another nice episode indeed.

the thing that suprised me the most were the Navi chips in that machine that Tohru used. It contained Colonel, Blastman and some more.
Does this mean they will finally use Navi Chips in the future?

Finally this was not another "omg, virii everywhere! dimensional area!!" >____> we had that like what... four time in a row now? And Meiru, Dekao and Netto together again!! That was nice XD I hope Dekao will have a more active role again :p And could anyone please clarify what Mahajarama said to Netto? A lot concerning Wily anyway, but I don't speak japanese XD anyway, I /can/ see how this episode and the next will fuse together as one :p

This episode is rather dull. The action was sparse, and whatever action was there seemed more obviously rushed than before. Since I can't grasp any of what was said, I'd say this episode is only marginally relevant since it does tie directly in to the next one.

I think this series is on its last legs sadly. It's just far too short to draw interest anymore.

We have one build-up episode, and now the show's on its last legs? People really jump to conclusions these days, huh?

However, the ep wasvery dull. I hope the next ep will have a little more action.

I don't find it dull, myself. It's been a long time seeing some Dakao, Netto and Meiru time.

However, I was questioning the anime when the viruses exploded when they were supposed to be deleted while R Rock was using Mega Vulcan. >_>;

I meant the whole Beast Plus series they don't have enough time to balance plot and action anymore, so all of the eps have been painfully boring.

All... 3 of them?

I think they've been balancing plot and action all the same. Just there's less of it. It seems like, Talking/Fun, Action, Talking/Fun.

I rather enjoyed these first 3 episodes.

Yes, dull. Nothing really went anywhere, and once again they fought Zero... Who STILL isn't that impressive. Sigh, this is WAY too short to really have any normal life things in it, and fit into the time frame plus the auto ending thing. I knew this would happen. When was the last time Netto was late, did they forget that part?

Wow people are pessimistic these days. We've seen the equivalent of the first episode and a half of the other series, and already people are calling it doomed.

Just what is it that people are expecting from Zero? For him to be a god of death and destruction on a par with Gospel, Forte, Nebula Gray, and the CyberBeast fusion from the very start? That'd be kind of hard to do considering how powerful Rockman and Blues are at this point. They delete any virus in one hit, and most Navi's don't even slow them down anymore. Anyways, thus far I'm resonably impressed with Zero. He can hold his own against either Rockman or Blues, and he's shown more intelligence than most past foes. You know, retreating when that's what's needed, completing his mission with the minimum needed fighting, that sort of thing.

Umm, you do realize that in the games Netto did grow up a little and stop having "being late, homework not done, etc" as his trademarks? Either way the thing he was late to the most was school. And it'd be kind of hard to show that given that they seem to have forgotten that Netto does attend school when he doesn't have things trying to kill him.

Wow, some sense. Thank you Gray17. Seriously guys, it's only the third episode. Cut ShoPro some slack.

Also, I was all "Yay! Finally! Some DekaoXNettoXMeiru time!" Also, the Sushi no Wairi with the robotic Sushi guys. Heh.

And the machine with the navi chips...I could've sworn I heard Tohru say SOMETHING along the lines of "Crossu" or something like that. What was with that? >Sad

(Also, has anyone noticed that Netto hasn't ONCE reached for a Soul Unison chip through the entirety of Beast and Beast Plus? Did Rockman like...lose the ability to Soul Unison or something?)

Pretty sure somebody explained in another thread about soul unisons were a game feature that just doesn't really work in the anime. So they stopped using them.

Wow, why is almost everyone so pessimistic? I rather liked this one in comparison to the first two. The first two were like "omg evil plants! dimensional area! cross fusion! aah, it's zero! kiken, zero! and oh noes he got away" >__> I thought THAT was rather dull. If it was gonna be like that all series long i would've really considered to stop watching O___o;;
True, the first appearance of Zero and the first use of those Juuka Chips, that were the highlights of the episode, but they were the ONLY highlight >___> This episode was used for some explaining by Mahajarama (I still have no idea what he was jabbering about XD), Zero stealing something (dimensional element.. or something?) and Netto, Dekao and Meiru together doing something fun. I didn't think it was the best of episodes, but you should consider this the first half of an episode and not just one ep. At least, that's what I do.
So we get higher quality episodes at the price of waiting twice as long. Maybe what you should do is watch two episodes at a time and wait two weeks to watch, I think then it'd be more balanced out.

I don't know about that. :-/
That would mean Zero got away from Netto and Co. twice in one episode Laughing

But I agree with you re: first two episodes. I was like "Oh, no! The show's been kiddie-ized just when Netto got more mature"

The Chibisisation in this episode seemed to be much less and the animation seemed to be closer to that of Beast. Maybe the artist who do episodes 1 & 2 just draws children that way?

This episode seemed....random. Being cut in half means that if you look at it on it's own nothing much happened. Well, except Zero breaking in and stealing something (was it the data for the Dimensional Element? I heard that mentioned).

The animation style usually just depends on who is drawing that episode. I think the widest variety I ever saw was when watching Axess. :P I hope whoever did Episode 5 got fired.

That would be "Mega Class Chip" that he said. :>

I think Beast+ is cute, and animated exceedingly well. Mayhaps since the episode is only half the time, they can allow more details and fluidity in their animation frames with the budget.

Zero is actually pretty cool, and future episode summaries suggest his role will follow along that of Transmission.

For the Battlechip Stadium, they used Zero 4's theme. This is the second time they have used game music in the anime. The first time was Beast+1 when Tohru activated the BCS, it was the game over music I think.

Zero's animation is rather impressive, I like it a lot.

What did he steal though? I thought I heard Dimensional Element but I'm probably wrong.

No, they're slightly remixed versions of EXE 6 tunes.

Episode One: [spoil:f390a52866]The song was "Loser", which is track #31 from the OST.[/spoil:f390a52866]

Episode Three: [spoil:f390a52866]This time it was a version of "Enemy Deleted!", which is track #12 from the OST.[/spoil:f390a52866]

Yeah, that was his/her only episode. Axess and Stream had a lot of one-shot art directors, but since Beast, we've had a consistent flow from the same talents. I guess there was a cut-back...

So, there goes my theories. Not only are the kids not super-duper cute in episode 3 (refuting my theory that a higher-up made a decision that everyone draw the kids cuter), but an animation done by Ishihara Mitsuru (Enzan's plug-in animation) was recycled. Huh.

No. The art director from episode 2 has been around since the original EXE, and this is the first s/he has drawn the kids so chibi-like.
