I found this on Ebay

It's some kinda Clear Blue PET. I'm not sure if it's fake or not

It's fake. First of all, it has the Japanese Plug-in PET box but with English added, and not even in the correct font. Then you have the Taiwanese EXE logo in place of the Japanese one.

It's definitely a fake, most likely one of those Hong Kong knock-offs. Don't buy it.

You don't know what you are talking about. Toysnjoys had it. it isn't fake. it looks fake. the forte one isn't neither. Toysnjoys is saying you must pay 128 dollars. this is not fake. i am bidding and i'm gonna win.

Sorry to resurrect a relatively-dead thread, but I was wondering who else has had problems with Toys n Joys..I had difficulties with them last year on surprise, surprise, a RM-EXE item. -_-;

I had ordered a battleplaction model kit from them in July of 2004 and didn't get it or any relevant email replies(Cept a lie about it shipping when it didn't) until I do believe November..it took a PayPal complaint to get them to actually send it. PayPal later investigated and suspended their account and gave me a refund, however I have to send the refund back. I let the customer service guy know I would return the money when the account I did business with is re-activated and he said that was okay. I guess theoretically I could just send it to their new paypal account, but I want it to be on record that I sent it to the old one.
And that is the long dark story. Haw.
It really did piss me off though. I did get the figure, everything was fine with the actual product, but they have EXTREMELY bad customer service. If they had said beforehand the product might take that long to import I would've understood because it can be tricky sometimes, or if they had a backlog of orders, but there's NO way it really took that long for them to do it, and they didn't tell me so that's moot.

Actually...there is a real Crystal Version Plug-In PET.

No, I do not own it, but a friend of mine owns it. Also, it you go to *Link removed by Sketch* and go to the board, you will see the section where it shows pictures of it.

Da box. The chips it comes with are the same as a normal Plug-In PET.

...& there you have it. Crystal ver. Plug-In PET.
The PET is identical except for the fact that the casing is transparent (obviously). The manual however (due to the fact that this IS a CHINESE release), is printed in dual language- Chinese, & English...ok, EnRish. It's a little hard to understand.
But better than reading Japanese. =/

While I'm at it, I'd also like to clear something up.
The Hong-Kong release Plug-In PETs are NOT bootlegs.
They're re-release standard Plug-In PETs redistributed a subsidiary company. The box has copyrighting on it that has appeared on the other recent H.K. merchandise that's been poping up; I.E: The recent Rockman EXE model kits (EXP: the Roll model kit), the new (English-logo) Plug-In PETs, the re-released & repackaged Rockin'action Bandai figures, the Rockman helmet & Paladin sword cospley items, ETC.
There's also the fact that the PET, the instructions AND the box all have Capcom, ShoPro, & Bandai copyrighting all over them.

So. Now you know.
Oh, & someone in an above post mentioned a Forte Plug-In PET? In case you weren't aware, that's real too (there's a shot of it in box on the Chinese Rockman EXE off. site...). Also released in China, also fairly rare. I've seen two pop up on Yahoo! Japan; there's probably been a few more, but I don't check too awful frequently.

...& no, I don't have the Forte ver. (The only thing special about it is that it's black...)

So, if anyone wants to see more pictures of my crystal Plug-In, manual, ETC., just PM me, ICQ me, whatever. =)
