" Sharpay walked out of the gym mumbling to herself.

"O...okay Sharpay." Ryan adjusted his hat to his had and followed behind his sister.
