How do I beat... (EXE Transmission Spoilers)

How to beat the firewall thingy at the Dream Virus stage?
It didn't have a life-meter, so I have no idea whether or not what I'm doing actually works +_+

p.s.
I'd rather not look at walkthroughs because most of the time, while looking for the answer I wanted, other parts get spoiled for me -_-;

I used the Z-Cannon P.A.... pertty simple.... just make sure you have alot of sword type and cannon type chips in your folder.... anything so you can go between Close range combat to hiting it from a far.

What you need to do is to blast each section of the firewall. From what I could tell, each section has its own HP bar and contributes its own attacks against you. Take them down, and shoot that cannon until it's reduced to cyberdust.

If it means anything, I ended up using Charged Shots for about half the fight.

Just blast the three pieces it has that are in front of you and avoid the spikies. I usually take out the bottom first, then the top, and finally the center. And the Z-Cannon P.A. makes it insanely easy so use it if you can.

Actually, the little bits and pieces are just to keep you from focusing on the cannon, you can destroy them, but you won't actually win unless you trash the eye/cannon. And, before you enter the fight, try shuffling through your folder, <spoil>Your status and chips are restored to normal after the fight. </spoil>
